This place was delicious and had beautiful, classy decor. It has a sports bar theme but upscale and classy. Big TVs mounted to the walls with the game on but there is also bottles of wine and liquor displayed on the wall behind the bar, which doubles as a water fountain. The food was good but nothing AMAZING. maybe my expectations were high. I had the rib eye and the wife had a brisket sandwich. The flavors in the sandwich were complex but balanced, no one ingredient outshines the other. The rib eye was juicy but nothing fancy. Thin cut and the char on the steak overpowered any herbal notes that were supposed to be present. The asparagus and mashed potatoes were delicious but again, nothing out of the ordinary in my opinion. I would go back for drinks and happy hour, not sure about a sit down dinner though

Great place to hang out for delicious lunch or brunch (bottomless Mimosas for you fans out there!) or a fabulous, well-prepared dinner at a reasonably moderate price. Nice outdoor seating on two sides of the building with nonstop people-watching. We ordered burgers (love the good helping of local greens between the meat and housemade bun) along with a generous basket of evenly salted fries with two dipping sauces). My spouses lemonade was exactly what the doctor ordered on a scorching hot afternoon (seating area is fully shaded, though) and my IPA was a fitting accompaniment. Decadent chocolate cake for dessert was a masterpiece and large enough for two to share. Service is friendly, and staff is efficient and helpful. Will definitely be back whenever in Napa!

This was the last night of our trip after being here a week. We had not planned our last evenings meal and so we came here by chance. We brought our own wine and ordered from the menu, the brisket is fantastic, we all shared some of the one ordered as an entrée, the portion was generous without being overwhelming. We had just been to Adastra winery and loved everything about them. Napkins partnership with Adastra has them providing fresh farm ingredients to the Menu. The food was fabulous all around and the service was very pleasant without being overly solicitous. we will return on our next trip.

I really enjoy Napkins Bar + Grill.. Its great for hanging out with some drinks, or enjoying a meal in a nice, and laid-back atmosphere. I like all of the historical photos of Napa that are lit on display above the bar. I also get such friendly service when go there. My favorite thing to get is the atlantic salmon fish sandwich lunch special!! It is always cooked to PERFECTION! Chef Erasto never dissapoints me :) I hope you try this place out and enjoy it as much as I do!

My girlfriend and I spent the day touring various wineries around Napa, and we needed a place to eat when we got back. Napkins did the job. The service was excellent, the food was decent enough (some gluten free options), and the setting was pleasant if a little dark. I would recommend this for a couple thats just trying to grab something decent and fairly cheap (for Napa). We were able to get a table without issue when many other places were already booked.

Warm welcome, attentive wait person, Jesila. The Twenty Four Sauvignon Blanc was tasty. Paired well with my fish and chips, though the fish was not crisp enough for my taste. Perfect fries and a nice arugula and cabbage salad with a nice vinegrett. My companions fried chicken sandwich was yummy,. $3.00 for sea salt on the fries is a tad much. They looked the same as the fries that came with the fish at no extra charge.

The staff is kind, cool and personable. Awesome happy hour from 3-6pm featuring good deals on their appetizers and $3 beers. The chicken sandwich and the burger are fantastic and a great value. The interior is extremely unique and pretty rad. I dont know any other restaurants that have a waterfall effect going on behind the bar. These nice things aside, the ownership has questionable business practices.

We went to this place on Christmas Day and were under the impression that it will be too late for any serving as only a handful restaurents were open that day. To our surprise the food service was very fast, they accommodated our family (20 people) and food was delicious. You cannot go wrong with this restaurent as they know what customer service is and everyone in the restaurent strives for excellence.

So much good stuff to say about this place, its one my favorite places in town! Everything Ive tried here is delicious, but the burger tops my list. The service is always impeccable whether we sit at the bar with the ambiance of the waterfall or if we sit at a table, were never disappointed. I highly recommend this place for a great drink and an excellent lunch or dinner.

The food was delicious, the wine list was awesome, the staff was super friendly and personable, and the location was perfect. The vegetable Wellington was one of the best dishes Ive ever had in a restaurant. The phrase "bar and grill" may be in the name, but it tasted more like a gourmet restaurant. I would definitely recommend it!

Walked in, were seated, had the waitress explain the specials and say she would be back. Sat at our table for 15 minutes and she walked by repeatedly and never took our drink order or asked if we had questions. Did I mention the place was practically empty? We decided to leave when our waitress never returned.

Came into Napkins today for a late lunch and ordered the Hot pastrami and my husband had the Fish and Ships. We were both so outstandingly happy with the outcome of our food. The servers were very attentive and had great recommendations. A definite must have if you are in Downtown Napa!!!

Got dinner with my friend at Napkins a couple weeks ago. Very good experience. Its an upscale experience, and all the food is great. My friend and I got the tostada with salmon, and the shrimp and grits. Both were absolutely delicious, service was well, and I would definitely return.

Napkins Bar and Grill is one of my fav spots in Napa, it has a full bar and great happy hour 7 days a week for food and drinks. Great food and service in the heart of Napa...would highly recommend! Night life of weekends starting at 10pm with live DJ and dancing!

Went in and waited 15 minutes just to order a drink after we were seated. Had the fish, which it was prepared wonderful, but there was no seasoning at all. We order Vanilla Bean Ice cream for dessert. It was regular vanilla. All around pretty sad experience.

Came in for brunch on Sunday with my family sat outside in the patio enjoyed the beautiful downtown view. My smoked salmon Benedict was phenomenal, and the pancakes were so well paired with the fruit. The waitress was attentive and the food was delicious.

Ive never seen a place be a full out club at night and a nice little breakfast/brunch spot in the morning. They have great coffee, food and flavored bottomless mimosas. Definitely hit the spot after the night I had dancing there!
