The first thing you will notice as you enter the restaurant is the smell from the carpet. The food is average and I have had better Omelette and Pancakes at other locations of this chain. There was minimal crowd and the servers werent as pleasant as other locations either. Food proportions are great and an Omelette with pancakes on the side can easily serve 2 people. There was nothing bad about my experience but theres nothing to remember as well.

Pretty run down breakfast place with enormous portions - way too much for one person to finish. I guess itll appeal to folks with a penchant for days gone by. Big (huge) omelets crammed with ingredients and very fluffy eggs. Pancakes are pretty standard. The unlimited coffee is pretty good. The decor is very spartan and coffeeshop-like, which is jarring in such a large space. Service is friendly, if a little slow.

Sometime you forget restaurant chains can actually serve very high quality, homemade-tasting food. The Original Pancake House definitely fits the bill. The pancakes are perfect and as fresh as advertised, including the ingredients, and the omelettes, while big enough to be mistaken for small countries, made me weep. Bring a doggie suitcase, and dont even think about going if youre just feeling peckish.

Large portions of mediocre food. Theres a wait to sit, even if the table is available when you walk in. At least that was my experience. Portions are very big, food is so-so, price is average, service is ok. Some people there are much nicer and more motivated than others. Overall, i wouldnt recommend this place unless you dont care much for atmosphere, and want a lot of (ok tasting) food.

Wife and I went there for the first time yesterday. Very good food, good coffee, service was fine (not slow, but it wasnt very crowded either). One order of pancakes is 8 regular size pancakes, so you better be hungry! We split an order, and 4 pancakes is plenty for me. Also, hash browns are actually more like country fried potatoes, but they were very good anyway. Ill never go to Ihop again.

We went there July 8 and we took their pancakes. The food was good and the service at the table was very correct. Its perfect for a Sunday breakfast. Just a bad point for the young blond guy who was unable to use my European visa, was rude and made us wait during long minutes at the desk. He looked a bit helpless and new in his job. Apart from that, I would recommend this place.

A very traditional American Style Pancake House, with lots of pancake variety, and quick service with a smile. The portions are not cheap but they are generous. Some of the Pancakes such as the Dutch Baby take 20-25 minutes because they are made from scratch. I had the Sourdough pancakes, and the portion was ginormous, honestly too big for me.

I come to this place for the Dutch Baby. Over time, the food quality has gone down. Service is very lousy. I think theres a recent ownership change. Now that Ive learned how to make Dutch Babies at home (they are very easy to bake--just watch some Youtube videos), I will no longer patronize this restaurant.

It may not be the actual original, but its a classic Pancake House, with every sort of pancake... including the Apple (Horta) Pancake, which should come on a plate that says, "No Kill I". Coffee and service are good, but can be really busy after church on Sunday.

Service was disorganized. We never knew who was supposed to be serving us. Also they forgot our sons milk. Food was just ok. The Dutch Baby looked spectacular but is actually kind of plain. The bathroom smelled. I would not go back.

If you like good pancakes, then this is the place for you. I almost always have the 49 flap jacks with a side of bacon. The sourdoughs are good. They also serve a Dutch baby, but thats too big for me to eat by myself.

I really like this spot. Its great for that waffle-house feel and food. I have started coming here pretty frequently with my husband. The food is always well made, hot, and fresh. The service is great, too!

Service was decent, and friendly if not warm. The Swedish pancakes are just as I remember them from years ago (which is good!), and it was busy, but we got seated right away on Sunday morning, so thats awesome.

Gets crowded quickly so try to go early. Quality has been on a decline in past years. Try the Dutch Baby or apple pancake. Hopefully they still do a good job on those signature dishes.
