1 Lb burger with Onion Rings and a chocolate shake. Life is good. If you are a burger fan you must try Fuddruckers. They are famous for the ability to customize your own burgers. The "salad" bar of topping allows you to have it your way every time that you go. No this is not In-N-Out. If you like small burgers with only cheese and meat with a bun bigger than both, no need to go here but if you want a real burger you came to the right place. Man vs Food! The only way to eat a burger is 1lb with filled with toppings. I usually add at least 2 to 4 pieces of each topping such as onions, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, etc. For me the best feature is not the topping bar. The meat!! Go MEAT! The meat is aged butcher meat. For those non-meat fanatics, normal meat is about 70% water like a human body. Aged meat allows the water to dry out leaving just juice meat (less water). So a 1lb burger is a burger, not water + burger. How many burger joints sever meat from their own butcher shop? The second best thing is the warm buttery sesame seed bun that is fresh baked in the Fuddruckers bakery. Soft and moist yum! Last but not least, the SHAKE! I cant help but thing of the Carls Jr commercial with a man shaking a cow when I think shake. HAHA. The Shakes here are made with about 95% premium ice cream and about 5% ice or milk. The best shakes are the kind you cannot drink through a straw. I like to use a spoon or just gulp it down. And thousands of calories later Im in heaven. The smallest size is 1/3 LB burger if you are not a big eater. Sometimes, it is a good idea to share the 1Lb burger combo. At around, $13 for 2 people thats not bad. That is like ordering a Carls Jr 6 dollar burger and a standard meal. Save your money skip the fast food and drive to Fudd. Also, I heard they have bomb nachos and feature a buffalo burger. Give Fuddruckers a try next time you are near one. They will still never beat Nations and Giants Hamburger. I still have yet to try Knowlwood and The Counter. For now, Fudd is king in lake forest.

I love this place because they let you make your own burger, they cant screw it up! The meat is good quality and your left to your particular taste as to construct whatever burger youd like on that day. The ingredients are not plentiful but very stereotypical for a burger joint. The fries are very nicely seasoned, but I cant recommend anything other than that as the one time I tried a salad it was truly a nightmare. The service is a bit slow, but every patty IS made to order. The establishment is very retro and clean. The prices are a bit higher than they should be, but other than that it really is hard to find a better tasting burger because your able to select the perfect ingredients and the perfect amounts.

I LOVE this location of Fuddruckers!!! They always do my burger the way I want it!! If I want medium rare, I GET medium rare!! If you dont get what you want or need, talk to ANNA who is so sweet and accommodating! Shell make sure its right!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!! Sign up for their email and youll get fantastic BOGO coupons too and you get one pretty much EVERY WEEK!!!!!! This is my FAVORITE BURGER PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ive been going here for somewhere between 20 to 30 years and as long as they make my burger medium rare to rare, I will continue to go!!!!!!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Have eatin here twice in the last 6 months.. have tried there elk burger and there buffalo burger both were very good and juicy and had flavor.Food was very good for me, stick with burgers through many experimental things on the menu. Reminds me a little bit of Carls. Jr. Give us options of pepsi or coke, fix the decor and read your feedback. Even though price is high you could do much to justify the value of a burger combo for over $16 per person.

This place has a fun atmosphere, retro with arcades and you can make your own burger. The food is pretty tasty but a little pricey. Maybe it is my fault since you can add anything to your burger, but I think other burger places taste better. It is a place I would take friends who never tried it before, but not really a place I would return to on my own.

Not much of a line to order but we have been waiting a long time for them to cook our 2 burgers. Also about half the tables are piled high with the remnants of other peoples meals, who have left, but there doesnt seem to be anyone cleaning them. Too bad since its such a nice night we would like to eat outside but none of those tables are clean.

My coworkers like this place. I feel like their prices are a little bit high. For what you pay, I would think you would be able to order a burger a little on the rare side, but they always come out well-done. It is cool that they have their topping/condiment bar, so you can build your burger the way you would like.

I thought this place was okay. This was my first time and I probably wont be back. I was annoyed by the bathroom being out of paper towels and not having an air dryer. My elk burger was ordered medium rare and cooked well--not a huge deal. Oreo shake was good. For the price you can get much better food.

Excellent hamburger. I drive from Yorba Linda via Santiago Canyon (on my bike) just to eat here. I get the Southwest Angus without a bun. Very tasty. This is how I like my burger... •1/2 lb •kobe or elk burger  •southwest •add grilled onions, fried egg, •no bun

Great tasting burgers, the interior recently redesigned to a sports bar-like with some old artifacts, such as old manual gas pump, etc.. Personally, i liked it better befoe the change, with one corner dedicated to the Rolling Stones and the other for the Beatles

Love this place, their burgers are usually pretty great and the condiment bar has more than you could load onto the burger. Im always looking for a good burger joint in Lake Forest but you cant go wrong with a place that brings back childhood memories.

I went with a large group right when they opened on a Saturday. We were cheerfully accommodated, the food was fully up to corporate standards, and came up quickly, considering the number of orders that hit them pretty much all at once.

Fuddruckers still has good burgers, with freshly baked buns. Their condiment bar allows you to customize your burger as you see fit. Theyve also expanded their menu over the years, so there are more choices for everybody.

I have had the burgers here and they are excellent, but a little pricy for my taste. The salads are good too, but I never seem to be filled up after eating here, and for the price you pay, I expect to be full when I leave.

Decent burgers and salads, okay sides. Confusing layout, so dont be afraid to ask questions. Seating is basically picnic tables, and noisy TVs abound. Im sure that some folks like that sort of thing, but I am not a fan.
