Walked in, and was met by a Guy at the Register with a bad attitude. He said he was the Manager. He looked as if he was ready to kill someone like he was mad at the world. I was seated and met by my waitress, who seemed very impatient with me and did not want to wait for me to look at the menu. I told her it was my first time in the restaurant and need a second to look at the menu. She said ok well I have others to wait on. She did come back in about 15mins and asked if I made up my mind. On the menu was a special with Sesame Chicken and Lo-Mein I told the waitress I wanted Sesame Beef, but instead of rice I would like the Lo-Mein that comes on the special. She stated cant do that. I said why not. She said Lo-Mein only on the special. To hard to make Lo-Mein for regular order. I said how can that be? you make it for special correct. She said yes but only for special. I said look I do not care how much it cost I want Sesame Beef, with a side of Lo-Mein. She sad no. I said ok then never mind I got up went to the register, and asked for the Manager. The Guy at the register said I am the manager. I told him I asked for Sesame Beef, and Lo-Mein, and he said we only make Lo-Mein for the special. Lo-Mein not come with Sesame Beef. I said I under stand I do not care how much it is I want Sesame Beef, and Lo-Mein. He said can not do it to hard make Lo-Mein. I said sir I am willing to pay for it separate no problem I will pay for regular Sesame Beef, and Lo-Main what ever the cost. He again said can not do Lo-Mein to hard. At that point I had enough. I then said as I was walkin out the door, How can it be any harder to cook Lo-Mein with Sesame Beef, than the cook Lo-Mein with Sesame Chicken I really just do not understand how that can be? Also how could you loose a sale that would have been the price of two entrees about $16.00 - $20.00 my estimate, and the loss of a first time customer? Oh well I left and went to a buffet down the street, and got what I wanted for half the price only $8.99

I have eaten at a lot of Chinese restaurants. It always seems to be the cleaner looking ones that get people sick. I find it odd, and this place is no exception. I strongly recommend against this place since both my friend and I got sick here. I will not be returning due to health concerns. With that being said, the food quality its self is not satisfying. This place falls under the issue of too much sweetness in their dishes. The basil chicken did not taste like basil chicken, more like boiled chicken bits covered in thickened sugar water. The peas and beef dish, which I understand will be on the sweeter side, was basically candied beef and vegetables. There was a drink call a volcano that I enjoyed and was fun. I did appreciate that. However due to the health risk, this place gets a 1 star. If it wasnt for health factors I would have given this place a 2 maybe 3. I will not be returning for a very long time and allow management to change if I do return.

I would go there regularly cause i loved their food but I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN EVER!!!!!!! I dined in with a friend one night for dinner and our waitress was rude to us the whole time! She was giving us dirty looks all night and then gave rude attitude towards us because we werent ready to order when she wanted to take it. Whenever we asked for a refill she would make a rude sigh, now keep in mind it was about 4:00 pm so they werent busy at all!. I refused to give her a tip for such awful service. After i she saw i signed the receipt she came right back to get it noticed there was no tip on the cc receipt and began to look around the table for a cash one n when she didnt find it she yelled and cussed at me and wouldnt stop and also threatened to charge my card anyway!!!! Also the owner did nothing about it! Now i understand they work for tip i was a waitress but if ur that rude u dont deserve one and thats obvious !!!!

I very rarely give five stars in a review. I make an exception for Heaven Dragon. When I moved to the area, friends were raving about this restaurant, and it didnt take long to find out why. The food is delicious, the portions more than sufficient*, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. The house special pan fried noodles are a favorite - a savory combination of spices, several delicious vegetables, meats and seafood. If you are looking for a hearty, stick-to-your-ribs dish, try it. The walnut shrimp are delicious - Ive never had better anywhere, and are so sweet that theyre almost a dessert. The general Tsos chicken and sesame chicken are sweet dishes, but not too sweet. Heaven Dragon makes these, and everything else they serve, just right. Definitely try the chefs special items. Nothing at Heaven Dragon will disappoint. *if you arent a big eater, remember, leftover Chinese food is delicious also!

This may be a little unfair, but if the 64th & Quaker location is any indication of the rest, I would wait until youve tried EVERYWHERE else. The management of this place are so CARELESS, I will never go back. The first sign of trouble was when we ordered a dish that didnt show with the rest of the order, so if you want to get everything you order, you probably need to point to the items on the menu. When we inquired about our missing dish, we were told by 2 different managers "its coming" and "chef is working on it". The place wasnt terribly busy, seemed like take-out is a priority for them. The REAL trouble came the next morning, when my wife started to feel sick. She said she hadnt felt right since about an hour after leaving the restaurant. Without going into too much detail, she was really, really sick. Gastro-intestinal sick. Really REALLY sick. And, as I said before, they SO dont care.

While visiting relatives here in Thornton, we decided to try this restaurant for takeout. To say it was disappointing is almost an understatement. Having eaten at Oriental restaurants all over the world, including Hong Kong and Singapore, we can say that the food, only fairly prepared, used mediocre ingredients. The Pad Thai was bland and practically inedible. The Vietnamese Spring rolls were overcooked and gummy with no flavor whatsoever. The only thing good about the Shrimp Lo Mien was the size of the shrimp which were, surprisingly, not over-cooked. Other than that, it was just over-cooked spaghetti in soy sauce. All in all, it was a very disappointing experience and we could not recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys real Oriental food and not the Americanized pablum hashed together for those who are not fortunate enough to know better.

Came in to order TO GO. Saw the OWNER sitting by the register, did not greet me, was not very friendly. After I had ordered, I sat to wait, he was insistent of my payment, I had no problem with that. He held the reciept down for me, as if looking to see if I would leave a Tip I did, although I felt they did not deserve it. No Hello, Thank you... I thought the food would make up for the terrible service, Ive enjoyed plenty of Heaven Dragon meals before. It was disappointing to say the least. I ordered Sesame Chicken and Pad Thai. Sesame chicken was old, had small portion of rice. Pad Thai had no flavor, I added my own soy sauce, lime, peanuts and more salt... Restaurant needs to take care of all customers, just cause you have pictures of Government on your wall does not mean you can perform this poor.
