I had to take a star off the rating because there was one incident at this Yard House where there was a glass shard found in my drink. Other than that Ive never really had a complaint about this place. One of my favorite items to order here is the steak salad. Its a mix of spring greens, pickled egg and of course steak (which comes cooked medium by default). The balsamic vinaigrette they use pairs perfectly with everything in the salad. Also try the crispy duck wings, they fry them up perfectly and the skin is perfectly crispy while the meat is kept nice and juicy. They are tossed in a kind of sweet and sour Asian-inspired sauce. This last visit I ordered the lobster garlic noodles, which were perfect. There was a mix of mushrooms in the noodles that complemented the salty seafood-y flavor of the dish. In my opinion, the lobster was way overdone and had become chewy in my meal and a little bit on the cold side (especially compared to the noodles themselves) and the shrimp was a little overcooked, but the flavors were all very good. I had inadvertently made a selection of "rose" adult beverages. The first was the hibiscus rose which was made of "bulldog gin, st. germain, lillet blanc, monin hibiscus, [and] orange bitters" which was not too strong and not too fruity. Made for a very good aperitif. With my meal I chose a beer (I know strange combination), the rose garden which was half hoegaarden and half framboise but was a little on the tart side, I dont know if they used Lindemanns framboise because it was quite tart - more tart than I remember. Overall I enjoy dining at Yard House, they have a huge selection of beers and spirits to choose from and their menu selections have rarely disappointed me. Its one of the best dining choices of youre in the Rancho area.

I went here on Saturday night, the night before Valentines Day. It was PACKED. When I got my buzzer, I was told it would be an hour for a table for 2. Sure enough, it was. While waiting, we went to the bar, but it took 10 minutes for a seat to open up for us there. The people we were sitting next to at the bar told us that they chose to go here because the restaurant next door had a 2 hour wait! Besides fact that it was PACKED and the busiest Ive ever seen a restaurant, it was really good. We started with the lobster, crab, and artichoke dip. It was good, but not the best crab dip Ive had before. They give you way more chips and pita bread than there is dip for, so we ran out of dip with many chips and bread still left. We even scraped the bowl and spoon clean! Not sure if its worth the $13, though. Ive had Yard Houses appetizer nachos before, and those come in HUGE portions (enough for 4) and are SO worth the price. We only went for something different this time because we always get the nachos. The fried chicken was a good portion size and tasted nice and crispy, but not really worth the $17. Came with baked beans and creamed corn on the size. Neither were that great, but the mashed potatoes were amazing! We also got the full rack of St. Louis ribs. They were really nice! Great portion size for $24 - actually worth it! Came with huge bowls of baked beans and creamed corn on the side, which once again, werent that great and didnt get touched much by us. The highlight for me was the dessert. We ordered the featured item - the banana berry macadamia nut crumble with coconut ice cream. SO GOOD! It was a great portion size for the two of us to share, and the flavor was worth the $9 price.

Went last night.. bad experience ever!!,, service was so bad!!!.. waited and waited for our drinks.. didnt come so went to the bar got 2 drinks.. sat down at our table. finally waiter came over.. I told him the service was bad.. and I needed to speak to the manager.. at that point.. the drinks fell onto me!! and the waiter says "wow.. guess thats going to make matters worse huh".. I proceeded to get up and walk out. Manager Grant said sorry.. and that he would pick up a a round of beer for us next time but did not give us any kind of voucher just said he would remember us!!.. never going there again!!!

Pros: nice atmosphere, big beer selection, truffle fries were great, and the menu was diverse. Cons: took 30 minutes to order a beer and another 30 min to get the beer. We ordered the house special Mac and cheese. The full portion was the exact same size as the half. The dish didnt include half the things listed in the menu. I wouldve ordered another beer but didnt feel like waiting another half hour. Turns out we had to wait another half hour for the waitress to run our tabs, anyway. Its no wonder they include the gratuity with the tab.

Order a gin and tonic with a lime. About 15 minutes later, I was brought a gin and tonic but no lime. 10 minutes later I was brought some sliced lemon. Since the drink was close to 30 minutes old, I asked for them to replace my untouched drink with a Bud light. They brought out a Coors light, then they finally brought a Bud light. It was flat. The manager appologised and said I could have any drink on him. I went back to a gin and tonic, no carbonation at all, totally flat so I left that also. Food was ok. Dont think we will be going back.

Held a wedding rehearsal dinner for a party of more than twenty people. Due to weather issues, the staff had to relocate us at the last minute and change wait staff for our party. Despite the definite adversity, they gave us exceptional service. The food was delicious, the staff demeanor delightful, and the General Manager of the restaurant made it his mission to check on us personally, more than once. I highly recommend this location, not just for a terrific dining experience, but as a perfect place to host an event.

My fiance and I went last night for our engagement party but when our name was called, we still didnt have half our party there. We told them the occasion and said they could give our table away because we wouldnt have everyone there on time. The staff and manager was extremely nice and polite and tried working with us as much as possible. Even when 2 of our group got a little too drunk, all the waiters were so nice and even apologized for getting them drunk lol. Overall outstanding service from everyone there

Love the updates to their menu. The manager had a bartender that did not know how to make my mans drink properly. The manager made sure it was done correctly and removed the drink from our bill for the problem. Its not having a problem that is the real issue, it is how the restaurant handles it. We love their halibut with mashed potatoes. Of course, we love their happy hour. Especially after a long day, you can go their late and still get a great dish!

I gave three stars only because even thou it took over an hour to get our food, it was still good. And after the manager finally came over and explained that the kitchen "lost" our ticket (which in my theory being a waitress myself, was not entered instead of lost) he then offered to take care of our entire meal. So one lousy waitress made the dinning experience crappy but food was good and I appreciate the manager admitting fault and taking care of us.
