My waitress did not pay attention to my special request for organic eggs with breakfast. I received regular eggs, instead (which I never eat because they make me ill.) The meal tasted fine (the only reason for two stars) but I could tell something was wrong as I waited to pay my bill. This was my first time eating at this restaurant so I trusted that I was being served what I had requested. When I questioned the cashier about the eggs, she indicated that my waitress had not notated my special request on my ticket so the cook was not notified. I left the restaurant feeling sick to my stomach and paid for my waitress mistake by "hugging the toilet" when I got home. Thanks for ruining my breakfast experience and my morning Harvester Restaurant. Definitely wont be back!

Accommodated my love for window side seating. Nice low though old style music but still enlightening. Relatively nice and quiet for the dining space provided. Ordered the Petes choice omelet w/half order side of bacon. Nice rich vibrantly fresh coffee supply which is key to a good sitdown breakfast. Avg time of meal delivery is 13-15 minutes for a half full house at noon. Presentation is ok but thats expected from the mom and pop style of diners in the tacoma though the tast is very nice.

a great place for breakfast! i came in shortly after they opened, most places are so busy finishing setting things up that service suffers. not here, at least not on my first visit. i had the Jersey City omelet and it was fantastic. made with taco meat and peppers, with cheese on top. the bloody mary was wonderful as well.

Fresh Orange Juice and Breakfast! The Harvester is my go-to restaurant in Downtown Tacoma! They serve fresh-squeezed orange juice and have a classic eggs benedict that is actually really good! If given the choice...choose a seat by the windows. This provides additional opportunities for people watching.

I ordered a "typical" breakfast and coffee; it was fine but nothing special for the $15 (including a $2 tip) it cost. I appreciated that the waitress was very friendly and attentive. Due to (what I saw as) premium prices for standard fare, I doubt Ill find myself becoming a "regular".

This place is very underrated. I would argue that it has one of the best breakfast menus around. Real fresh squeezed oj, Bloody Marys use real vodka and not Champaign like many other trendy spots. It may not be the most hip. But on the plus side it keeps the hipsters away. Lol

Excellent! Possibly the best breakfast in Tacoma! The food is incredibly flavorful! They also have options like cage free eggs! As a healthy person, I mostly eat at home - but I will definitely be coming here again! Lots of food too! The eggs benedict with cage free eggs is a MUST!

The food may be average, but the service and homelike atmosphere make it a place worth visiting. Great prices make it an affordable place to eat with the family while on vacation. Yummy breakfast too! I have eaten here several times and have received consistent service.

We often eat at the Harvester and our waitress LYNN is terrific. She is good for your business and I suggest she get a raise. She consistently gives us the best service and her loyalty needs to be rewarded. Irene and Paul Perry North End of Tacoma

This is your normal neighborhood breakfast joint for me. Ive been here a lot and its pretty consistent. Nothing extravagant at all, just good food in the morning. Ive never eaten anything but breakfast though.

Best diner style breakfast that I know of in the area. Awesome biscuits and gravy. Insane fresh squeezed orange juice or you can order a milkshake if thats your thing. Newly remodeled and is nice inside.

Ive been there in the past and enjoyed it but the last few times Ive gone the food just hasnt been up to par. Word of advice, even if the restaurant is full do not choose to be seated in the bar.

Were regulars there. Their food is pretty good, they are best for breakfast and lunch the help is friendly, prices are reasonable, but its has a limited menu. We wish they were a 24-hour place.

Service was amazing and our waitress was very helpful. I ordered the Swedish Crepes with Strawberries and they were so delicious. I could only finish 2 of the 3 Crepes because they were so big.

Its a great place to go with your grandparents. Food and atmosphere are sure not to offend anyone. If youre looking for something with a bit more personality, Id recommend the Hob-Nob.

Great food, Great service, friendly flexible staff. Dont see somethin you want? Ask em to modify it (e.g. turning the farmers omelette into a breakfast burrito) you Wont regret it.

The bacon and hash browns are crispy, but moist and the coffee plentiful. Wait staff are quick and the eggs Benedict is delicious. Great place to come for Sunday brunch.

Theyve removed one of my favorite items from their breakfast menu - "Thats Some Italian" omelette. Plus our server seemed like she was a little annoyed with our group.

I have been to the harvester several times for breakfast and have not been disappointed. There is not usually a significant wait but parking can be tricky.

Great breakfast restaurant. They take a little while to bring out the food, but its not a big deal considering how good the food is.

Good old fashioned place to have a egg breakfast. Nothing fancy -- wont find any fancy egg scrambles or goat cheese omelets.
