The hotel is newly opened, and so i went with great expectations. I was disappointed on many counts. (1) Their mini meals is utterly insufficient, or rather, it is not proportionate to the price yo u pay. For the same amount, HSB, or any other like malgudi etc, offer a lot more than this place. (2) Their full thali is very bland. When ever i eat a thali, since it is generally a mix of items, there is normally atleast one or 2 items that stand out. But unfortunately in this case there was none. It is definitely OVERPRICED for the quantity of food provided. (3) I had pongal on one ocassion. Sorry, VERY VERY disappointing Pongal. Probably a place like Madras Cafe is the ideal place to have pongal. The dal (parupu) in pongal was not at all like how it should have been in a pongal. I wont even call it pongal. (4) I once had a north indian thali, their biryani was floating in oil, absolutely uneatable. I still had it, but i would not attempt to have the same item again. (5) Their filter coffee was definitely great. Wonderful coffee. (6) Their bisibela bath was also good. (though it was actually sambhar rice. I should say, if you consider it as sambhar rice, then it is great. BUT SAMBHAR RICE IS DIFFERENT FROM BISIBELA BATH, they should understand it clearly) I suggested this hotel to 2 of my office collegues, and they didnt like it the first time they had food itself. So on the whole, right now there is sufficient crowd due to the hype. But if they dont improve, in due course of time, this hotel would find itself severely short of business.

Good: 1) Ample parking 2) Great taste; as promised it tastes like in Chennai 3) Great Ambiance 4) Try their specialty dosa - Athangudi Rava dosa - but beware it is the spiciest of all Things that can improve: 1) All that we order comes too fast that we have to squeeze in some place in the table, thus giving a inconvenient experience. While taking orders, it would be great to ask the diners the order in which they want the food to be served. This will provide a good dining experience. (Given the price of the food we pay, shouldnt we deserve the great peaceful experience?) 2) Athangudi Rava Dosa wasnt mentioned as spiciest in the menu. Many of them whom I saw tried like me was very not pleased that they werent informed it is spicier than all. It would be great to put a note in the menu itself. 3) The entrance seems two narrow and crowded. Suggest the sweet stall in the reception can be moved somewhere to make some space for waiting guests and guests moving out after dinner. Spoils the experience we had inside the restaurant.. 4) Like others felt, I did feel the items are little pricey. Restaurant manager needs to take a look at these repeated feedback closely.

The restaurant looks nice and new. The service is very good. This restaurant has potential, and I wish them success. The food is mostly good. South Indian filter coffee was good. I requested coffee and milk separately and the friendly staff served it that way. Poori was good. It would be better if they were placed on paper napkins to absorb excess oil. The sides for poori (korma & potato) were good. Masala dosa and Idly were also good. Sides (sambar & chutney) were good. There was a lentil dish from Mangalore, which I sampled, but didnt order because it was offered as a dish by itself, whereas it resembled paruppu usili, which is usually part of a larger meal with rice. I ordered tea once and it tasted spoilt. When I mentioned this to my waiter, he removed it from the bill. On one occasion, coconut chutney wasnt good. I just ignored it. A few areas do need attention. A person with a welcoming smile at the front, to greet and seat the guests. Consistent quality and taste. Ambient noise reduction, possibly using some foam lining on the walls, or some indoor plants.

Went for Dinner to this restaurant with a hope of expecting the same taste, similar pricing and the hospitality that we enjoy in Chennai. We waited for over 50 minutes and then got seated in a four seat table for a group of 6 saying that to attach the two seater can be added after it get ready (there was a family with a small kid was eating at that point). We adjusted and we ordered besibelabath - which is very high old stock ghee taste (Old ghee or some poor quality ghee)... Chole and bhattura ( Please ask for additional chole because the quantity of chole is very very less compare to other hotels, North indian thali - again not of good taste. and I can keep going on of all the dishes... Overall the hotel is very expensive for the food they provide. The quantity of the food is very less and the cost is more comparing to other near by hotels ... I dont think I will try again

I went there once for dinner; food was fresh and taste was ok, but price was slightly on higher side. For example, thali was $12 here but is $9 or $10 at say Tirupathi Bhimas in milpitas. And tea is $3 !! Too much bright lights in the place and small wooden seats, so the place was not very comfortable seatingwise. And there was a shortage of waiters as place was very busy, at least on sunday evening when the place was full, so I had to order the same items thrice before finally getting them. Also the north indian thali was supposed to have roti, but it had naan. Thali vegetables/dal quantities were small, so I ordered refills; do order thali refills beforehand as they take a long time to come.

Great Service by the Staff, BUT THE MASALA DOSA was not great, the Dosa was not crispy at all and both sides of the Dosa were touching the side of the table, not good, Specially for the price you are charging, the quality of food is not there. I also ordered some pakoras, and when they arrived, there was no side dip or chutney with it. I ask for some and the guy got me ketchup. lol.. HONESTLY,.. I am a major Masala Dosa lover and I have tried many and all places in the South Bay and this has be one of the worst, food wise. THE BEST MASALA DOSA HAS BE AT BANGLORE CARE / REAL ICE CREAM.

I agree with Mr.Muralidharans remark. Pricy and small portions. I went there 3 times since they opened up and each time the experience was different, food was inconsistent. Unpredictable in all aspects, shows they dont have a set system for anything, be it the way they take orders (some days nice and hospitable, some days rude and unpleasant), side dishes are random each time. Whatever said and done, instead of going to Saravana Bhavan, which has a track record of some illegal visa frauds and the owner indicted in a murder case, at least we can eat here with out guilt.

Amazing restaurant! High quality, organic ingredients, primarily South Indian restaurant, but North Indian options (including thali) available as well. The food is served in good portions, not too much and not miniscule. Its delicious and healthy. Both the mini thali and south indian thali come in good qualities. The place has enough room for everyone - couples, families, large parties, etc. Bathrooms are clean and the place overall is hygienic, from the water to utensils. Chai is excellent here as well. You have to visit this place if you want some great Indian food.
