We went here for our wedding anniversary. We were too lazy to go out to buy steak meat so my husband thought, sushi rolls would be a nice partner to the bottle of Perrier Jouet that we saved for this day. Unfortunately, they wouldnt let us bring in our own drink so we decided to have a few sips at home and went back to the restaurant. We ordered their Bora Bora Sashimi, the BTS Unagi Roll, Mariko Roll, Baked Mussels and Green Tea ice cream. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. We enjoyed the hospitality of the lady server and the very accommodating Thai chef. Weve been in this part of Greater LA for six months now but we never thought that Foothill Blvd will have an amazing Japanese Restaurant (considering the shabby environment its in). Its simple and the setting is low-key but the ambiance is perfect for dining out. We will be back definitely. It can get a little pricey but its all worth it.

I have been coming here for years. The service is always excellent, the food wonderful, the birthday celebrations hilarious and the vibe happy. The parking can be a challenge. This is the only restaurant I eat at out here. They are very health conscious and make sure the food is meticulously prepared. My family loves them too!

Tori Yen is such a marvel, hidden in a tiny shopping center in the middle of Tujunga. They make every customer feel like family, and their food is excellent. They also go out of their way to make your birthday a fun experience, complete with funny nose glasses. I highly recommend paying them a visit.

Mariko-san is absolutely the best. I come here when I want to have down home Japanese cooking. Take it from me, I was born in Japan and this is real good. You would get the same great food in a little local eatery in Kamakura. Love you guys!

Food and service are pretty good but Im not sure the price was justified, it was nothing mind blowing. If I have that much money to spend at a restaurant again I think Id rather go somewhere else.

Always a very pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Food is prepared in a timely manner and tastes delightful. I recommend it to people who visit my town, as well as their ice cream on a hot day.
