We came in and were seated quickly. The decor is semi casual with flares of Indian touches. They have a large bar and unique nicknacks placed around the restaurant. Large menu, with some Chinese options and lots of good options for vegetarians. We came for curry and curry we got! I ordered the Malai kofta, and asked for it spicy!!!! And spice level did not disappoint, my face is still tingling. They added in lots of Thai chilis. The fried potato dumpling drizzled in a rich sauce blend that had deep notes of yumminess built over time, with the surprising little bits of cheese tucked into them, filled me right up. Defiantly recommend this dish. Raita was also very good and pink! This is the best Indian food I have had in Reno, none the less comparable to some of the best places I have been in San Diego and Seattle. The rice was very good as well. The boys ordered: Chicken tikka MASALA (not Marsala, aka Italian wine sauce): British buttery tomato based sauces with tender chunks of chicken, was devoured, with naan not rice, "the way its supposed to be eaten". The naan was very good and the portions were huge! Defiantly a homemade tikka masala. Lamb Rogan Josh: Very tender lamb, authentic spice blends pared well with the rich gravy, whos spice level again did not disappoint. More of a front up kick to it than the slow build the spicy malai kofta had. Towards the end of our meal the owner came to greet us and ask us how it was. We were very happy, and he was very kind. He let us know that the ingredients are shipped fresh from San Fran, and let us know what types of chilis we had in our dishes. I finished with the Gulab jamun, a fluffy ball of fried dough soaked in syrup, and sweet as sweet can get! Lastly to note, my brothers friend said he thought it was more southern Indian, all in all very good and great prices!

Great food, nice atmosphere (love the Indian music in the background), and friendly service. Best Indian Food weve had in Reno so far, and weve tried several restaurants in town. These guys are definitely just taking off though - it is a new restaurant and they are working on fine-tuning their timing and logistics. That said, the food is authentic and delicious. Best paneer (cheese cubes) weve had almost anywhere - they are making it fresh on site. The spinach sauce was very tasty. And the masala sauce is amazing - pretty spicy, which is how we love it. It is balanced, with rich, complex flavors. The chicken tikka in the masala sauce was slightly dry, but not excessively so. The mango lassi was great - they are using some very nice yogurt, probably also made in-house, or at least from a very good source. Note that there is beer available, but not on the menu yet. Ask for it if it still is not showing up. Im a foodie, and cooking is my avocation. I am extremely picky, and I plan to go back here to eat very soon. Sure hope they can get settled with the timing and supply line for getting the food out. We did not have to wait that long for the first dish and our drinks came out right away, but the second dish was a bit of a longer wait. Not a problem for us, but it is something they will likely get worked out as they settle in. Worth the wait, in my opinion, in any case.

Finally a good Indian restaurant in Reno that is worth going to. Pros: Awesome food As authentic as it gets in Bay Area Good selection of food from all over South India Good vegetarian options Cons: -1 point for: Their service is sub-par. They need to improve on their delivery times. 35-45 minutes for a to go order for 2 people is ridiculous. During peak hours it takes for ever to get food and the worst part is that food arrives in segments. Last time my fiancee was sitting idle as I was gobbling on my Biryani because her food arrived late (I was almost finished with my food). I hate to see them lose customers due to bad service as they truly serve good food. -1 point for: They screw up to go (and sometimes for dine-in as well) orders. They got my order wrong three times. I ordered vegetarian biryani to go and they gave chicken biryani (they did give veg biryani for free on our next visit). Another time we ordered a vegetarian curry and got chicken pieces in it (we were not charged for it though). Third time when I ordered cut-mirchi they gave half of what they were supposed to and no chutneys were included. They do make up for their mistakes but it looks like it has become a pattern and they have to learn from their mistakes. To conclude, I will still go here despite the bad service because there is no other alternative for good Indian food in Reno.

Very excited about having an Indian restaurant so close to where I live - finally! Their flavors and presentation were excellent and everything was clean. These following comments are to be constructively taken and hopefully implemented upon. For the price we paid (for 4 approx $30 per person, without dessert) service was spotty; drinks werent delivered together, food wasnt either. I filled up before my food arrived by sharing from my party who all had theirs. The water delivery stopped abruptly also. Our tables were not cleaned of dirty dishes and empty bowls promptly, and we had to struggle to find places when our Marsala Teas came. I would have liked there to have been some Indian music playing, and some chafing heaters for the food (like Kabab Indian has). I understand that this restaurant has not been open for very long, but I want it to succeed. For a Tuesday night it was very busy. Eventually I hope for a buffet for lunch please? I shall be back! Thank-you

Please beware! Food served here is cooked once every few days i guess. All the stored frozen food is heated back while serving. Management make sure the same quality of food is served as it was during the initial month. we had some bad experience after eating here. Please dont prefer this restaurant..! You dont have to serve 100s of dishes, try to maintain fresh and good quality food. Staff working there, Please make sure otherwise we will have to take this to Bawarchi management if the same thing reoccurs. You have to make sure quality food is served. we are not there to spend money on leftovers from previous days. All people do not order any desserts which is frozen stuff which are heated up on order.

Love it. Its great! The curry is rich and thick. Every bite had a great amount of flavor and it was so spicy for certain dishes. I highly recommend their curries and the chicken tandori. They have various types of Naan flavors. The have specialty drinks and if you care they are a halal restaurant. Which means good quality meat! The service was impeccable. Our water was always filled. Even with a new waitress. At first the food took a while, but the notified us. The place is pretty new and theres always a few bumps here and there, but overall was a great experience. Will define to go again. Has good vibes, great service, and delicious food.

Calling from 30 mins, but no one to pick the call. We ordered idli which was in the online menu, they saying it will be in the menu after 3 months! I asked to change one of order just after few minutes, they refused to change. They should learn lot about customer service. I drove 20 minutes from Reno after looking at stars on review. Not worth 4 stars. They said 30 minutes for food preparation. We waited more than 45 minutes here. I will never come here and I dont suggest anyone. If you are coming here to get food then make sure to loose your 2 hours
