The ribeye steak was cooked exactly to order, but was drowned in garlic oil. Didnt have enough salt / pepper, as well. But the steak itself was okay quality and cooked really well. You get huge portions here and overall its reasonably priced. The food was subpar (except for the steak)- everything tasted canned or frozen. BUT the service was AWESOME. Made it much more enjoyable. Also, their hot chocolate is definitely powdered and they just add water, but I couldnt place the brand and it was pretty chocolatey. So I actually really enjoyed that, funnily enough. I would go back just because the service was so good, and because the steak was big enough to take home and have for breakfast!

Been coming here for over 20 years! We love this place. Everytime we come it feels like coming home to old friends. We hardly get to go since moving away from the city but whenever were back we always try and stop by here in this little joint in the Richmond District. My hubby loves the Philly Cheesesteak, I always order Spaghetti w/ Meatball w/ side order of Italian Sausage and the kids plate is looks like a regular plate. They give portions and its ALWAYS delicious and ALWAYS friendly and happy to see us again!

A of couple years ago I was working at this restaurant and last Friday I stopped by to grab a bite to eat. The food was great but my concern was focused on how the manager treated her employees. I went there thinking the manager had changed her behavior toward the employees but unfortunately she has NOT changed. She is constantly yelling at the employees and she doesnt distribute the tips to the employees, she keeps it all to herself. This is wrong and I hope she changes.

Ok so its cute... Waitress was friendly... It was quick service... Like too quick? This is NOT Italian food. My Chicken Parm came out in less then five minutes from the moment I ordered. And it was literally two slices of Swiss cheese on top of a huge weird piece of chicken. She told me the soup today was minestrone.... Definitely just canned chicken noodle soup. And I let my garlic bread sit for seriously one minute and its rock hard. No, just no.

A nice little place. Plenty of seating and decent service. When the food came it was a whole different ballgame. The fettuccine alfredo was atrocious. It tasted basically like the noodles was dunked into cream. No flavor whatsoever. The meat was even worse. The chicken was tough and had a slimy texture to it. No amount of great service can help these guys, unless they fire all the chefs and start over.

The ox tail stew is very delicious over rice. I went on my own and I would recommend this for a dinner for 1 person. Veal Pecod is also really tasty. It is on a white sauce that is very good as well over noodles.

The fettuccine de la casa is excellent… Any other restaurant in the bay area that dish would cost $20 plus and not be nearly as good. Garlic bread is also superb… Super great deal with quality. Very rare.

Highly recommend this place. The food was phenomenal. It is a small restaurant but its portions are huge. Make sure to try the clam chowder and bread sticks!! Best thing on the menu in my opinion.

Veal Cutlet was very good I can tell the cook knew what he was doing. I found out the cook has been there 18 yrs. Great experience for a small neighborhood cafe. Nothing fancy but good food.
