The food is fantastic, but the service really sucked. It was New Years day, so it was pretty busy, but its not a huge place and there arent that many tables. I was fine waiting for 15 or 20 minutes to get a table, but once Im seated I expect to get the attention from my server that I waited so patiently for. Took forever to get our order taken. No water was brought to the table. My coffee sat empty most of the time. Our server kept walking right past us and didnt check in is very often. Then when I did get coffee, there was no creamer or sugar left on the table. I had to keep asking other servers walking by to please bring either more coffee, or cream and we never got them at the same time. Once we had food, I went my entire meal without anything at all to drink. Again, had to ask another server to bring us water and more coffee. No one came to the table to ask how we were or if we needed or check, husband had to walk to the register to ask to pay. Between me, my husband and two kids we had Eggs Benedict, an omelette, and two pancakes and it took us over an hour after we were seated to get out of there. Again, great food, but service really sucked, making it really unpleasant.

Would have liked to had tried this place out. Stopped by at about 10am on the 4th of July. They had just seated the last table. I figured it would be a little while so I stood waiting next to the "please wait to be seated" sign for about 7 or 8 minutes. Though the wait staff walked by and around us constantly not a single one for them welcomed us or even said hello. Finally sat down with my young grandson to wait some more. 10 minutes and though they kept walking back and forth in front of still.... Not a single person acknowledged us in any way. Finally got up and left. I made sure the family walking in after us knew that that the management had no clue on common civility. Went down the block and though were at a decidedly less than chic place guess what? Smiles and welcomes before the door even closed behind us.

It was busy and we had to wait a LONG time. We ordered and I ordered the crab sandwich, WITHOUT bacon for 11.50. I expected a lucious crab packed sandwich and got what looked like two slabs of bread slathered in oil with very little in between.......oh but there was the bacon! The amount of crab was so tiny and it seemed like canned snow crab, NOT dungenes! I had to return the sandwich as they had NOT grilled it and the bacon had to be removed. Why would any one put bacon on a CRAB sandwich? Oh I know, to disguise the fact that there was very little crab on it!!!!! SOOOOOOO disappointing. Will NOT return...ever!

I arrived at 1:45pm, hoping to have pancakes only to ofind that they quit serving pancakes and French toast at 11:30AM. My fault, first time there. So I scanned the menu again and ordered the egg Benedict, but was told everything they needed to make it had just been put away. Soooo, I just had a blueberry muffin and orange juice. As a result, I cannot comment on the food, but the server was okey. Ill try it again next time Im in Florence. Would be nice if menu was clearer, or times were posted when certain foods were no longer available, but the eggs Benedict were on the regular menu.

My Husband and I went in for breakfast on our way out of Florence on a Monday Morning. The young lady who waited on us was friendly and thorough. My shrimp omelette was very good! The shrimp tasted fresh, the eggs were fluffy and the pico de gallo was made of FRESH chopped tomatoes and onions. My only complaint would be that there wasnt quite as much cheese as I would have expected in an omelette and the accompannying hashbrowns were a little soggy, but fresh. My husband had the biscuits and gravy and the biscuits appeared to be fresh and the gravy homemade.

Horrible. Hostess couldnt answer any of our questions cuz she wasnt a waitress. When waitress did finally arrive she was rude, didnt smile. When she finally brought over silverware we were missing, she just dropped it on the table in a pile and walked away. She didnt remember whos order went to who and just put plates in middle of table and waited for us to take them. Brought out the kids food last. Portions were small and expensive. Toast was a brick. Not a good experience overall.

Three of us came in on 4th of July seated within 10 minutes (which isnt bad!!) But waited well over an hour for simple food straight off the menu (no special requests) poached eggs were overdone and English muffin wasnt toasted - not even warm!! Our waitress was very sweet, but I was very insulted when a waiter (family member of owner?) asked me to squeeze in so he could move a table and there was no possible way it would fit past me.

The online menu isnt updated so my sandwich was more than I thought, plus 75¢ to have it to go, plus the dont take visa but have an ATM that costs a $1. My French dip had no au jus so it was just a French. I have had go food from them but the $$ for what you get just isnt worth it. I spent $16.95 including the tip, had I known there was no dip I wouldnt have tipped. Most expensive and disappointing lunch Id ever had

Eggs were ordered over easy and one over medium. They both came almost hard. Maybe half teaspoon of yoke in both. I hope you like your Bacon extra, extra crispy. I do, so it didnt bother me. Hash browns were awesome. Biscuits were big and fluffy, but the gravy has major flour lumps in it. We have now taken this little cute breakfast place off our list.

It is a very comfortable restaurant with smiling service and great food. I promise you wont leave hungry! Huge portions and lots of options. I had such a hard time deciding! Loads of omelettes, sandwiches both breakfast and lunch! Great coffee too! I got the Brown Hen Scramble and it was great! Cooked a little soft but thats perfect for me!

It wasnt busy, but we had to wait a long time. The prices were high and you have to pay for any substitutions. I had a biscuit and gravy ($7.50) and a side of "fresh fruit" ($3.50). The food was mediocre at best, the service was slow, and the music was loud and lousy. This place seems like they want to be fancy, but its a breakfast diner.

Excellent food. Homemade flare - not just off of Costco shelf. Quick, friendly Service. Chirps (thin seasoned potato slices) are delicious.Accepts cash only but there is an ATM on site. Open until 2:00. French toast and Pancakes not served after 11:00 a.m. Hamburgers/ sandwiches in addition to breakfast food served. Yummy!

We were seated as soon as we came in, but it took some time to get our coffee and even longer to oreder, they were too busy cleaning tables and talking. The food was good, we had omlettes and it was more than we could eat, prices alittle high. The owner was very friendly. I am we will go there again if we ever go to Florence.
