The scenery is good. Nice atmosphere. Big projection screen showing tv or movies. Live Band. Thats all I can say positively about this place. After being seated, I waited maybe a half an hour for a server to come back to ask me what I wanted. my one drink i asked for before I ordered food took another 20 to 30 minutes to come to me. After waiting that long, and the disinterest from the server in asking me if I was ready to order, I decided on not eating there . 9 dollars for water and tonic with a splash of gin. Not worth it. Youre better off sticking to a beer if you want an alcoholic beverage. Granted I was there for a party, but I showed up a little later with two friends after everyone else and we were ignored after I specifically said we wanted to eat and we all wanted drinks. The staff sat there in the distance just looking at us, as if we punched one of their mothers in the face. And it wasnt like this was some overcrowded weekend night, nor was it at a prime dining hour. Upon leaving, we were surrounded by Westchesters best and brightest youngsters, screaming racial epithets, trying to act like they were from the bowels of the south Bronx to be intimidating, as to remind us of the type of classy people Playland sometimes attracts these days. And I also want to know why they feel the need to make the music on the P.A. system, after the live band leaves, to be at deafening levels to the point you cannot have a conversation with the person sitting directly next to you. I found myself SCREAMING just to say something as simple as goodbye to a friend. Very obnoxious and inconsiderate to their clientele. Youd think they were a teenager wanting to show off their new sound system in their car by driving around the local mall parking lot with the bass turned all the way up. Just straight up annoying. I had a bad feeling about this place (or at least the way the night was going to go) by the way we were treated upon entering. Men were scoffed at and ignored by the male meatheads they had working the entrance as they eyed the women up and down like they wanted to do savage-like mating rituals with them. Disgusting human beings they have working the door. Ill eventually go back here when Ive calmed down about my whole bad experience, but I am not expecting a single thing with all of this negativity that hit me in one night.

This is a piece of tropical vacation spot in, of all places, Playland amusement park. Its a unique combination of slightly cheesy, and truly transporting. You dont feel like youre in a Westchester suburb anymore, except for all the locals who love this place. There is a selection of young and old, families and hipster singles. A very fun comfortable environment. You can sit at the main outdoor bar and enjoy the view of the sound. On Friday nights they have a live band, and theres room to dance. The bar staff is awesome, and they have a big selection of delicious frozen tropical drinks. They have a raw bar too. The food is decent. Its way better than anything you can get in the park. I just love it, and so does my wife, now that I introduced her to it.

Great view from here. The service is slow and the prices are very high for what youre actually getting. You also need to pay to park so if youre going to meet people here each car is $10 to park and you get $5 back with orders over $30. That means youll have to do separate checks if you want that back. Its just a real pain from the start, and with the quality of the food and the prices theres better places to go.

Ordered $32 tiki platter for 2 and $18 calamari . Calamari was overbreaded with flavorless dip. It had no crispness. The platter dish consists of coconut shrimp that was raw inside including the vegetable egg roll and potsticker. It felt like the food was frozen and was not properly cooked to doneness. True disappointment! Waste of money. Maybe their beverages are better. The view was nice.

Food was crap and service was crap. The fried foods tasted like plastic and all the meat was cooked wrong. The server was really old and we had to repeat our order multiple times because he couldnt hear what we were saying. So if you like food that tastes like plastic and waiters who cant understand a word you say I recommend this place. But most people I know dont like eating plastic.

The food is way over priced! I got a cheese burger and a beer for 30$. My kid got a cheese burger from kids menu n both looked the same other than the bun n I got a tomato lettuce n pickle! Not worth the price! Should have just ate in playland. The view is nice. Service was not good. I had to finally get up and get my own ketchup. Maybe come just for drinks. Tiki bar sucks

Ordered steamers and they sent out one so terribly rotten the waitress was absolutely disgusted, manager quickly came to snatch it away and comped us the steamers. I have never seen anything so terrible, literally black and oily and stunk like rotten cheese. The setting of the restaurant is amazing though but youre playing Russian roulette if you eat there.

Pude probar un cocktail, nada del otro mundo y caro. No nos dejaron acceder a ciertas zonas por ir con niños. No guardo muy buen recuerdo ciertamente.

Nice outdoor seating with friendly and attentive service. Our table had 2 orders of fish and chips however the fish fillets were undercooked. The fries that came with them were really good though. Id definitely go back and try something else. The drinks are good and the view of the water is perfect.

It was a great nite, good friends & music. However, this trip i was very disappointed with our food, desert, drinks & service. Been there many times & its been great. I guess they were having a bad night. It was packed, so maybe that was it. Would still go back. One bad nite is no biggie.

The atmosphere is beautiful you forget your in New York period. The drinks are better during happy hour due to the price. The food is pricey and the menu is limited. For the most part it was fine, I was not really impressed so I will not be coming back. The choice is yours.

Really depends on when you go and what you are looking for. Nice for the family during daylight hours. More of a party spot in the evening. Food is "decent" but slightly pricey. Considering the water views, really not terrible at all.

It is right on the beach and is great for family dinner. It has live entertainment and a great view of the pier. It is right next to.playland amusement park. It has great appetizers and an exceptional variety.
