Found Baker Street Bistro when looking for a brunch spot in the Presidio/Cow Hollow area. Fortunately, it wasnt too crowded on a Sunday for a late Brunch. The patio area out front is comfortable, though the tables were not particularly level. The service was a little awkward, but nice none the less. Had the French Toast and the eggs benedict. The French Toast excellent, with fresh strawberries and cream. The eggs benedict was also very good, along with the accompanying home fries. Its not overly fancy for being a French bistro, but the modest prices reflect that - its a very good value for the price! It took a while to get and return the check (maybe we were just in too much of a rush). Would return and try dinner on another outing.

Wholly satisfactory. Not great. Perhaps it was due to arriving within an hour before closing. This restaurants in a quieter part of San Francisco and welcomes you to a warm and artsy interior. We didnt wait long before our friendly server seated us. We ordered the Sauteed Chicken Breast and New York Steak as our entrees. Unfortunately, the kitchen ran out of mashed potatoes, so we had to make do with fries. The bread roll did not come out warm and soft, but instead was hard and cold. The chicken tasted bland and the steak was okay, but better steak can be had for the same price. I would like to give this place a chance again, especially during brunch hours when Im in town again.

Always solid, with friendly bistro style service, and wonderful French delights. The French Onion Soup is very hearty, which is how I like it. The Tartare is always a joy, but not too overwhelming a portion, which is great as it gives you an opportunity to try other treats from the menu. Everything is enjoyable, and for what it is (slow, relaxed service and atmosphere), its perfect.... a cute little local bistro to enjoy when you arent sure where else to go! =) Thanks for being there, and see you soon, see you again, bonne journee!

Food did not disappoint. The salmon was done nicely, buttery, not over cooked, and the skin was crispy. Great onion soup. The escargot could go with a bit of extra pesto and garlic or whatever the season it was because it was slightly bland. Lamb rack/chop was delicious and cooked right. The restaurant is a bit small and tables are very closed together. So do expect to overhear next table if everyone starts to talk loudly.

Cute, hole-in-the-wall French place right near Final Final. Id been by here a million times and never seen it but stopped in the other night on a recommendation. The service was good and the ambiance kinda old-school. The food was just ok, I got the seafood stew and it was tasty but a little bland. Large portion though, I was definitely stuffed afterwards.

I am in San Francisco for 15 days escaping the heat. I been having 500 dlls dinners with friends and local business partners. This Bistro puts them to shame. I just pulled over for quick bite. Amazing menu, wines, service, at OK prices. Small non thrills but the best I had thus far.

Nice quiet brunch spot away from the busyness of the rest of the Marina. Its French so you can get an amazing croque monsieur and they also have a bunch of varieties of eggs benedict. Service is kind of slow and indifferent, european style.

Packed with locals having long, lingering diners with lots of lively conversation - this place is very special. The food ranges from good to exceptional and is extremely well priced. Wedge yourself in and have a wonderful experience.

Authentic french cooking, simple and no nonsense food. A while since I have been here and was shocked at the increased prices. If you love french food and can live with the slightly cramped seating you will have a wonderful meal.

Absolutely incredible French cuisine. The atmosphere of the restaurant is phenomenal as well. Parking is obviously going to be a little tough to find sometimes, but its definitely worth it.

Nice place, the food tasted good. Decent french cuisine. Portion could have been bigger. Also a bit pricy due to the fact that they charged an automatic tip.

Was not what I expected. Soup of the day was okay. My husband requested a well done hamburger and received it medium rare. Restroom needs attention.

The food was crazy salty! If you dont used to go strong on salt ask ahead of time for light salt, especially on fries. The lemonade was delicious.

Service was both friendly and slow. Not sure about the rest of the menu, but their croque madame needs some work.

The oeufs copenhague were quite tasty. The chef, or was it the waiter, had a legit French accent. The real deal.
