A pleasant surprise. After eating at some of the more well-known Italian eateries in the area, I wouldnt have expected this level of quality from a small place on a side road in the exclusive hamlet of New Canaan, but it delivered. PROS: Excellent and fresh ingredients. Creative Menu. Brick-Oven California-styled Pizza that gets a solid "A" in my book (fresh ingredients + great crust). Very friendly and pleasant group of folks serving us. Reasonable prices. CONS: Dessert menu was pretty short and lacked many of the "regular" items youd want to see (e.g., gelato, Tartuffe, etc.) ... but then again, there appears to be a quality gelato place right next door. This was a pleasant surprise and we will return. I hope the proprietors get a little more courage to broaden the menu, especially when it comes to appetizers and desserts. If allowed "half star" ratings, I would have given it a grade of "4.5".

My first time there and will definitely add it to my short list of great local restaurants. I tried the meatballs, cauliflower salad and the pasta bolognese. All had very unique flavors and were delicious. Very homey atmosphere – love the windows. Service was great. They have gluten-free pasta too!

Best Naples-style pizza in the area -- woodfired and absolutely delicious! Try the clam pie (they come in their shells!) or opt for the classic margherita. Either way, you wont be disappointed. Other honorable mentions -- the calamari and the meatballs with polenta.

This place was awful. Not only did they try to charge me 3 times for my pizza (payed by card) the pizza was mediocre at best, seriously this place needs to pull it self together. Never going back, trust me you dont want to try it.

seriously good wood fired pizza. others in my family think their margarita pizza is hands down the best anywhere. Im partial to the clam pizza. their appetizers are amazing. sometimes that is all I order, like having tapas.

Awesome and intimate feel. Wouldnt recommend going with a group larger than 4 (though they can certainly seat more). Some of the best pizza and Italian style food in Fairfield county.
