We found this place today by looking up restaurants in canton. We took a quick peak at the online menu and decided to go for it. Boy!!! So very glad we did. Not only was the food and service terrific. But the place was very interesting with its decor. It is kind of like retro at the same time very new aged in design. Anyone remember Pac-Man?? Look behind the round private booth there is an arcade game there. I never had fried mac and cheese before. OMG!! Was incredible!! Also had wings which were also as good. I am pretty much a Steak Connesuer. I ordered the NY Strip 1 lb. Medium rare. It was chared perfect the center was perfect as well. So well worth the $20.00. Out of the hundreds of steaks I have ever had. It is in my top five of best ever. The veggie was wilted spinach with garlic another OMG. Perfect!!. My other Half Had The Blue Plate Fish and Chips. Another Hit!!!. The only thing I have to say possibly negative was the waitress was a little forgetful. But not real bad. Her personality over came that by far. The only other thing is the Menu. It is one of the fullest menus I have ever seen 100s of eats.. A little overwhelming. Other than that Dis & Dat was perfect. Clean. And a very nice bar as well accompanied by an outdoor patio. Dont miss this place if in Canton. A blast from the past with ultra modern thrown in. We will definetly be going back many more times.

AWFUL. This was the worst experience ever. First the kids spaghetti i ordered were microwave overheat hat on the top and cold inside., i found something in the mash potatoes that looked like a peace of mold, i gave it to the waitress on a napkin who apologize for the fact and she took it to the manager who never came to face my complaint, till i asked to. When he came to my table he was the rudest people ever, i tried to let him know thats not the way to treat a customer and his answer was that if i wanted could tip or not the waitress and that i needed to leave the restaurant. DIS N DAT. AWFUL

Good spot for a family/friends meal if (a) youve got a big appetite, and (b) you catch them at a slightly off-peak time -- the staff-to-table ratio can be slightly off at times. Menu is tried and tested comfort foods, with the occasional weekly special item for interest, but the selling point is portions. Nothing rock-star incredible, but nothing youd find fault with. Fried green beans and hummus are our go-to apps, and the breakfast options dominate the selection. Not a ton of light/health-oriented options, but then again, its a diner at heart, right?

Weve been here a couple of times, and have always had a good experience here. There is an enormous selection of food here, and most of it is good, but not usually great. Theres a lot of good comfort food here. Your kids will definitely find something they like here. Service is friendly, the wait for your food is too bad,, but it does seem like it might be a little bit more expensive than what youd expect given the ambience of the place. Overall we like it and we will definitely keep going here.

Tried for the first time via takeout. My cobb salad was supposed to come with avocado, instead had mushy flavorless guacamole. If they told me they had no fresh avocado, I may have picked something else. My fiances philly cheese steak was mostly bread. Not at all what I was anticipating and with so many wonderful restaurants in the area its no surprise that they were dead at 1pm. The hostess was super friendly, the only nice part of the visit. Probably will not be back!

We just finished eating dinner; well at least I did. My friend ordered a burger which both tasted and smelled funny. After only a bite or two, it was reported to the server. The server did apologize and went to speak to the manager only to come back and let us know they grind their meat daily. Im sorry, but isnt the customer always right? Is it possible that the burger was made from a different grinded meat; possibly a previous day?!? We definitely will not be returning.

We went to a Sunday breakfast and while the food was good, it was rather expensive for the fare. The wait was ridiculous - it took at least 45 minutes to get our food after we placed our order. Lots of people seemed to be waiting a very long time as well. Atmosphere is nice, but seems a bit disjointed. It was clearly a high end restaurant dressed down as a diner. Strange mix.

As Im sitting here in the restaurant waiting to get my check after waiting for 15 min for a waitress to come over and acknowledge us, were leaving with more then half of our food on the plate. The ketchup that was on the table had turned and I had put it on my fries and all the waitress did was bring new ketchup? The food is less then mediocre and expensive .... Not worth it...

Our favorite weekly visit! The menu is better than any "diner" fare youll find, but not too pricey, and the service is quick, thorough and friendly, especially to the kids. The bar does great business on the other side, and its great to hear live music on weekends. Foodwise, the hummus is exceptional, the tomato soup is perfect, and the fried green beans are to die for!

The atmosphere was good and the waitress service fair. However i was quite dissapointed with the food. It was over cooked and lacked in flavor. The milk shakes there are awesome as you can add some zing to it with a little alcohol. Overall, great place to get some drinks. The menu is creative, but it sounds better than it tastes.

I was expecting more for a scratch kitchen, caesar salad was mediocre and dressing tasted like it came from a bottle. Waitstaff was average. The biggest disappointment was for the amount of time it took to receive our food after the order was placed. Longer than it should have for a slow Tuesday afternoon.

2nd time here .. first time 30 minutes before we got drinks .. 2nd time hair not on the food, but totally submerged in bbq sauce .. 3 feet of it. Gross .. overpriced, food is okay but equivalent to eating at McDonalds. I do NOT recommend..

Great food. Excellent drinks. Fun staff. Never had a bad meal, and I leave happy every time. Myles at the bar is particularly excellent, with a gift for odd drinks that sound crazy but taste great, and a fun sense of humor! GO HERE!

The happy hour is awesome, their sangria was fantastic. I order the lobster Mac N Cheese and was not disappointed. If you have the chance I would for sure try Dish N Dat, you will not be disappointed!

It was fine. The food was pretty good. Standard diner fare. The coffee was terrible. I prefer the Folgers they brew at work to the coffee at this place. Still, good food at a reasonable price.

I really like the 50s/60s theme that they have, but I have found that the food is underwhelming and overpriced. I dont think that Ill be going here again, unless its for dessert or the bar.

Unique menu and an interesting decor straight out of a 50s/60s diner! The burger was fantastic and the side selections were more varied than anywhere else. Well definitely be back!
