My wife worked at the 99cent store for a while across the way which sells produce. Every morning the people from GRAND BUFFET come over and buy up most of the produce daily. That same produce is grown mostly in China which uses human feces as fertilizer. Not to mention its also the worst GMO crap available. So Schilling out pennies on the dollar for fecal GMOs and dishing it out to the public is pretty disgusting dont you think??? Its legal... They pass food inspections the temperature and preparation is up to code. But when you go in there and sit down look around you...are any Chinese people eating there? The answer is NO. They know better... Also the cookies used in their brownish banana pudding slop they serve to the masses are the same DRAGON brand almond cookies sold @ the 99cent store in the little pink boxes. This outrages me, I feel taken advantage of especially after paying sky high dinner prices @ $15 per person a number of times. I feel as if the workers there smile inside knowing naive patrons are shoveling this garbage down their pieholes in herds. Avoid this if you care about your familys health. There are better Chinese restaurants than this one. I hope I reach at least one person with my review here. Really, really gross to think about the quality of ingredients.

Bowls for soup smell like bleach, making the food taste like bleach. Brought this up to the staff, they gave an excuse that some company regulates their dish washer and the have no control. Sea food/shell fish is mixed into the buffet next to all the other foods. I have an allergy, so Im not even going to try foods that are sitting next to anything with shellfish in it. Told staff, they excused their lack of consideration for allergies by saying they cant just isolate goods from each other. If youre in food/customer service & your immediate response to a valid complaint/health risk isnt an apology..then youve officially lost my business. Gross & unprofessional.

The place is hit and miss. Ive been 3 times, and the second time the food was dried as if it had been sitting there for too long, or the cooks overcooked it. The other two times, the food was cooked well, and I had learned what items I liked or disliked. The staff are always friendly and quick to clear your plates. Staff could be a bit more aware of your drink level though, as you cant refill drinks on your own.

Good was ok. Have coupons but there are SO many restrictions and they charge dinner prices for lunch on Sundays. Kids under 3 eat free on Sunday, UNLESS youre using a coupon and most coupons require purchasing 2 drinks! So confusing! Take out is buy 1# (prices vary by day) get the second at half price, but the second has to be at least a pound, spend more than $10, get a free soup. Under $10, NO SOUP FOR YOU!

A great variety of different foods to try and enjoy. The quality is good for what it is. The only thing that I am disappointed in is the sushi, they are just not very good, and usually mislabeled. My most recent visit I selected a Spicy Tuna roll, and thought it looked different but tried it anyways. It was some sort of Pickled Ginger roll, with a sweet pickle. Still the rest of the food was good.

I really do enjoy their food. I love how nice and clean this restaurant is. If you have family visiting you I will definitely recommend to bring them here. I will say some waitress/waiters doesnt really give good service. The latest I would come here is like an hour before they close thats when they usually stop bringing food out. The food is usually too dry and not alot of selections to choose.

Been here before when it was good went tonight and holy crap how its changed, awful and I mean really awful. Ten minutes to get someone to come to the Mongolian grill after four workers walked by me all making eye contact, twenty minutes to get my drink refilled. Lets just say if I dont get sick it will be a god send. And to note will never return to this crap fest ever again.

We went in for lunch before 330 and were charged for dinner. 42 dollars for 3 ppl and the food was so bad! The girls behind the counter were very rude and not attentive to the guests. Ive worked in the food industry for years and the fact that this place is still doing business and getting any kind of award is a disgrace to redding.

Meh, overall. About 10 types of sushi to select from, plus Americanized Chinese dishes. The food doesnt feel fresh. The sushi selection isnt refilled too quickly. Not vegetarian friendly, theres no way to know if a dish has meat/fish or not. Still, reasonable price (14.24 for lunch), and overall the taste is OK, so is the service.

This is the best buffet style Asian restaurant I have eaten in. They keep the food hot and fresh and have a much broader variety of entree choices including multiple styles of fish, pork, and calamari. Their desserts are always good, too. They have senior pricing as well and the environment is quite comfortable and quiet.

This place can be a 3 star if you go at the right time and a 1 star if you miss it or go late. I would not bring out of towners here to impress them obviously but if its around noon and you want all you can eat "sort of ok" sushi or you just want to stuff yourself and you have an iron gullet then go.

Ive only been here once and it was pretty nice. Not like most oriental restaurants, which is what I expected. Nice open area and I mean come on, how can you go wrong with a buffet? Yummy food. Someone else paid so Im not sure about the pricing but it was a nice visit.

Usually a great experience, they have improved their food greatly however when dining at the change from lunch to dinner we were accused of lying and stealing from them. Then upon their investigation we were found not guilty. And I wish you all a real great day

One of my favorite buffets anywhere. Good selection of Chinese and Japanese food, as well as some American. Includes sushi, fish, crab legs (dinner), Mongolian barbecue, dim sum, etc, as well as salads, usually a few dishes like pizza, and dessert.

Went early for lunch. Some of the entries were stale, especially the sushi. The stuff tasted OK. Condiment tray and condiments unsanitary. Later in the day wife experienced Montezumas revenge. Not happy. Wont eat there again.

Very good food, but I noticed that the workers in there think that all Americans dont know different languages than just english, plus they sit there and watch you eat when they just stand there, awkward need different workers!!!

This is just over processed pre-made food provided by Sysco. They charge you an extra $2 a drink and never refill. Do not waste your time eating here. If you like buffets just go to Hometown, not great but MUCH better than this.
