Beware. Bait and Switch. 2/3/12 Twelve Noon: Myself, my spouse and our 6 year old child stopped by Super Buffet. There were no prices posted, so we asked. It was one dollar per year for children, and $11 per adult. We didnt ask about drinks, that is our fault. (FYI Drinks are not included, but they are stale!) The food left everything to be desired. "Steaming" food (it was really the hot bar that was steaming) was lukewarm. Which you dont find out until you put it to your mouth. That turned to "cold and disgusting" pretty quickly. Several foods intended to be crispy were soggy and stale. The waitress brought our son water in a 20oz open topped tumbler, full to the brim. I understand if you dont have smaller cups, but any waitress should know better than to fill a large cup to the top for a child sitting at a table thats armpit level. Our 6 year old *needed help* getting a drink so as not to dump the entire thing in his lap. Requests for a smaller cup were completely ignored, I have no idea if they own smaller cups. The napkins in the tabletop dispenser smell like insecticide. (Luckily the napkins wrapped around the silverware dont) Three other diners sitting nearby loudly agreed. There is also a major communication problem. When asking a question or making a statement to an employee you only get a Yes/No and a smile in return. And the Yes/No was never a logical response to the question or statement. A busboy tried to take my plate from right in front of me, as I was eating, six or seven times. The cherry on top of the cake from hell: the bill. Our bill was $44. I am still so angry. If this had been any other type of business (where I had not already consumed the good) I would have refused to buy and walked out. AND THEY KNOW THAT. Thats why they LIED about the prices when we asked. -We were charged FIFTEEN dollars per adult. Thats an extra $8 (for two) over quoted price. -One unsweetened tea and one soda were $3 each. -Tap water was a dollar. A dollar for 10 cents of tap water! -Buffet for a 6 yr old: Six dollars right? No. Seven. Never in my life have I been so furious as I paid for something.

Never again !!! I called before going into the restaurant to ask how much dinner per person was, he replies 14.99!! Okay so we walk in & the lady yells like from the middle of the restaurant how many ? We said 3 then they yell okay over here like what the hell tell everyone where your seating us. Ugh so rude then the lady rushes us what do you want to drink. Two water and one Sprite she comes back all water... Smh I seriously hate the fact that we just got there an didnt enjoy it.. Then we eat an they constantly say when were about to get up to get desert or something else they say (done finish) no can we enjoy our dinner!! Then they didnt come to ask about drinks being refilled.. I just didnt even want to eat while I was there, like the vide of their rudeness just made me not hungry anymore.. Then were done she gave us the check and I said umm how much is dinner she said 17.95 an I said before I came in I called an the guy told me 14.99 ! She said oh no sorry its different price !! Umm what ? How is a 30 min phone call change the price... Then I said okay so as she walked up to the cashier I called the same number I used before we walked in.. An we see the guy answer again an o asked the same question an his response is 14.99 again... So I walk to the lady she gives me my check to sign an I tell her I just called an the same guy answered an said 14.99 an all she says thank sorry. What the heck !! So I walk up to the guy an say I just called you again to ask how much an you told me 14.99. He said yes but with drinks ... Umm we both got water an then he said oh still 17.sum because tax. So you mean to tell me 14.99 went to 17. Sum wven tho we didnt get any soda, he said oh still 17sum plus tax ? Okay guy which is it? 17 sum with soda too and 17 sum without soda then you say oh 17sum with tax... Then my total was 35.60 he said your total is 3540 with no drinks.. Like omg...yall need to make sure you dont get over charged !!!!!!!!!!

The worst dining experience hands down I have ever experienced!! Went here yesterday evening for dinner with my child and a couple of friends and their children. The food, all of it tasted as if it had been sitting under a warmer all day... Nothing was fresh, to the point that mid-way during my dinner and I had to run to the restroom and vomited. THEN while my two girlfriends and their kids were still eating dinner one of their workers comes over trying to collect payment for our dinners. We werent even remotely done! She didnt listen at all to the request of separating out bills, so she had to go redo that. I paid cash and my two friends used their credit/debit cards. One of my friends bill total was $34, they charged her $340. And then tried to say they didnt when my friend showed her bank phone app proving they just overcharged her by $300. She had to get to the point where she was getting very upset before they even took it seriously and then after that my friend wouldnt not let them charge her card again (for obvious reasons) and they threatened in front of the whole restaurant to call the cops on her! I personally had to ask two separate workers for my change over 5 times not even kidding one bit. It was truly the most awkward and unprofessional experience at a restaurant I have ever had in my life. To say I will not be returning here is an understatement, I feel people need to know how they operate truthfully and if you are wanting to spend $18/person on dinner there are many many other good establishments to go. Definitely NOT Super Buffer in Lacey, WA!!!

Apparently some of you one star raters have never been to a Chinese buffet. Its not a formal dining experience folks. When you enter, they quickly call out to you to get you seated, they ask you what you want to drink and then you go and get your food. My family and I have eaten here dozens of times and never have we gotten ill. They have a very large selection hot dishes and they replenish depleted items quickly. They also have an awesome sushi bar. I find it amusing how some of you complain about them speaking in a different language. Clue: its a Chinese buffet! They are Chinese and they are speaking Chinese. Oh and one more thing for those of you who are complaining about them not speaking English. Maybe you should learn to write proper English yourselves, because your reviews make you seem illiterate.

I dont usually go out and eat fancy, Im more of a McDonalds and Pizza hut type of guy but holly crap this is the most disgusting and horrible restaurant Ive ever been too, first off there are no decorations and the seats are ripped up, the silverware is literally rolled from either tissue paper or toilet paper, my silverware had lots of crusty stains on it, and my drink had a lipstick stain on it. The food was God awful, the desserts were literally straight out of the box from the Chinese store, and when I took a bite out of the dumpling I swear something was moving inside, they do overprice as well, and the servers were quite rude. I swear the manager doesnt give a damn about costumer service as long as theyre making money with the cheap expired food they buy to over charge us, never going back again.
