I order pick up at Grand China a lot, so I cant vouch for the dine-in experience. The ambiance of the restaurant is relaxing, and enjoyable. I frequently see families eating dinner at night, so it must be an enjoyable place to eat. This review is for diners who order pick-up here. Grand China has a great selection of soups that order often, the fish hot and sour soup is my favorite. The soup is loaded with fish, and vegies, and its definitely worth ordering. There are a lot of common items such as sesame and orange chicken that I like. I usually order the Vietnamese noodle bowl, and the lighter Vietnamese items on the menus like Singapore chicken if you like curry. Im not fond of brown sauce dishes, but their appetizer menu is really good. The restaurant makes their food fresh, and the fact that this restaurant is popular; the wait time for pick-up orders may be longer. Ask to see if the restaurant is busy, when they are not busy 15- 20 minutes is a good wait time. If they are busy, expect 20-30+ minutes for pick-up orders. Some orders may take longer to cook so I would ask over the phone before going in for a long wait.

We came to Grand China due to the overall reviews. I can hardly agree with these reviews in the least. The won ton soup had no flavor and the wontons tasted like thick under done dough. This seemed to be the theme for their food. The crab Rangoon was so thick and tough as well. The beef was excessively fatty and the rice.......worst let down of the night! Its just expect when you go to a Chinese restaurant youre going to get that yummy sticky rice. What we got was constant to Minute rice. The servers were very inattentive and we had to track them down to get water. I wont be coming back for more.

Horrible customer service...worst experience. Ordered food for delivery. Said it would take 45 minutes to an hour. After 2 1/2 hours, several calls where they several times insisted the food was a few minutes away, they finally admitted they misplaced our order and told us it would be another 30 minutes. 3 hours is TOO LONG to wait. Only when we canceled the order did we get an apology and a lame attempt to offer us some sort of discount (only in order to save the order). Thank you Peters Chinese Kitchen for saving us from starving. Grand China...good luck staying in business...

This place sucks. Last time I ordered it took twice as long to prepare as they said it would. This time I ordered the chicken egg foo young. Nothing about what I got is egg foo young. When I called back, she said this is how they cook their egg foo young, and if I look under the chicken and vegetables I would find the egg foo young. I dont know what this is, but theres no taste and its certainly not egg foo young. Terrible service, terrible food.

Grand China is..........well, for poor people. The place looks like a dump, the service is crappy as expected, and the food is decent at best (sorry if some readers dont know the difference). There is far better Chinese joints out there though and in the area, many other options, and still better if the person is on a budget. Definitely will not be going back here or ordering from here. I live in the area also, so very disappointing.

ordered the sesame chicken, fried rice and egg rolls. order took over an hour for delivery and I am about a mile away from restaurant. The food is tasty, unfortunately it was cold when i received it. I called and they did offer to refire the food and redeliver, but it took too long to begin with.2 starts because its edible, and management was nice, but it took way too long to get to me. also, they dont have duck sauce, fyi

Would love to like this place, but the customer service here is so terrible that its hard to stomach the food. You might be best served by seeking delivery, but dont ever complain or question lateness, wrong items, or quality, or youll get a death stare and a terrible experience. I know its cheap Chinese food, but at least it could be served with some human decency.

Visiting Denver for the first time and this place came up on the food search. Definitely lives up to the star rating. Ordered a Shrimp Fried Rice- Extra Spicy. Plenty of Shrimp added to the rice. Just enough vegetables. Not too much soy sauce. Could have had more spice. Only paid 8.91 with tax and theres enough to have two full meals. So all in all a great meal deal.

I order from here a few times a month. The food is always delicious and delivery is usually always sooner then expected. Only issue is almost every time there is a mess up with my order. One time egg rolls never got delivered. Today the veggies were without sauce and I ordered steamed rice but got fried. Minor issues but the food is amazing!!

Ordered food tonight at 8:15pm and was told it would be here in 45 mins to 1 hour. After an hour and 15 mins, I called to find out where it was. No answer. And the message box is full. Now, I have to go cancel the credit card order. Never had a delivery service no show before. Very upsetting.

Food was really good! The pu-pu platter was great, esp liked the chicken and beef. Egg drop soup was so-so, not bad. My only complaint is that delivery took a lot longer than it was supposed to, but it is a Sunday night and they were one of the few places open so understandable. Would go back

Everything youd expect of a good Chinese restaurant at very reasonable prices. All members of staff are friendly and their chefs are on point. I often go for their lunch special with my order taken as I sit down and the food on the table within a couple minutes. Highly recommended!

Looks meh on the outside compared to the inside. Upscale furnishings everywhere. Kung Paso chicken wasnt very spicy but was very good. Sesame seed chicken is excellent as well as the soups.

If you bite the orange peel while eating the orange chicken. Gawd like bust of orangie goodness exploded in your mouth. And the pan fried noodles come out sizzling hot! Literally.
