Very small local breakfast/lunch diner that gives the opportunity for personal attention to make customers feel special. With only a handful of tables and counter seats less than 4 feet from the grill, in a diner this small I would expect good food with great, personal service - I was right about the food. I got what I asked for, promptly: no less, no more. I had a corned beef sandwich that was toasted just right and smothered in cole slaw. I inhaled it, and would recommend it for corned beef fans. But my water was gone quickly and I was not asked if I wanted more, and there was no "thank you" or extended courtesy. Not much need to compare the prices as just about everything is between $12-$15. A simple summary: I was never asked how my meal was, but it was good enough that it wasnt on my plate very long!

Hands down the best pancakes...and Im a picky pancake eater! Get the blueberry, or mixed berry or one of each - yep - they let you do that. This is of course if you like a dense, moist pancake that is sweet and melt in your mouth vs a fluffy, bready, dry pancake (aka bisquick). The egg scrambles and bacon are also yummy plus the place has an authentic, neighborhood feel. Its a small space and you need to wait in line so bring a NY Times, book or friend to catch up with. But once you order - food comes quick! I recommend sitting at the counter to watch the cooks in action.

Picked this place as it was recommended by our Lyft driver who lives in Sausalito and immediately it became one of my Favourite brunch spots. Its a small diner which serves authentic breakfast. The food was great and portions were huge. 6 of us shared 5 mains and it was more than enough. We had their eggs, scrambled, poached and in an omelette. They all tasted great, especially the scrambled eggs and the omelette with the potatoes. We had their fruit pancake as well which tastes equally good. Overall a lovely place with great service :)

Nice little family owned restaurant, its very cozy, but fast paced and friendly! Service was quick, and they have daily specials that you should definitely checkout before looking at the main menu. I missed out on the crab and lobster melt, which I only saw after I already placed my order hahaha Theres usually a long line during brunch hours and seating is very limited, but youll be seated within 15minutes or less. Coffee is a bit pricey for the quality Great place looking forward to coming back here when Im in the area!

After passing so many times, made a direct stop. Arrived on motorcycles, street was full...attempted to park in the office parking (on the weekend), got told not to park there by the staff...was able to get on the street...able to get inside after a short wait (it was busy) and sat at the counter. Coffee was good, breakfast was really good, almost wanted a nap after...staff were all over the place (in a good way), sitting at the counter seemed a little close to the grill...would i come back, yes.

The food was quite good, I really enjoyed it. Ive seen many reviews mentioning that the waitress Deb is really friendly and makes customers feel welcome. I didnt get that welcome from her the two times Ive been there, not sure why. When I was leaving the second time and crossed her path, she didnt say thank you or goodbye, which made me leave thinking if its something to do with the color of my skin... she was really friendly to the white couple beside me though.

As visitors to the Bay area, we were looking for something off the beaten path and not so "touristy." We found it at the Lighthouse Café! Not only was it busy with what appeared to be locals, the service was fast and friendly and the food was DELICIOUS! Definitely recommend the Danish Chicken Club Sandwich and the Danish Lunch Plate (roast beef, meatballs, beets, pickled cucumbers and potato salad). Enjoy!

The greatest place to get Danish breakfast with salmon, herring in different sauces, and meatballs. Also, there are various traditional American dishes and special sausages. The staff is very friendly and offer coffee while waiting in a line. The portions are good and quality of food is consistent. Just one thing since the space is limited it is very complicated to have party for more than 4.

This is a very quaint restaurant. It is a definite place for locals, the staff is friendly and very relaxed in their environment. The food was good and fresh. It really is a part of an experience when visiting the area. Downfall was just one bathroom, very tight fit. Service was very good. It is more like having a breakfast at home, not at a restaurant, so forget the norm!

Great little family-owned cafe in Sausalito! It was the perfect spot for a quick breakfast and it was amazing! They have a extensive menu and has all your breakfast favorites. I ordered the Bagel & Lox which was really good! When we arrived, the line was out the door, but it went by pretty fast. Lighthouse Cafe is a great, reliable place for breakfast and brunch!

Fantastisk place with a nice atmosphere. Be sure to come early because it fills up quickly and you dont want to wait to eat breakfast. Great service and very nice people. The owner is Danish and it was nice being welcomed in our native language. FYI. Be sure to try the frikadeller (Danish meat balls)

Best breakfast in Sausalito. Although, beyond the odd bakery and coffee shop, there is not a lot of competition at breakfast, these guys have been doing the simple things well for years. 7am-3pm seven days a week, they work hard and crank out good staples. Blueberry pancakes were my favourite :-)

Lighthouse Cafe offers both American and Danish fare. Extremely tasty, clean food and artisan blueberry pancakes. The owner, Annette, is a lovely lady and her assistant Deborah brightens your day with World Class Customer Service. A great place for breakfast in Sausalito.

This is a small and lovley breakfast joint. Fill up on their Blueberry Pancakes some hot coffee and take a walk around this beautiful community. This place can get busy, but it is worth the wait. People watch while you wait to be seated.

My meal was good, scramble a bit dry over done, dry toast with cold butter... the service felt rushed and not so friendly. Very large portion though for the hungry eater. Im going to give it a second chance. Enjoy your meal! Cheers

Meatballs are TASTY. The rest of the family loved their food too. Coffee hit the spot. If I lived nearby, I would come here to try all of the Dutch offerings for sure. New time we come through, we are stopping at Lighthouse Café.
