Oh my God, "Gag me with a delicious Spoon"! Please!.. Gag me with all this delicious food they serve here. All their plates are full proportions, no skimping here.. At all!. Everything Ive ever order here is delicious its Crisp or crunchy or fresh or Warm or soft or whatever it needs to be - its that and more! You just have to be here to experience this. The inside is absolutely awesome. Straight 1980 surfboards, Town & Country, G&S, Maui & Sons, local motion.. Remember that? Theres paintings of waves everywhere with Darth Vader surfing, the Predator, Back to the Future car flying, The Dukes of Hazzard boys, R2D2 and C3PO on the shore Jeff Spicolis even got his board on the water. There is memorabilia everywhere, signs, paintings, guitars. They play all 80s music and right now I hear Prince who just passed away. Do not miss your opportunity to eat here, relax here and enjoy. The only complaint I have is that they are only open till 2 oclock!? Seriously. Come on. Theres always a lot of people here because it is just the coolest place with the most delicious food. Come eat your delicious food and have a blast. Im a local here for a while and I never decided to go in because I just thought it was a gimmick.. Theres no gimimic here just delicious food and great atmosphere and two of the coolest managers Ive ever encountered. They even were going to let my friend use their surf board. This is no joke. Honest to goodness nice guys. All the waitresses and waiters were absolutely wonderful as well. All good things to say about this place. And I am a very critical person.

So i come here because i read good reviews...well From getting on list to getting out it took 1 hour 30 minutes approx. It was just me and my little one. We spent one third of the time waiting and waiting. First it took 30 minutes to wait to be seated, we walk in and theres plenty of tables empty, and we were waiting for? Idk. We get a table and we get our drinks right away. 20 minutes pass by just sitting there not even approached by any of the two waitresses that were in the area to ask of we were ready. Some lady waited just as long as I did with her family and she got a waitress attention, why was it taking so long to get service? They left. So finally I call the waitress and Im like we have been waiting here long just sitting and no one has come. The waitress was Jacqueline she took our orders but also was the same waitress that kept passing by us. Didnt even apologize. We wait another 20 minutes and finally get our orders. So service was bad too much waiting and for what...? Food was no good as the reviews say so... Waitress Jacqueline even told some bus guy that its a restaurant and ur supposed to sit and wait right where we can all hear it. Uh yea but not for so long and to be ignored! So not attentive to customers and careless. That girl was only there for hours and getting paid not actually doing her job. Only waited that long for the food and its good reviews but so not returning here.

My wife and I stopped in to give this place a try since we were in the area and let me tell ya, this place rocks!! Casual atmosphere, 80s themed, great food, great service and right up the street from the beach. The place is covered in 80s themed movie posters, rock albums and even has a Pac Man video arcade game. They also play 80s music and the decor has a beachy 80s theme to it. I was already sold as soon as I walked in. Im a sucker for 80s...... the era I grew up in. The food was great and came out to us rather quickly. We didnt wait too long for our food and our waitress was top notch. The owner Perry came out and introduced himself to us. He went around talking to everybody in the restaurant and we really liked that. Very awesome customer service!! My wife ordered the corned beef hash and she said it was made exactly the way she likes it. I got the Canadian bacon and eggs and both of our breakfasts tasted amazing! We found our new breakfast hot spot when were in town. We will definitely be back! Thanks Perry, you got yourself a real gem of a place!!

On the way to San Diego I wanted to stop into Oceanside. Decided to eat here because of the Google reviews. Once seated we waited nearly 40 minutes for our food it was below average at best. I ordered New York Steak and eggs and requested it be cooked medium rare and it came out well done, tough, and nearly impossible to cut. The eggs were cold and soggy and the coffee was cheap and weak. Our waitress was very nice and apologetic but it just was not worth the hour long delay. It advertises as a place that the locals eat, obviously the locals dont care for quality.

I was so hungry when I walked in, I got two entrees, a waffle with strawberries topped with whipped cream and a bacon avocado burger (and i added cheese) I pretty much finished both plates. I definitely recommend both. My sister got the french toast breakfast, and I loved it. Very comforting place. It seemed like they had a few regulars and its cool you can be so close to the people cooking the food. All staff so friendly. Such an easy going atmosphere. Im going again soon, so close to home, and I have lots more to try on the menu!

This restaurant my husband I found several months ago. We have been going on weekends and love it. The coffee is great and comes with flavored creamers of all types for you to choose your favorite or real cream if that is your prference. The french toast and various pancakes piled with fruit looks amazing and tastes even better. The skillets are excellent as well. I have been to this place frequently and the menu is exhaustive so I have not gotten through it all yet. No one item has been a disappointment yet.

I was stoked to eat here because it looked like a cool place, and there was a line out front so I knew the food was good. The only complaint I have was how long it took between ordering the food and getting the food. The food is inexpensive, portions are large, and its delicious. Servers are pretty good, atmosphere is great (80s theme!), place is clean. I can see why its a locals choice type of place. Glad we found it. Even if we were ravenous from the wait, Ill still come back next time were in town.

Went with a group of 12 peeps, we had to wait for what felt like an hour, this place is extremely popular on Sundays, and they dont take reservations. Well, I can see why the wait, the food is amazing! I had delicious french toast and coffee. Everyone in my group loved their food. The service was great, the decor interesting and sparked conversation. The only drawback is that there is only one bathroom in the back, I had to wait a bit to use it, but at least it was clean.

Well based on the views I had expected the service and the food to be pretty decent. I was sadly let down. The place was not clean, crumbs everywhere, dirty walls, and Windows. I wish they would have had some warnings somewhere that the gravy they serve on the there biscuits. I like spicy food but heart burn for breakfast is not what I wanted. The server was actually very sweet and helpful so it wasnt a total bust I guess but I definitely wont be returning.
