good, but not great sushi. very conveniently located for me so I come here often and its consistently satisfying, with fast and friendly service. favorites are the veggie tempura hand roll (pictured, only $4.50) and salmon sushi (always like butter, I believe $4.25). most of their "fancy" rolls are just California rolls with fresh fish on top, for $10+ so I usually stick to a few cheaper options instead here. they have a parking lot and a happy hour menu but its nothing too much cheaper than their normal prices.

After the closing of Shaab, an authentic Japanese restaurant in Pasadena, I finally found a very good authentic Japanese restaurant close to my home in Eagle Rock. Everything they have is fresh and tasty. Today, I loved their sashimi and fresh oysters and my wife and daughter just relished the tempura and beef yakisoba. A place to go regularly when feeling to have a good Japanese meal.

A member at our business told us about this place. Great Japanese food and friendly service. Cant remember the name of my dish. It was a large bowl of noodles, cabbage, green onions, fishcakes, tofu, and pork, all mixed together with a tasty broth. So good! Definitely trying the sushi next time.

Chicken katsu curry : sauce mildly spicy but slightly salty. Otherwise, its salad and rice are like other Japanese katsu curry rice in the Los Angeles area.
