I was really excited to see this place open so close to home and finally got the chance to go there Sunday evening. It was moderately busy and with only 3 people in line, I didnt think twice about the wait time. I ordered my burger and eagerly waited... for whole 45 minutes for my burger to arrive. When they finally brought it out, I saw my skimpy side of fries and was informed that they ran out & making a new batch now (ok no problem). Shortly they bring me a freshly overcooked batch of fries - mm appetizing. All while having a ear to mouth conversation with my companion over booming 00s alternative music. And occasionally eaves dropping on a nearby sitting family of 4 while theyre swearing over their messed up order and demanding refunds.. Needless to say, this was the first and the very last time I will ever visit Killer Burger in Gresham. I hope it closes as swiftly as it went up and opens up a space for a better managed establishment. Cuz at this point they will have to pay me to return there, or any Killer Burgers at this point. Its kinda like a food poisoning experience that ruins the taste for something for the rest of your life. I wish you luck if you chose to brave this place.

The burgers were large and filling, but the flavor just wasnt where it was expected. We tried two different burgers, the classic and a mushroom and Swiss. Both were covered in sauce for the type of burger and each had toppings that were fresh and well made. The classic was better just because it had less sauce. The mushroom and Swiss just tasted salty. Maybe it was the bacon; maybe it was the sauce. You couldnt even taste the Swiss cheese on the mushroom and Swiss burger. Both burgers missed one big thing: the burger. You could not taste the most important ingredient, the beef, in either burger. They werent juicy, just covered with sauce. This is my biggest issue, since we could not tell if it was quality ingredient. Perhaps it was that they were overcooked; or, the patties sat under a heat lamp for a while and dried out; or, the patties were old and freezer burned. No matter the reason, nearly any other burger joint would have done it better. So, yes, it was filling. It was a bit pricey (totalled over $30 for two burgers and sodas). They nearly did everything that most places miss. They missed the one spot where it probably matters most.

The wait was long, but that was not why I had a bad experience. The assistant manager came to our table and asked if we had the fun guy burger in our order. I did. He said they had just run out of mushrooms. I asked him to just make the burger as usual without the mushrooms. The couple next to us said she had ordered the same burger but they did not say anything to her (they were there after us). My burger was delivered without cheese and mushrooms. The sauce was mostly mustard and was not good at all. Less than 10 minutes later the couple next to me received their order with "mushrooms and swiss cheese" on her burger. On our way out my husband asked the manager why that happened. He looked surprised and said " we just received a delivery of mushrooms in time for her order. REALLY!!!! It was 7pm on a Saturday night and they had mushrooms delivered minutes after my order was made. Hmmmmmmmmmm Wont be back!

First time I went here it was a mostly positive experience, food was surprisingly good. It was rather busy in there and the ice machine wasnt working. And they did nothing to put a sign up or even attempt to look at it. Extremely lazy front counter staff. Now a few weeks later my wife and I called in a order to go. Due to the weather, we didnt feel like cooking. My wife gets there 30 min after the order was placed. They still had not put in our order so my wife called to ask what she should do. I told her to ask if theyd offer a slight discount for not prepping the order. They said no... sooooo I wont be going back... sad to say because they do have decent food. So if you dont give a crap about customer service and only care about the food then this is the place for you. If I ever go back, Ill update this review. And Ill make a note of it.

Went there on a rainy day and was surprised the roof was leaking in the restaurant. The floor was a tad bit wet and slippery but easily avoidable. They had buckets out to catch the water. The food quality was great, The fries were super tasty. My biggest complaint was the sauce they put on all the burgers was very strong tasting and overpowering to the point it made the burgers taste bad. My other "beef" is after you order and you go to pay their iPad pay app they have for a register prompts you for a tip. What for ? A tip for ordering ? You have not done anything to get a tip yet. I had to get my own drink, stand in line and wait to order and refill my own cup. If the owner is relying on supplementing they employees salary via tipping just skip this step and add it to the cost.

A bit disappointed as Im a fan of a few of the other killer Burger locations, had to wait almost a half hour for our order (one classic and one black Molly) watched half the people that came in after us get food first, when our food came the classic was on point but the black Molly was barely warm and the bottom bun was soggy as if it had been waiting for awhile. Also watched another table with two couples who came in together, ordered back to back but had somewhere between 10-15 minutes between the first and second couples getting their food. all in all, I think Ill be sticking to the Killer Burger on Sandy which although smaller, seems WAY more efficient.

The place reminds me of a regular burger dive. The staff was awesome and had no issues piling on the fries for us. We got take out which took a little longer than usual but was not a terrible wait. Food was hot even after driving back and fries were still crispy! The meat was good and the veggies were fresh. I had the PB and bacon burger which was good but needed real peanut butter and not whatever was supposed to be flavored peanut butter. Over a very pleasant experience for our first lunch trip. Looking forward to more but I would not recommend for a quick stop as it gets full fast and the burgers are made fresh so the line backs up quick.

Still no gluten free buns? This place has excellent food and service. They also play great music. That said, Im docking two stars for those of us that still want a simple gluten free bun. Heads up owners and management, there are several good options out there to make a deal with, so why not? This is 2017 and GF is now pretty mainstream. Youre missing out on a new way to advertise and get a ton more customers through your doors. Using a bun to eat a killer burger instead of slapping it on a pile of lettuce would definitely grant this place 5 full delicious stars.
