This was our first time trying hot pot. My husband and I have a large group of friends who are Japanese/Chinese/Korean, so we trust them on the lay of the land when it comes to new cuisine. While we were seated promptly, we had to wait 45 minutes (??) Just for some glasses of water and hot pot menus, after one of the people we were with hunted our server down. THEN, we waiting an additional HOUR just for our food. It was delicious and an interesting experience, but the wait times to be attended to were just silly and loses them lots of points. There were 4 other tables, and while its a small place, this wasnt crazy busy. There were only 2 ladies working the floor and must have only been a couple chefs working. The food was authentic but they need more staff! One of my Asian friends explained to me its definitely part of their culture for things to take longer and meals but be drawn out, but wow. We arrived at 6:45 and left at 9:15. Not the place to go if you have plans afterward. That being said , the staff was very nice even though you could tell they were super stressed. And an additional star for wonderful hot pot and authentic food.

We live less than a mile away, and after waiting an hour for our food to show up we called and were told that the delivery driver got in a car accident and another one had ALREADY been sent out to collect our food to deliver it to us. We felt bad, but after waiting another hour and still no word from them we called and after some argument got them to simply refund our money because our food (if it was the original food) would have been unsafe to eat since the delivery took so long. I work in the food service industry, and it horrifies me that they still intended on serving us food that had been in the "danger zone" for two hours or more (since we have no idea when the food would have shown up). I sympathize that things happen, but we live literally within walking distance - and it should not have taken two hours, despite the circumstances - and they DEFINITELY should not have tried to serve us the original meal. I will never eat here, because I will never trust their kitchen safety after that.

This is a go-to place in the tech center. Good value and decent Chinese, certainly leaps beyond the chains like Panda. Im not a great resource because Ive found my dish, and havent branched out - jalapeno chicken. Its a nice mix of veggies and chicken, with some spice - but not really that hot. Lunch value is phenomenal - entree, soup, rangoon, and egg roll, included. Not sure the dinner menu is such a good value, but lunch is solid. I think the menu has some good variety, but Im just too set in my ways to branch out. However, I often see Asian folks ordering awesome looking dishes - I just need guidance. And this is really the only down side, the staff isnt particularly friendly or welcoming. They are there doing their jobs, but arent really about making it a place you want to come back. If the food wasnt so good and such a good value, I wouldnt go. But, I like the joint and I can put up with the social limitation because Im happy with what I order.

This is the worst place to get delivery from. Find another Chinese food delivery restaurant for those who work in DTC and need a reliable delivery place. Took 2 hours first try, 2nd & 3rd times ordered shrimp got chicken only and was given chicken instead of tofu....the lady on the phone argued back and said she repeated the order. I confirmed cause I couldnt understand anyway. Using the credit today that they owed us only to find out an hour later that the driver cant find our building and to come pick it up and still had to pay for cold general taos chicken thats soggy. Best part we beat the driver to the restaurant and had to wait for him. Shut this place down. My parents owned a Chinese restaurant so this is not acceptable!!

Be aware of the reviews complaining about customer service or delivery times. Let me give you a reason why. The food here is amazing, which is why it was featured in the Colorados magazine. Unfortunately, the resteraunt is understaffed and unable to handle such a great influx of customers. So if you are planning to enjoy this resteraunts food, be aware that you may or may not be served in a timely fashion. That is just reality for an understaffed popular resteraunt. You were forewarned, so just be mindful of your choice and do not go around complaining about the quality of this resteraunt. Does the fault lie on the resteraunt owners? It could be debated. Nevertheless, just be mindful of your choice to come here. Cheers.

I have been going to and ordering delivery from here for over 3 years with no issues and very much enjoyed the food and service. Tonight we called and ordered for delivery, one of the items we ordered was sweet and sour ribs. The ribs were never delivered and when I called to inquire about the ribs they said they were out. I asked why they didnt tell us that at the time of the the order they hung up on me. I called back to see if there was another option and ask why they didnt tell us that at the time of order I was hung up on. I called back and asked to speak to the manager and was hung up on. I will NEVER go back to this restaurant for any reason and do not recommend it to anyone!

My girlfriend and I wanted to try something new. We tried the salt and pepper ribs and the kung pao shrimp. There were many bones and every piece was very tough, or filled with grissel of the ribs. The fried rice was absolutely terrible. I mean, how can you mess up fried rice? There were no peas, carrots, or onion in the rice and barely any egg. The miso soup was miso terrible. Extremely watered down with no flavor. Decor of the place was okay, but found a roach and happened to kill it. Waiting service was nice, but did almost mess up the order. Overall, I gave a star for the decor and the wait staff, but we will not be returning to this place.

Staying in a hotel for business & called Blue Ocean for delivery. Waited over 45 minutes for my food & called the restaurant; they said driver was on the way. Forty-five minutes later & still no driver. I called restaurant again and whoever answered the phone said my hotel did not exist & she cancelled the order. Twenty minutes later (2 hours after I called) my food showed up &the driver was irate when I refused the order. This place is seriously messed up.

I order here regularly and I gotta say, I have never been disappointed with this place. The food is great and exactly what I want and the staff is friendly. I can never be upset when they arrive a little late when they deliver when they are busy; they remain courteous and friendly. Usually their deliveries arrive ahead of their estimate! Joey S and his boyfriend are probably vegan and typed their review with one of those type writer widgets on their ipad.
