When you first walk in, you stand there awkwardly for a minute or 2 wondering whether youre supposed to seat yourself or wait. Apparently, seat yourself. We came for breakfast on a Thursday morning- not busy so it was nice. The restaurant isnt very appealing with dilapidated yellow paint, grout in desperate need of a deep clean, old tables propped up with napkins to keep from wobbling; however, it had pretty good reviews over all- so lets try it out.. i got the bacon and eggs- with homefries and toast. Toast came with the tiniest smear of neon yellow on it. I assume it was butter-but the color says crayola. My scrambled eggs were so dry and crumbled i couldnt even get them on the fork. My husband either. Bacon seemed to be that reheated microwave bacon- awful and not crispy in the slightest. The breakfast potatos werent crispy- greasy and mushy. My toddler got French toast- no complaints from him- didnt eat the scrambled egg or bacon..actually he chewed the bacon and spit it out. And that kid loves bacon. The apple juice he also made a face at. I tried it and it had a terrible aftertaste. Idk if it was bad or what. Service was friendly. Nothing over the top- but she came by for drink refills and food came quickly. It seems their non breakfast food gets higher reviews. Maybe one day well try for lunch...probably not..

It is on 22nd just east of Craycroft if you blink you miss it especially if youre not looking for it. Its closer to the Chase Bank on 22nd on the north side of 22nd. It has pretty ample parking space when you walk in you seat yourself at the first available table. With that being said the seating is limited but it has tables, a few booths, and traditional bar seats. The service was good, the best thing was that I ordered a hot chocolate and they brought me water without even asking or making a face when my friend ordered coffee and requested a water as well. They have varied breakfast & lunch meals from traditional American to traditional Mexican. I selected a more traditional Mexican meal: two eggs made to order, refried beans, salsa, tortilla, and your choice of a corn or beef tamale. I ended up receiving the the beef tamale instead of the corn tamale but it was great and once the corn tamale came out I still preferred to beef one.

To me, Mexican American breakfast joints must be measured by their ability to execute chiliquiles. The Breakfast Stop, while not likely the best anyone has ever had, is certainly tasty and most importantly, cooked to perfection. As far as diners go, this one is making it into our familys regular rotation on account of its highly attentive & pleasant wait staff, and reasonably priced, am fuel.

Well Im not gonna lie I was 100% surprised by my experience but it was a good one! Its a Mexican spot, you wouldnt know by the name. The food was good, my wife really enjoyed her hot wings and fries, I had pancakes shaped as bunnies eggs bacon and a side of home fries. Good amount of food so much we needed a box. Theres not a lot of seating, but the wait staff was on point.

We always leave happy after eating at the Breakfast Stop! The food is delicious, home cooked, and comes out super fast. Everyone who works here is friendly and hard working. Also, the prices are awesome for such large portions, especially the Stop breakfast Monday-Friday for around $5. We highly recommend checking them out!

The food was great and I appreciated that the kids food wasnt hastily put together. They actually looked like hearts. The ceiling was leaking on our table and I mentioned it but they didnt seem to care much. Its funny how if it was leaking on my food Id probably be pretty upset. But it didnt so I hope they fixed it.

If you are looking for a quick bite to eat thats got a home cooked feel than this is a great place to try out. It didnt take long for our order and the service was very professional and courteous. Also I was pleased to see that they take Apple Pay! Overall great experience

This place is fantastic! I cant believe the prices are so low for food that taste so great and with such large quantities! The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. This is definitely my new go to place when it comes to breakfast.

Food here is great. Highly recommend this place. My new favourite place to go eat. Amazing donuts and cookies as well all fresh. The younger lady working the front counter is great at he job very friendly and is very good at her job.

The service was great. If you go early for breakfast you may encounter a line. Food was classic diner food. Also, heads up you will need to request a key to use the bathroom that is located outside around the back of the building.

Good coffee and tasty mexican breakfast. Ask for easy salsa or get it on the side if it comes with your meal. Its mild but sometimes there is just too much.
