Recently went to see an AC/DC cover band. Oddly enough the band didnt play any AC/DC songs. The staff didnt know what band it was and apparently didnt have the ability or desire to find out for us. Later asked the band themselves if they were the AC/DC cover band and they said they were (band was pretty mediocre too). Then why not a single song by...you know...AC/DC? Talk about a scene from the Twilight Zone. My date ordered a refill on her drink and the waitress forgot about us. My glass of wine was good. Its a dive bar, so my expectations were low. Its okay. Nothing to tell someone about.

Vancouver still has a few old school taverns, and this is the best. Good food, good drinks, good music, a friendly and diverse crowd, and a real actual fire out back where you can smoke and enjoy your beer. Ive visited the vast majority of taverns in the state of Washington, and a heck.of a lot of places in the other 50 States and around the world. A wood fire is quite unique. Places like this are mostly gone in Seattle and rapidly disappearing in Portland.

Grew up behind this place in Hearthwood back when it was a big time biker bar in the 80s. This place kind of changes every five years or so, then kind of changes back. I go in here occassionally more for nostalgia than anything, hoping to see someone I know from back in the day but usually dont recognize anyone. Great for a quiet beer in the afternoon, and lively for football games. Great blues music with a cover.

I love this place! Ive been a regular customer for years, so the staff is like family. The owner takes pride in his bar; you can tell by the great sound system and the beautiful fire pit out back that he doesnt mind spending money on improvements. The drinks are great and the food is pretty good, too. Theres live music Thursday through Saturday and karaoke Sunday through Wednesday, so its always a fun atmosphere!

Last night was by far the worst experience Ive ever had at a bar! Worst service ever! The bartender checked our IDs and then walked away. Had to wait ten minutes to get a drink while other people were getting drinks without a problem. It was even my birthday and the bartender didnt notice when checking my ID! Never going back again! Also who does last call before 1am? Dont bars close at 2?

The staff is great there are two servers in particular that are amazing. The foods decent and beers are cold. Im there almost every week for pool league and have heard they are going to be getting diamond tables soon. Crowd is a tad older and have live music after 9 pm but I personally think the bands they have kind of suck.

Every drink I ordered was either made incorrectly or severely over poured. Some people like strong drinks but this was taking it to another level. Not a single person I was with enjoyed their drink. We were able to get our cover charge back when we decided to leave which is the only reason I feel it deserves the one star.

Got one drink when we first arrived. Later asked three different waitresses for a menu----each of them forgot. A couple minutes after asking the last one, she came to our table & said " you guys O.K. here? We just looked at her, got up & left. How hard is this JOB? I never had a problem doing it!!

Great personable service and comfort food. Was curious for years what this place is like and was pleasant surprised. Cook was asking how we liked our food, waitress -dittos. My wife and I arr not really drinkers, but we have found several taverns that have awesome food. Enjoy!

Food is ok. The portions are pretty big. The drinks are ok and reasonablly priced. The best time to go is around 4pm. The bar is pretty empty and you get pretty good service in a good amount of time. They have live bands on the wkends and the place tends to get pretty crowded.

I come here to play pool sometimes. They have great live music and the people who sing karaoke are usually pretty good. They only have two pool tables but the food isnt bad and its pretty busy and the service is tolerably good.

An instutition. Halfway between one blob of new strip malls and the other there is a bar that has been around forever and this is it. Roomy, great staff, great customers, three pool tables, basically all you need from a bar.

Met friends at this pub to listen to the band New Shilling, and for some food and drinks. Lots of parking, pool tables, bar seating and the other side has table, booths and a bar seating to watch the bands. Decent food.

This was my first time in Cascade Bar and Grill in a really long time! The band outside was amazing! Everybody was extremely friendly! My waitress Michelle was very tentative and treated me like a good friend;)

Im not sure if the bar is still like this, but they used to let a ton of minors in all the time. I got in every time before I was 21, and most of the other patrons looked like they were still in high school.
