I had mix experiences with Big Mouth Burgers and I think it depends who is working as a cashier. I always order a veggie burger and a milkshake, the veggie burger is always good , the fries sometimes are crispy and fresh , other times are soggy and taste like they are been re-fried . The shakes can also be really good or really bad , once I had to ask 3 times to the cashier to add ice cream to my shake that looked like water, but she was very nice about it, no attitude at all :)

Mitchells ice-cream milkshakes for less than the cost of a scoop at Mitchells. Forget the glass, its served in the stainless mixer "cup"! Food was good too. A bunch of veggie and vegan "burgers", onion rings taste like they were dipped in hush puppie batter (Mmmm!), and I thought the fish n chips were excellent. My daughter said her cheese burger was perfect and she is a finicky 9-year-old.

My favorite burger joint in the area. The toasted bun and the fact that they make it to order helps gives this place a solid 4 stars. I like that each order defaults with fries, I swap them out for onion rings w/ ranch. Burgers could be more flavorful, but Im glad they dont over-season since a little ranch/ketchup solves that problem. Lastly, they bring you your food which is nice.

A long time favorite of mine. Great burgers at an affordable price. Nieman ranch sustainably raised beef, 1/3 pound burger and great fries what else is needed at a burger joint. The staff is great as well. Have a beer or a shake with your meal, too. Underrated!

Good stuff! Convenient to get to, the staff is nice and friendly and the food is super tasty. Wish they had more outdoor seating, but if youre lucky you can snag a spot right on the street and enjoy some people watching in the Mission.

This place has the best chicken sandwiches. They cook it after you order so it does take some time to get the food, but its worth the wait. They have the best spicy mayo that Ive never had anywhere else. Oh, and its really filling.

This is my absolute favorite burger place in San Francisco right now. The room is unpretentious, the burgers are good with interesting toppings, and they serve beer. Get the small mouth, its all youll need.

I love their Blue Cheese Burger and ask for it medium-rare with grilled onions. In general I think they over cook the burgers. I like it a bit more juicy. But the ingredients here are fresh and good.

not a huge burger fan anyway, to be fair; got one to go and found the bottom bun soaked with juices. its nice to have juicy meat, but it made for a less pleasant eating experience.
