I work all week. The one thing I want to do at the end of the work week is reward myself. I want to treat myself to dinner. I think I am ultimately looking for is to sit at the bar, order a well done burger, have a beer and a shot, and have intelligent conversation with the patrons next to me. I can honestly say that Plan B in Milford, Connecticut delivered on this Thursday July 3, 2014. The bar was busy but I was able to get a seat. I was able to get a beer in a timely manner. They don’t have my favorite beer Guinness there but the server recommended a Harpoon dark beer. I can’t remember the name but it was good. I was pleased. I ordered the Baja burger which is listed as "Fresh Avocado, Jalapeños, Tomato, Jack Cheese, Lettuce & Chipotle Spread". The server recommended putting the chipotle spread separately as it and the jalapenos would be overpowering. I said okay and just asked for my burger to be cooked well done. I want it to be a hockey puck. I don’t want to see any red. I had two different intelligent conversations while I was there. I was talking to a guy who was like me in liking Guinness and well-cooked burgers. I was later talking to a young woman who has celiac disease. She was telling me the reason she was there was the fact that Plan B has an excellent gluten free menu. Her boyfriend Brian works at the Prime 16 in Orange and it is on my list of places to check out. She also recommended I check out Joey Cs Roadhouse. According to my receipt the server’s name was “Laurie C”. On my check the words “well done” was in bold print. My burger was well done and I was extremely satisfied with it. The french fries were good. They weren’t anything to brag about but I did enjoy dipping them in the chipotle spread. Server Laurie C did an excellent job in taking care of me in a timely manner. She was busy and I was impressed. I was not stuffed from my meal. Plan B is a chain and being there reminded me of being in a TGIF’s, Chili’s and AppleBees. I don’t know if I will go back as there are so many other places to check off on my list but I would go back if any friends/family wanted to go. It was a great dining experience.

Ive been coming here since they opened and the wait was an hour. Ive tried most of the menu and drinks, all excellent. Service is great besides one waiter I nearly never get and isnt worth complaining over. The other day, during a routine visit, I order my usual and the bun had a touch of mold on it. I mean literally, it was smaller than a dime. Anyone with either half a brain or a touch of experience in the industry knows bread goes QUICK. No big deal. I took it off and ate the rest. I made the server aware who was quick to bring a manager in. She was beyond pleasant and offered a remake (after I ate the whole plate). I told her Im not complaining to get something out of it, I frequent the establishment and want them to do well. She thanked me and left. When we wrapped up, she came over and gave me a gift card for next time! How unnecessary yet so appreciated! Im thinking, "ok, $10 bucks maybe. still cool." I opened it up to reveal a $25 card! Now thats customer service! You took a happy, regular customer and made him into a die hard loyalist. Excellent business skills. On a more serious note... BRING BACK THE PICKLES AND PEPPERS

The drinks sucked and I always order the same drink when I go to different bars. So I know how my regular drink tastes in different venues. The manager Shannon was very rude. I over heard her talking about me to other customers and employees. My first drink was disgusting so I sent it back. MY second drink was even worse. I did not send it back. She told the bartenders to make sure they charge me no matter what. She was telling people that I did not know what I wanted and that I sent my drinks back for no reason. I did not appreciate the service nor the syrupy drinks. It is not worth the money.

Very good food and service. Ive never had a burger that wasnt awesome there. The food is reasonably priced, as well. While they have a nice selection of bourbon, I had to deduct a star for the serving size they use. I havent measured it out, but I feel like they use 1.25 ounces as their measure of a shot, when the actual serving size is 1.5 ounces. It may not sound like much, but it changes quite a bit. Their "three fingers," for instance, is nowhere near the amount that it should be. That being said, I will continue to go for the food, but will never order anything with spirits from them.

Today was me and my friends 1st time there everything was sooo good we were passing food back and forth so we both can try a lil of what the other had. If u like great food full of flavor u MUST GO. The garlic parmesan wings are so awesome the balance of garlic and parmesan was great not too much garlic not too much Parmesan just perfect. I had the burger flight it came with 3 different burgers and I dont know which burger it was but I took a bite of 1 of them and it was so good I was confused. Im not the type of person to comment on a place but this place I HIGHY RECOMMEND that u go.

We have come here a few times now, and Ive loved it each time. They focus on Burgers, Beer and Bourbon, so its a little unique. The burgers are amazing, high quality, unique, and the cost of a burger from Chilis. Totally worth it. The bourbon list is thorough. They have a great list of on tap beers, and their bottled list is long. Make sure you take advantage of sampling the beers on tap. They arent too expensive, and that isnt considering that the quality is higher than any chain restaurant around. You gotta come here at least once. Any fan of a burger will be right at home.

Great burgers and has a few non-burger dishes that are good. They make an awesome chocolate martini. Unfortunately some of their food has recently gone down hill. For example, the B-Cup used to be my favorite dessert but they are either letting their quality control slip or they changed the recipe. Either way, the B-Cup now is chewy and not in a good way. The onion rings have also gone down hill. I tried contacting their about this issue about a month and a half ago but received no response. Tried the B-Cup again today and its still disgustingly chewy.

Tried dinner 4 times, beer and snack once or twice. Forget dinner, period. Rare burger was uncooked, blue, and quivering. Some places think this is haute cuisine ... this was good ole-fashioned screw up. Asked for medium-rare since and have always gotten tree bark as my reward. As in bone dry. Heres the catch, the "rare" was also dry. Simply put, this is a chronic case of second rate ingredients in the hands of ham-fisted or otherwise overbooked staff. Everything else on the table is mediocre. Even the beer list.
