My sister and I were visiting Denver and stumbled upon amazing reviews for Odyssey. The reviews were so good that I imagined our experienced couldnt quite be as great as the comments made it sound. Turns out it was exponentially better! This was the most incredible dining experience I have ever had. We were greeted by friendly staff, and as soon as the waiter, Rob, came to our table, he asked if we had been here before. We explained that we were from out of state, and he proceeded to give us all of the insiders info. He was the most charming man - funny, kind, and so warm. The food was outstanding, but honestly, it was the palpable feeling of family and friendship that made this a true experience. Ignacio, the head chef, visited our table to check on us, but he instantly made us feel like we were guests in his home and that our presence was a gift to him. As we were leaving, he stopped us and invited us back into the bar for a parting "gift." Over a glass of limoncello, he inquired about where we were from, what were we in town for, told us about his home town in Sicily, and introduced us to regulars who clearly had become friends. We left feeling like we were a part of their family. This place just exudes love and laughter. Ive never experienced anything quite like it. Incredible! Ill make the trip back to Denver just to see Ignacio and his amazing staff - and to eat his delicious food! Thank you for an incredible night!

This restaurant is in a league of its own. I love the family affair vibe that they have going on. I literally felt the most comfortable I have ever felt in a restaurant setting, like they had invited me to Sunday dinner with their Sicilian family. Their descriptions of the dishes was full of passion and adoration. The meal was heavenly delicious. I have never had Sicilian Rice Balls and now Im hooked. The Penne Rustica had the perfect combination of sweet and savory. The sparkling wine was a perfect match with the dish. We sat on the outside patio as the sun was setting. The weather definitely played nice, but it was the atmosphere that made for a charming evening. Chef Ignazio Mulei came out to an adjacent table to make Banana Foster for a young ladys birthday party. He included us and another table nearby in his presentation. He was quite engaging and magnetizing. One of the most personable chefs Ive ever had the pleasure of meeting. The Banana Foster shot out explosive flavor into the air and had I not been full, I think I would have ordered that for dessert. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant when visiting Denver. I think I may just make the drive just to have the experience again.

We went to Odyssey for a birthday dinner for my sister in law with some friends of ours and family, so we had a party of 6. This place is excellent! The service was spectacular, with helpful tips as to good things to get, and recommendations and attentive and fun service by the staff. Theyve got a pretty good wine list, with a good variety of wines, as well as a relatively large menu (especially with more and more restaurants going to a minimalist menu). I appreciated the options available, with a good selection of pastas and Italian specialties. We had the bruschetta and crab stuffed mushrooms to start, both of which were delicious!! For dinner, we had a variety of dishes. The fettuccine bolognese was spectacular, as was the spaghetti and meatballs, and the raviolis that a couple of people tried! We finished it off with some desserts to share, and had the chocolate cake and a chocolate cannoli. Both of which were wonderful! I definitely plan on coming back here at some point when Im in Denver, and highly recommend that you try it if youre ever in the neighborhood! Its fantastic!

We found this gem while on our way to another Italian joint which is literally right across the street. We spotted this old school looking building with outdoor seating and our original plans went right out the window. We had to try this place! I moved to Denver last August, my girlfriend and I are both total foodies and this is hands down the best dining experience I have had in Colorado. Lily our server offered a plethora of knowledge regarding the food, the restaurant and the family who owns it. You can taste the love in the food here. You can taste the fresh ingredients. Generous portions and as others have said the bread is SOOO GOOD! We highly recommend the Sausage and Peppers appetizer. We both had the penne rustica which was excellent and despite both being starving we still have leftovers for lunch today! Their coffee and dessert also did not disappoint. Thank you Lily for your outstanding service last night and Ignacio for the delicious food. We will be back!

We were a Party of 2. We had a 7:45 PM reservation. We checked in at 7:45 PM. They told us it would be a few minutes for our table to be ready. We said thats fine and we will go to the bar and have a drink while we wait. They said they would come get us when it was ready. We told the bartender the same. Our bar stools were literally 15 feet away from the hostess stand. We watched many others check in after us and get seated before us. Both hostesses would look over at us from time to time and acknowledge us. We would check in from time to time and a different person (bartender, hotesses, couple of different waiters, and the owner), each time would tell us not too much longer. We were finally seated at 9:30 PM. The food was ok, had better a chain restaurants. I really wanted to like this place. Great setting in a old house in Denver, people were friendly, but cant wait almost 2 hours for a table with a reservation for a simple table for 2

The BEST place to eat in Denver I took an old Veteran friend out to dinner tonight he is Very particular about where he eats I knew that he would give this restaurant 5 stars and I was right as soon as we was walking up to the entrence he said wow it smells good when we walked in he was impressed. He order his drink and it was outstanding the sausage and peppers was got and fabulous. Our waiter Andrea was awesome he knew the menue and well spoken Roy was truly impressed by him. But what put the cork in it was when his food came out Roy order the Atlantic Cod dish it looked delish the plate was hot thats a big thing for Roy his food was hot and yes all he kept stating was umm umm this is wonderful. I had the meatball and spaghetti I could never get enough it, it was so much I couldnt finish it. Thank you to everyone that made Roys evening a joyful one. I will continue to go back to Odyessey and Roy stated that he cant wait to go back.

Service 2 Food 3 Not worth it. The layout is cramped. The staff was disorganized. Food portions were ok, quality and presentaion were so so. I went here for my bday. We made a reservation and arrived 5-10 minutes early, after waiting over 40 minutes for our table we were told they gave our table away. When we were finally seated in a hot cramped room upstairs things went slow but smooth until dessert when we waited for about 20 minutes after our dinner plates were cleared then we were told that some guy forgot to bring it. I felt so tired of being there at that point, I was starting to feel trapped. Didnt ever end up getting a dessert because I wanted get out of there. Over all a waste of time and a waste of over $120.
