My sister and I intended to have a nice meal and enjoy the view of beautiful Sausalito. Unfortunately, we picked this restaurant. We were hastily greeted by an incredibly rude woman who corrected me about how many people were in my party: "two and a baby" I said and she replied "so thats actually 3." After ordering us to place our small stroller in the corner, she placed a broken high chair at the table and left. We informed her the chair was broken and she replied "oh is it?" Throughout our meal, she sauntered by giving us disapproving, unwarranted looks. The table was overset (3 of everything) and the innocent water boy offered my 11 month old newphew a GLASS of water. The waiter then forgot my order after bringing me watered down coke. All my senses sang "cat food" as I picked at my small $18 entree, my sister reported the gnocchi as "canned childrens food." It was a terrible experience and the only redeeming factor about it was writing this review to help you avoid ruining your day in spectacular Sausalito!

We live in town and decided to treat ourselves to dinner out during the holidays and picked Angelinos. We have been there a dozen times over the years and our experiences have always been spotty. Maybe the food was good but the service haughty (in that way only the Italians can pull off) or the service ok but the food so so. Once again, we hit that disappointment. Both of us had veal (who can do veal like the Italians) but while the sauce was great the veal was just a bit tough and a bit dry that makes me think - well I can do a bit tough and dry all on my own and for a lot less money. The bruscheta was too artichoky and I love artichokes; the desert was great. And, we went on Wednesday which is advertised as free corkage day...but corkage was on our bill. Hate to say this but I wondered if the "mistake" was deliberate. Oh and prices are on the high end. Bottom line service and food does not add up to the high end prices.

The service at this restaurant was terrible. The waiter was slow to bring water and offer drinks. There were three of us. We went for lunch and the inside of the restaurant was half empty but the outside tables were full. The waiter took a long time to take our order. The meals took a very long time to come. Two of the meals came five minutes before the third meal. The portion size was small but the food was cooked very well. Getting a refill on drinks was next to impossible. What really was the worst was that they charge extra for bread. What kind of Italian restaurant doesnt provide bread or bread sticks at the table? That, on top of the bad service, pretty much ruined it for me. The prices are tourist princes - very expensive for what you get - but that probably applies to any restaurant in Sausilito. I wont go back - will find another restaurant nearby and will get better service.

The staff, including the owner Pasquale, were all wonderful. Wife and I were on our honeymoon, and wandered in for lunch. We came back for dinner that night, and the following night! Food is outstanding! Portions are PERFECT! I have never had such an enjoyable experience in any restaurant. The wine list is wonderful, the food heavenly! We sat at the bar, and by our second visit were treated as regulars! Thanks Sal! I do not recommend many restaurants, and never write a review. But I will tell you, if you are in the area and do not visit Angelino, you are truly missing out. I am Italian, and was raised on spectacular Italian food, and sorry Nana, but this is the best eating experience I have ever had!

Food is very spotty ranging from great down to terrible depending on Im not sure what. Double and triple check your bill as for 20 years they have a bad reputation for padding the bill. Always! Not just occasionally. Even during the eras when the food is good, Im reluctant to support petty crooks. The older owner seated at the bar, if you allow him, will tell you tales of why the other Italian restaurants in town are bad and unauthentic. Could be a good experience if theyd figure out how to keep it on track and stop padding the bill. If you question the service the waiter can get huffy and rude!

I was hoping for an enjoyable authentic Italian meal after a long day in San Francisco. Service was lousy here, the waiter was not one bit helpful in offering information or context on the dishes besides what was printed on the menu. The dish I ordered came out as a pile of fried tempura shrimp, calamari and zucchini. It was the most bizarre thing Ive ever been served for dinner, I was just in disbelief that the dish was even offered as an entree. I couldnt eat more than a few pieces of seafood, it just was not satisfying. My wife had potato gnocchi which came out cold and bland. We left fast.

Angelinos is a wonderful Italian restaurant. We made reservations the night before, and when we arrived 45 minutes late, they gave us the prime table! Windowfront to the bay! We were floored. The food was not as phenomenal, but still good. I ordered Pizza Neunetto, which was not the best choice. The rest of my family enjoyed their meal more than I did, so next time I will order something different. The service was friendly, other than the fact that we all could barely understand our waiter, his accent was so thick.

Food for the bay area is ok. The condescending waiter insulted me in Italian as I left the restaurant! I not only understood what he said but, was so shocked I didnt answer as I was with my daughter. Weve been there spend a lot of money over the years. We will not be back. So if you enjoy being treated like garbage, go to Angelinos. They know how to serve up arogance well. Seems like the help at Angelinos cannot afford enough to have good manners.

Rica la comida, muy mala atencion y porciones demasiado pequeñas. El lugar estaba por cerrar y sin avisarnos nos dejaron entrar. Nos trajeron platos que no habiamos pedido. Atención muy pobre

The decor could use a little help, but it featured a beautiful view of the water and of San Francisco in the distance. the staff was quite rushed and give the impression they wanted to get you in and out as fast as possible. decent wine selection, although only a handful were available on glasses. the food was good, but was missing some nice touches necessary to make it shine.
