Food is EXCELLENT, but can be gone in the blink of an eye. I ordered the 3 Meat combo--I chose Spicy sausage, ribs, and sliced brisket with Mac n cheese as my side. I added collard greens as a 2nd side. And I chose both Carolina bbq sauce and Kansas City style. The Place is small, but quiet. Now, I gave 4 stars instead of 5 BECAUSE of the collard greens and biscuits. Growing up in the Deep South greens are apart of daily life...the stems should almost ALWAYS be cut. They were cooked thoroughly, but collards should be cut multiple times and stems cut out, PERIOD, otherwise theyre uncomfortable to eat. And they should be seasoned and easily cooked with either bacon, ham hocks, or some shank. Now, the biscuit is unfortunately part of the combo. Corn bread is preferable and complements the food perfectly, and is nowhere near as dry as biscuits. THATS soul food!!! But, so far so good though. This place has promise.

Its a small neighborhood eatery with big dreams. Well, at least the way in which the owner tries to source locally and organic as much as possible, it helps that the food there is very tasty as well. They even have an awesome selection of fountain drinks provided through a Fountain Soda machine from Boylan Bottling Company. The cafe and the soda company share the same mission of providing quality products of which I am thankful for and appreciate. My understanding is that the menu is not static but rather changes with the seasons (dynamic). This keeps costs down for the cafe and that is passed on to the consumer. I rather like that kind of variety in a restaurant and it stays true to buying things as local as possible. They offer plenty for the varied diet and do well with each food item, tasty all around. I cannot wait to visit again and try some other offerings.

The pulled pork was great, barbecued to perfection, tender, smoky, and juicy. Served very simply on paper on a tray. Add your choice of KC-style, Memphis-style, or Carolina-style sauce (spicy or sweet) from a squeeze bottle at your table - could not be better! The place is a bit hipsterish, with an intentionally rundown "storefront" atmosphere (old re-used tables and chairs for example, and plywood counters) that must be intended to make it look authentic, but I’m pretty sure they didnt just move from KC to Denver. Very convenient to walk to from the medical complex on Franklin, if you happen to be visiting someone in the hospital, and have had enough of the hospital cafeteria service. Or if you are in the hospital, send your visitors over to this place to pick up your takeaway order. Your doctor will approve.

Five stars. Despite the lack of ambience, this little BBQ place serves up some intense and juicy BBQ. The owner Dave jumped out of corporate America and into the world of food, bringing with him some hidden secrets from Kansas City. Youll be pleased to hear that everything is made in house and all his meat is from Colorado. So goodbye foreign meat and hello native game. Im sure once a tv show makes this hidden gem public, the walls might become a lil more dressed with flare. Until then, just keep your eyes on the meat. Five stars kitchen table.

Ive been meaning to come here for a while now, and Ive gotta say...this place is just perfect in every way. Im vegetarian and got the side sampler with their rasta corn, mac-n-cheese, dilled cucumbers & kale salad. Everything was delicious! I take my comfort food seriously, and they hit the mark here on all fronts: atmosphere (small & quaint) taste/high quality of food & ingredients, reasonable pricing, friendliness of staff. I would highly recommend to anyone near and far!

Absolutely delicious food, friendly owner, and a great change from the typical restaurant genres. The ingredients are locally sourced when possible and are all high quality, and the flavors in all of the dishes we tried were superb. Also, dessert can be included as a side dish! Tip: you may want to get there early or call ahead before you go, because some dishes sell out before the end of the day.

Amazing comfort food & awesome service. So good I couldnt stop to take a photo and I cleaned my plate. The owner is super helpful if you have food allergies or preferences. There are quite a few gluten-free and vegetarian options. My waist-line is in trouble because this spot is definitely going to be in the rotation. It doesnt get better than slow cooked BBQ made with love.

Kitchen Table has delicious BBQ- some of the best in Denver. Their meats are delicious and there are a variety of sides including 2 salads and dessert options. Very much comfort food. They also have unique soft drink flavors. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I appreciate no or low waste businesses and this one does use disposable utensils and containers for serving.

This little restaurant was amazing. With a unique set of Agave sodas with no artificial colors and a generous helping of pulled pork, and a long list of sides, including a seasonal Palisade peach crumble, I plan to go back when I am in Denver. The Black Cherry soda was perfect. And the service was friendly too.

Absolutely love this place. I was impressed on the place it was cleaned and comfy. I loved their fried chicken and mac N cheese. Everything is all natural even for soda and other drinks. Service is fast and food is reasonably priced. This place really satisfies. Visit this place, you will not be disappointed.

Trying to be real here.. Salt and pepper?? Atmosphere was uncomfortable. Sad Death Cab sitting with strangers was miserable. Dont be stingy with the scooper please, tacky. No biscuits means dont charge for drink, tacky. Meatloaf was in sauce of sugar tomato water. Meh

Love that everything is local, fresh, and environmentally friendly. I didnt like how the majority of the food I ordered was over done with pepper. The biscuit, chicken, and mashed potatoes had pepper. I should have had the brisket, it didnt have as much pepper.

Good, down home comfort food that is made from scratch with only the best and freshest of ingredients. I personally love the burnt ends! The owner is very friendly and gets to know his customers. He also takes pride in his food and will only serve the best.

Went here on a recommendation from a local and was not disappointed. These guys do it right. Went back every day they were open. Go for the fried chicken. Stay for the brisket. Also won major points for being super accommodating with a dairy sensitivity.

Went after seeing an add, so my wife and I went. By far some of the best BBQ out there! Lucky us the weather was crappy otherwise the selection would have been slim. Awesome food! The service was outstanding and super inviting! We will be going back!

Make sure to arrive early so you dont miss out on your favorite food as they do run out throughout the day. The burnt ends are my favorite but the chicken and pulled pork are close tied for second. If you see the chocolate cookie butter pie get it!

Home style cooking that makes you want more! Great owner, operator, and chef. Dave will come out and talk with you about the food and why its so damn good. Do yourself a favor and get over there and try the brisket or the stuffed poblanos!

This is by far, hands down, the best BBQ I have ever had. The burnt needs are insane! And the buffalo sausage is delicious! Their homemade dressings and sauces are great. I cant wait to go back and take friends with me.
