I havent ate here in years, I moved away from Denver about 5 years ago. My brother was up there in March and ate there and he said its still as good as it use to be. We use to order this all the time when I lived in Denver and in the past 5 years that I have been away I have yet to find anything close to the flavors of Sun Wah. I compare all chinese food that I try to this place and can not find anything close. I think I need to move back to Denver for good chinese and Chipotle (cant find those either where I live now). Anyways just thought I would let all the people in Denver know this is an awesome place to eat for chinese food take-out. I just ate at a place here and it was horrible and only made me think of Sun Wah.

I love this place. Ive tried several things, my favorites being the lo mein and Hunan beef. The only thing I wasnt a fan of was the Singapore noodles, only because I dont really like curry and didnt know thats what it was. The hot and sour soup is also fantastic, as are the egg rolls. Usually crab cheese wontons are my favorite thing at a Chinese place, but here theyre not the best. Doesnt matter though, the main dishes are so good I can live without them. So far every dish Ive tried is solid, the chicken is white meat quality chicken, and the beef is super tender. My go to Chinese spot.

Excellent Chinese food for a reasonable price! The food is excellent, my friends and i have ordered beef fried rice, kung pao chicken, pepper steak, sweet and sour pork, egg rolls and much more. We loved all of it! We requested delivery one night, they said theyd be at our apartment in 45 minutes, and they actually were here in exactly 28 min from the time i called! Overall, were very happy with this restaurant and will be making it our weekly Chinese food spot!

I loved this place until tonight when I ordered my usual kung pao chicken and received some gross orange chicken scraps with spicy chili tossed on top. I called asking if I could go get it replaced and was called a liar. She said well next time know what youre ordering beforehand and I said im a repeat customer to which she said no you arent and argued with me relentlessly. Worst service and food of my life!

I dont usually even write reviews but feel i have to warn people, i just had hands down the worst Chinese food ive ever had in my life. Felt like everything was left over from day before and overcooked in the first place. Half the meat had a rubbery texture and flavor was off on everything even before they reheated it for me. If u read this and still go, dont say i didnt warn you.

Chinese take-out is so delicious here! Their food is always on point. Im always excited when the food comes bc its always hot and fresh. I wish delivery was a bit faster but other than that, (my ultimate fave dish) Combo Lo Mien is FILLED w meat and veggies! Always consistently good and worth the wait. I definitely recommend this place! ^^ ~

Ive been living in Denver now for close to 4 years and Sun Wah is my favorite place for Chinese. They are quick, the food is delicious, although a bit overpriced hence 4 Starts instead of 5. I wish they would update their online site as well. Definitely recommend for anyone who is looking for good hole in the wall Chinese food.

This is my favorite "standard" Chinese food. When I at standard I mean its not a fancy shmancy joint, but a awesome hole in the wall! The lunch special is always plentiful and delicious plus the employees and owners are nothing short of sweet and welcoming! Look no further for lunch or dinner, Sun Wah has you covered!

Not a bad place for some Chinese food. Only thing I would complain about is how they give little to no meat but a crap ton of vegtables. Every time I order from there I have to ask for lite vegtables and extra meat. But Im sure theyre not giving out any extra meat. Even if they are charging you for it.

It was okay. I had the Schezuan Beef and there really was not a lot of beef in it. The Vietnamese egg rolls were okay. Not a fan of the sauce served with it. My husband had Shrimp with mixed vegetables. He said it was okay. Nothing special. Service was great! Drink is included in the price.

Really good food. They dont have anything with tofu on the menu, yet when I asked them if they could do something with tofu, they told me they would do anything on the menu with tofu for me. Really nice people. Cooked it super fast.

Had the orange chicken, it was not good. Chicken was of poor quality, over cooked, and the sauce was terrible. Prices on the online menu are out of date, add about a buck-fifty to two dollars to each item and its about right.

I have been eating there for 15 years . they have the best kung pao shrimp I have ever had in Colorado .I love the pork egg rolls .their lo me in is very good too. I highly recommend them .

The sesame chicken was gross, and the egg rolls were downright inedible. Tried to call to discuss with them and got hung up on. Wouldnt recommend. Try literally anywhere else.

This is our go-to place. They are fast and have a lot of options. The only bad plate I have had was the pad Thai. The jalapeno chicken is awesome!
