Their service is really bad. We ordered some more items (meat) MIDDLE of our dinner and had to wait for over 25mins.Other waitress told us its been 26min. since the order was in but our waitress is the only one can bring them out. Basically we stopped eating and waiting for our order. Meantime, our waitress was cooking meat for another table for at least 10mins. How do I know? I was watching her. Never acknowledged that our order and how long. The waitress never apologize even after we addressed the matter to other wait persons. Most embarrassing moment because we invited my husbands bosses and co-workers who are on business trip enjoy KOREAN STYLE food. Our 1st try wasnt that great but decided to try again. NEVER AGAIN. Try Northridge. More restaurants better services and real Korean food.

I really wanted to rate this place higher. The meats are high quality and the veggies are fresh. However, they do not give you a "raw" and a "cooked" tongs or scissors. It makes for a cross contamination situation. Stay aware. Other than that, food was really good. Give them a try. Update: Had to take off a star because guess what happened? Myself and another person in my party had...can you guess? Yup, severe tummy troubles the next morning. So until they can get some better training for staff on proper food handling techniques and separate utensils for raw and cooked, this place is a no go for me.

First time there with the kids. Asked the waitress, who is korean , to recommend the meals. For the boys it was teriyaki chicken, and for me was the short ribs. Came with sides and misogyny soup. I asked the hostess to.come over and help me decide how-to eat the meal..she was so helpful. Never had korean before, there wasnt anything to comparebto...however, it was well balanced and not saturated with goop. Meats were fresh as were the ingredients. Kimchee was great, tofu was awesome and the miso soup was delicious. I will be going there again. Soon.

Busan (the second most popular city in South Korea) style pork soups (Dwaeji gookbap) are amazingly tasty here at Janchi Korean BBQ & Bar. I always come here with my parents who were born and raised in South Korea. They really like this place whenever theyre craving for Korean food. The servers are nice there and you can get a free refill on the side dishes. Im so glad Moorpark has an Busan pork soup! Thumbs up!

This is a good Korean BBQ Restaurant. Good service, and menu. Lunch specials are very reasonably priced, and dinner entrees have been pleasing. Very happy to have Korean Cuisine in the neighborhood. Not to be overlooked. Of Note: Ventilation system seems top notch as there is no smell from BBQ left in your clothes. (Although, personally Im fine with that, but I did notice)

My wife and I were there for the soft open and we enjoyed everything we had. We did one of the group dishes and the meat was excellent, yes, a little pricey, but if you want cheap, goto a chain. I think as they refine things, the quality and experience will get better and better. Looking forward to our next dining experience there, sad is was not open today 1/2/17

I was disappointed; the quality of meat, and preparation was subpar for the prices. The staff was friendly and attentive, but the overall experience was soured when our beef tongue was not properly prepared. Many of the all-you-can-eat KBBQ further south offer the same, if not better, for cheaper and with better quality meat!

Worst customer service ever there were at least 5 employees working and the lady that was supposed to be our server completely ignored us while there was only one other family present within the entire restaurant.

Nice decoration, but the service is so so. The pork Bulgaria is nicely cut, all low quality eat with a lots of fats. Everything is too salty and too greasy. The beer is okay. The portion is small for the price.

Took my two Wrestler boys for the first time. Filled ALL three of us and could not have asked for nicer, more attentive service. Highly recommend it. We will definitely be going back.
