My wife and I have done takeout from the place multiple times. Last night will be our last. They just recently increased their prices which are already too high for the quality of food and quantity. We had two entrees and a salad. Total cost was $50 dollars and some change. One entree was $19 dollars for one little piece of the Beef Bolognese Lasagna, which had the smallest quantity of beef. Their marinara sauces is weak too. It seams like it came out of a can. This place is highway robbery. I wish I would have taken pictures, but I was so hungry after my mountain bike that I was forced to eat it. The only highlight was their little bread balls that came free with the entree. Shame on this place, and I wish I could give zero stars.

We just enjoyed our first dinner at Colore and were overly impressed. The atmosphere and staff were all nice and welcoming, while not feeling overly formal. Our server Erik was knowledgeable and as accommodating as can be, and made some unbeatable recommendations. The food was fantastic! We had the mussels and burrata for apps, and split a calzone for dinner. It was all delicious, but the best part was the peach bread pudding.... it could not have been better! We will definitely be returning, and will probably soon be able to call Colore one of our regular spots.

pleasant atmosphere, service people got it right most of the time. Water carafe was warm. generally good quality food but portion size was unimpressive. Im not sure why restaurants jip people on food since , in this caselectronic , price was certainly high enough to give a decent portion and they make their money on the wine anyway. 1 glass average sauvignon blanc was 10.... I would probably not return because there are many better deals out there.

I took a date here and the staff was so wonderful. We were taken care of from the time that we walked in the door to the time that we left. The food was delicious, we shared the Vegetable Pizza. The crust was light and crispy, the vegies were cooked perfectly. I would have to say that the date was a totl success because of this restaurant. Thank you Colore, I am sure that we will be back.

Overpriced. Small portions. Servers seemed confused as 3 different people kept stopping at our table asking the same questions. Had to ask for bread. Waited 15 minutes. Finished our meals before the bread arrived. Drink sat empty the entire meal. Server spilled on my girlfriend when she brought the check. This is basically an overpriced Fazolis without bread and confused servers.

Very good Italian food and great people / environment. Every time I go there is never a wait and the owner usually greets the table as well. The only reason I give it a four star and not a five star was because having been in the food service industry myself I feel like their servers are slightly under trained but overall great food and good experience.

Our favorite restaurant of all time! Not only is the food the very best, the service has been impressive every single time we go there. They make everything so personal and really treat you like family. The whole menu is amazing, but we keep coming back to the lobster ravioli; its to die for. Portion size is perfect and wine list is great too.

The menu looks amazing with plentiful high end ingredients; however, the potato soup, NY steak, sea bass, gnocci, and french fries were all lacking the finesse of sear and flavor. Service was attentive. Should we give it another chance? Hard to say since I know so many other amazing Italian restaurants.

If I could rate this place 4.5 out of 5, I would. So Im rounding up. Fantastic value at Colore, good food, relaxed but classy ambiance. Not a "top flight" Italian place but definitely close, and no where near "top flight" prices. Had the Mussels Fre Diavolo and Ive been craving it all week.

Perfect mix of casual & elegant. The owners here know what theyre doing. This place has it all. Its nice enough for a date, but casual enough where you dont feel like a shulb in jeans. Its the same with the menu. The quality is excellent and the pricing is more than fair. Great spot.

One of our favorite dinner restaurants. The food, drink, service, atmosphere are all very enjoyable. It is just a few feet away from Swallow Hill music venue, which makes it the perfect place for a pre-concert dinner. Be sure to try the desserts. Peach Bread Pudding is excellent.

Yumm! Calore Restaurant at S. Broadway & Yale is consistently a fine value: pleasant venue, delicious food, good service, and great drinks and wine list. It is a neighborhood favorite. The owner is there most of the time, assuring guests are enjoying the admosphere and food!

Colore is amazing. We stopped in for lunch and were surprised at this brilliant little nugget of italian deliciousness. The atmosphere is very clean and updated. The service is excellent. We are ordering dessert right now and Im soooo excited! We will be back!

We have been a few times for brunch. The bottomless mimosas deal is one of the best! Service has been inconsistent even when it is not very busy. The eggs bennys are my favorite thing on the menu!
