Im diabetic and my sugar was going down fast; needed to eat. Stopped at this restaurant and they refused to serve me. They said their minimum was 2. Asked for take out and they said they didnt do take out. I offered to sit and pay for 2, and would just take the rest home - I NEEDED TO EAT; SUGAR WAS DROPPING. They again refused. I had to leave and have fast food at the closest place. Husband and I went back. Second impression was that they had a lot of "rules". The food was good - a little pricey, but we enjoy Korean food so we were willing to pay. We made sure to eat all our meat - $5 charge if theres any meat left over. Service was ehhh. I want to add that we returned to this restaurant because we do like Korean food, and the second time we went the service was excellent. We still wish we could take home our leftovers, but we understand and abide by their rules. After all said, I do recommend trying this restaurant at least once. My husband and I enjoy using the table grill to prepare our choice of meats. Remember, minimum 2 people. We have come to LOVE this restaurant. We request "Alisha" as our server - she does such a great job. Ive learned to give restaurants a second chance. I dont like how they handled my first experience there - the least they could have done was sell me a coke to get my sugar back up. But otherwise, we love the food, and love "Alisha".

We have party of 7 . We request for a large table with 2 grill. They has to push us to a small table with only one grill it design for 6 people and thy are not busy and many table is open. One of us setting far enouth to not able reach the grill at all. Every cooking from the grill we can only share two small price meat. It take 5 to 10 min to cook again. We order new York steak. It only come in one price 4 Oz at the time to share 7 of us. We have some teens in the party. The teens is hungary and cant wait for the slow cooking. They finish with most of steam rice and potato salad . We paid over $200.00 for the ticket to have steam rice and potato salad! I ask for the manager for assistance. But no manager and one is in charge.

$$$$ "Waiter" was dry and rude. Food was unprepared because you are expected to prepare your own food! No you dont get to take it home if you didnt finish. Think of it as a laborious buffet. 0.o Some people are bad at cooking. BAD!!! There was an acrid layer of smoke in the air. If you have asthma..dont do it (wo)man! The place appeared well maintained apart from people assaulting flesh with fire. The waiter was clear about instructions for grilling and was attentive when we asked for more food or drinks. What I could see of the decorations through the smoke was very tasteful and appropriate to the cuisine. Not the worst place Ive ever been but I wont go back. -1

The service was really terrible. They would only bring you 3 meats at a time and we would have to wait a very long time after we were done until they came back to take our next order, even after pushing the button for the waitress. She just ignored it. Also, if you have a large group they will not seat you until half your party is there, will not allow more than 3 cards for a group if you want split bills and force everyone to order the same thing. The meat was very bland and unseasoned. All they have for you to season it with was salt and pepper. They cut it so thin that by the time you get a seer in the outside it is overdone. Not very good.

We have tried to eat here twice. The first time was after 1pm. No host, confused wait staff taking names and scrambling, then after waiting 15 minutes (place was no where close to full) for our table, a random waitress gave our table to another couple that walked in after then apologized. So we left. The second time it was 9:15pm. The door clearly says 11pm on Friday and Saturday, the place was at least a 1/3 full. The young man rudely said it was slow so were closed. If Google maps says 10pm and your door says 11pm, you dont close. Closing two hours early is a little presumptive. Definitely wont even bother trying if the staff cant sit a table.

Dude its kind of expensive but you totally get what you pay for! Its all you can eat and there are different tiers ranging in price. The more you pay, the better your selection of meat. They bring you the meat raw and you cook it yourself on the grill in the center of every table. The selection of garnishes and sauces that are waiting at your table when they seat you is mind blowing! You honestly get what you pay for and the staff is very attentive. Take it from the hit musical group Ready For The World when they say " Oh oh Sheila let me love you till the morning comes. Oh oh Sheila you know I want to be the only one".

We have been to Shilas many times and not only has the food been exceptional, but the service has been wonderful. In this day and age, I absolutely hate to go out because waitresses and waiters have given horrible service, no matter where we go. They are sullen and seem totally put out if God forbid you even ask for water. The people at Shilas have always been on top of everything and friendly on top of that. We no longer go to any other restaurants. Tori, (short for Victoria) is exceptional and we will be back, asking to be put into her section. Love this restaurant!!

Food Not too different from any other. But hey we have one now n Fresco Clovis. Eperience is a must for those who never grilled their own meet at a restaurant before. Food 4. No rice cake (like chowfun noodles) service 4.5. Watress keeps looking at phone, no biggie. Grill 5. Very important 4 me. Ive seen cast iron n charcoal. No to good for indoors. Gas flame is what they use. Switching out grill after every round is a plus+. It a buffet by the way. But have 2 finish before next round of meats. Go again? Yep

I go here every year for my birthday, because it is the one time a year I can guilt trip my unadventurous wife into eating something else besides "bean and cheese burrito." Not only can I indulge in a vastly different cuisine than I find at home, but I also get to dive head first into my gluttonous side. I walk away eating no less than 3 lbs. of protein and several Korean pancakes (so yummy). Octopus, bulgogi, ribeye, and shrimp are some of my favorites.

Fantastic, do a little research ahead of time so you know what you are getting into. Be sure to ask for anything that does not automatically appear on the table, things like garlic, other sauces, and lettuce leafs. If you have room left after the meal, the shaved ice is amazing.
