China Jade is the best Chinese food I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. I eat there frequently and while there are some quirks with service and wait times, the food is absolutely incredible and worth any minor quibbles I might have. Their recent renovations have doubled the size of the restaurant and improved the decor significantly from the previous ragged-hole-in-the-corner look they had going before 2013. Be sure to try several items from their authentic Chinese menu before you settle on a typical bastardized American dish and leave underwhelmed from high expectations based on reviews youve read. The raving reviews are mostly for the real Chinese dishes. There are a wide range of dishes served which can fit to the tastes of most people. If you try something you dont like on your first visit, give China Jade another chance or two with something different; youll be glad you did when you find a dish you like! My favorite three dishes are Hunan Chili Pepper Pork, Shredded Pork in Garlic Sauce, and Spicy Boiled Beef Slices. And theres a whole lot more! Anyone who claims theyd rather eat Panda Express doesnt have any business writing reviews about food. Stick to your fast food junk, China Jade is the real deal!

This is by far my favorite Chinese Restaurant in Colorado! I am Chinese and I especially love Sichuanese food, but most of the Chinese restaurants here did a disappointing job when it comes to Sichuanese dishes. I would have never paid attention to this small place should I havent read about this restaurant on a Chinese internet forum. Mr. Li (the chef) works wonders! I particularly love shuizhuyu, mao xuewang, gongbao jiding, yuxiang rousi, and yanbao dusi...The service is great, too. I brought my American friends there and they immediately fell in love with the food...My only complaint is that they only got one chef and the place is really small, so you might have to wait if you go there during the weekend. Sad thing I am about to leave Colorado. I should miss the food at China Jade very very much!!!

Decided to try out the place due to good reviews. I ordered my younger brothers favorite, sesame chicken, which is pretty darn hard to mess up. Its a five minute drive to my house and the chicken breading was dreadfully soggy. None of it was crispy at all and there wasnt enough sauce to even cover everything. Business was slow in there when I arrived, so they werent rushed or anything. Based on the sauce spatter I see on the lid, Ill conclude that this chicken was most likely reheated using a microwave. Wish I had a better experience - but this will be my first and last with them. 11 dollars for a container of microwaved chicken and some rice is pretty bad.

My SO and I are small eaters and asian restaurants are infamous for large portions. Once we sat down to one of the tables and quickly ordered the $15 crispy duck. The waiter/owner brings tells me thats not enough, at first I thought he was kidding, but his stony face said otherwise. We order an appetizer of wantons and await the delicious duck (the waiter did not speak to us for the remainder of the meal). Instead, we get room temperature rice and a crispy/bony bird. Im afraid we could have done just as well with this dish (which isnt saying much). We always enjoy local restaurants, but will leave this one off the menu next time.

We went ordered here pretty late. Around 8:30. I thought this wasnt terribly late sense there times say they are open until 10. However it seemed like we got the last bits of whatever they had last. In total we got general toas, sesame and sweet and sour chicken. The general and sesame were soggy and flavorless. The only thing you can taste is the red pepper flakes. The meat of the chicken was also very poor. We think it was only this way because it was at the end of the day but I will not be willing to give them another try.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I cant even explain how incredible the food is in words. It was my first time dining there last night and everything was unbelievably delicious and the service was so wonderful! Having had Indian food in many different cities...Monsoon is hands down the absolute best. I dont think Ill ever be able to eat Indian anywhere else besides this place. I live in LA but this place is my new "must have" every time I come back to Denver to visit. Im already craving it again! The Masala Sauce is pure gold! YUM!

Neat Chinese restaurant with seemingly authentic dishes. I particularly like the fish in the loads of sauce. They used sichuan pepper in it and I got to experience that unique sensations it causes, not for everyone, but pretty neat in my opinion. We also got their peppers and chicken and that was great too, perhaps they could hold back from half the dish being the dried red peppers, but if thats what gives it flavor, so be it. The place is clean but the servers could be more attentive.

Staff couldnt speak English and wasnt able to answer what their "mixed vegetables" consist of. I took a chance, and they brought out a pile of slimy cabbage and celery. The chicken was also slimy, flavorless and covered in fat. The crab wontons had no crab. The waitress was nice but the waiter seemed to have no regard for the American customers. The eggdrop was delicious but very greasy. The price was definitely not cheap. Not worth coming back.

Not sure why some people are complaining about service and staff friendliness. Maybe you should rate yourselves. For more top notch Szechwanese food than you can eat at lunch for less than the price of a Big Mac, this is the place. The owner and staff could not be friendlier. Non-Chinese usually a minority, which is the main thing I look for in an ethnic restaurant. Try walking in with a smile next time...I certainly walked out with one!

My fiancée and I go there about twice a month and the food is always beyond fantastic. Its like a millennium party in your mouth. No seriously, youll never look at panda express the same again. And I like panda express but China Jade is amazing. Portions are huge, its inexpensive and the people are always friendly. Just watch out for the random two week sabbatical they take to go back to china.

I think there food is soo yummy!!! I go there at least once a week. I like to always get the orange chicken lunch special. Sometimes the student deal because I pass as a student ( only 5 dollars!) Anyways they barley speak English so I cant ever ask them any questions about there different food and things. But Ive never had Chinese like theirs so Im not letting there rudeness get to me : )

we went really late. I wish they had told us the kitchen was closed. We ordered wonton soup, it had no flavor and the dumplings seemed to have been soaking for hours. Then, we ordered more stuff. They told us there was no more white rice. We went with fried rice. They just gave us rice mixed with soy sauce. No vegetables what so ever. Awful taste. We are never going back..

The best southwest Chinese food Ive found in Denver. The menu is comparatively smaller than most Chinese restaurants of its caliber, which allows the restaurant to only server good food. Highly recommend the TianJin buns. I can only recommend the restaurant for its food, and not its service. They are very friendly but the language/cultural barrier is strong.
