Ive been to this place so many times and most of the time I would come with new groups of friends to come and try this place. The food here is good but a bit bland. Im not trying to be bias from the incident that I recently had, but the food could work up on some flavors. However, this place have made me feel like I am not welcome anymore. About two days ago, I came here with a group of friends of mine. Our tab that day was around $50. Every time I ate at this place I would always leave tips behind but this time I didnt because I didnt have enough change for it. Then about three days later, I came back again, with a friend who never been to this place. We order our food and the tab came around $40. I came up to the owner to give him our tab and then he lectured me about me being rude, ignoring him when hes trying to talk to me, not leaving tips the other day, telling me that this place is not a fast food restaurant, you must leave tips behind, Im stressing him out and that he doesnt need me to stress him out when he has his son in the hospital, if I dont like it dont come back here again, and threaten to put tips on my tab the next time I come back. At this point Im not willingly to explain myself since he already have these accusation and assumption about me. This is really embarrassing and unprofessional for a restaurant owner to handle this issue. Tips should be given when services is great. Just because I didnt have enough change on that day, he didnt have to hold a grudge against me and to lecture me in front of customers and my friend. This is really embarrassing. And hes right, if I dont like it, I wont be coming back there again. I have left never left this restaurant with disappointment but now I have. I wont be coming back here anymore nor telling my friends to come support this place. I would not want anyone to experience the same thing Ive just gone through.

Ive been to this restaurant many times before with my sister, and the workers here have always been nice and hospitable to us. Tonight, however, they were really rude to my bestfriend and I. I brought my bestfriend here so she can try Korean food for the first time. I bragged to her about the delicous food and the amazing staff in this restaurant. When we got seated, the waiter had an attitude and kept hurrying us to order. Then he only gave us three side dishes when he gave the couple next to us what looked like 6 side dishes. And when we were almost done eating, it seemed like they were hurrying us to finish and leave even though it was only 7:30 and the closing was at 9. I was so embarrassed to my bestfriend. I am never coming back to this place and I am gonna tell everyone I know never to come here.

My wife and I have always loved this place. They have great Korean food, and their prices are on par for the cuisine youre eating. On Yelp there are quite a few people who complain about the prices, but this is all high quality and homemade food. It tastes absolutely amazing. From the spicy pork plate to the black bean sauce and noodles to all of the various sides that come included for free with your meal... I have yet to try a single item on the menu that I did not enjoy. To top off this delicious dining experience, you get to enjoy the company of mr. Samo who is actually from Korea and he is a very nice old man with lots of fun stories to tell if youre into that sort of thing. Highly recommend if youre in the Fresno area and feeling like Korean food

Terrible service. Im not really into Korean food, and the food was fine, but the owner was very rude. As I came with two other people, we wanted to split the bill in three separate ways, and he dared to give us attitude while saying, "why are we paying separately and not together? He is busy and doesnt have time for this," when there were only clearly 3 other group of customers who had already been served. And as one of us paid with card payment, he asked in the most rude manner, "what? No tip?" As if we were supposed to offer a tip. We did, but the customer service he provided was not worth any kind of tip. The woman and other man were very polite and calm, though. Only the guy who seemed to be the owner of the restaurant.

This place is absolutely awful. One of the worst restaurants Ive ever been to Fresno. Its a pathetic one-man operation. He gave us a recycled orange juice jug to drink out of, and gave my girlfriend scissors to cut her meat with. The interior is ghetto; all rickedy wooden chairs he probably bought at Walmart and shitty Kpop posters with wallpaper yellowing and peeling off the walls in some parts. Now frequent my fair share of unkept, untidy restaurants in south Fresno (that happen to serve awesome food), so I could actually forgive this kind of stuff if it wasnt for the astronomical prices. Expect to pay at least $25 per person for tiny, sad portions.

This place was HORRIBLE! The price of the food is ridiculously expansive. I ordered a dinner combination and it cost me around $50. The quality of the food is terrible. I ordered L.A. Gal Bee and the meat was dried up or not cooked all the way. They couldnt re-cook nor give me discount. They also did this "fortune telling" thing and that didnt go well either. He was telling my party all kinds of horrible things that will happen to them and what not. What a freaky experience... I would not ever go back nor would I recommand anyone going to this place. It is better off for you to buy some meat and Korean BBQ sauce and make it at home.

We had lunch there today and it was delicious! If you are looking to be welcomed as if you were family, this is the place to eat. The authenticity of the food was a delight! The hot tea was enjoyable, it was a type of corn tea. I am definitely coming back here. The price is worth it for the amount of food you get, I could not even finish my food. I was so full lol. The restrooms are very clean and have good soap. Lastly, we ordered mochi ice cream and omg! It is also authentic and made so yummy!! Thank you Grand-Mama and Grand-Papa, we enjoyed your cooking!!

Had THE BEST experience at Samos Kitchen. It came highly recommended by a friend and did not disappoint. The owner was hospitable and gave us a fun little lesson on the health benefits of eating Korean food. The food was flavorful and hit the spot. We ordered the combination meal for two people and were able to sample appetizers, soup, noodles, and BBQ pork. I highly recommend the kimchi soup. The owner was very entertaining and had us laughing all night. Cant wait to bring family and friends to experience the best Korean food Ive ever had.

My sister found this place online so we decided to eat Korean food for the first time. All I can say is "OH MY GOD!" The food is AMAZING!! The owner was so friendly and kind. He read us our fortunes and it was fun watching him teach my boyfriend how to eat the food the right way. I had to be dragged out by my sister and boyfriend because I couldnt stop eating. It was so good. The only thing I didnt like is that they didnt give me a chance to order desert. Next time for sure though.
