My review is only for the banquet room and the knowledge I experienced in dealing with the banquet room at this site as a hired entertainer for a private party. So I was told to call the lady who deals with the banquet room and apparently she does all the deliveries and is out most of her shift. I talked to a young gentleman and asked to give the lady my contact info so I could find out the specifics of the room for my karaoke system. She never called me and, later, told me she never got the message. (Not a good start for this companys professionalism and not a ding on the lady only this sites staff and their ability to relate messages). After I finally got in touch with her she said using a computer to link up with the monitors is best (Which I do) and that it had a separate entrance for setting up and entrance for its customers. This is a great feature for bands, karaoke, or presenters as you can literally pull up to the door and unload into the room. So the lady didnt mention the technical info on what I could connect to and neither did the guy I called to leave the message and they would simply have to put the info on an index card and tape it near the phones for general info for curious renters of the room. So, here it is for all you interested. Banquet Room Stats for Entertainers/Presenters: 1 HDMI cable connected at back right wall near their storage closet under an above mounted TV monitor. (6 feet long) 4 power ports (3 prong) attached to an Extention cord roller attacher to the wall at same location as above. A basic amplifier with 1 microphone that sounds very pitchy or peaked on the speakers they have (Not recommended based on what I heard. If you want to sound good bring your own system) Lots of TV monitors all around but you have to ask for them to be turned on if you want to use them. If you ask for a bartender, they set her up in the back left corner of the room and she is very professional and helpful to your customers (Ours was very friendly and professional). The waitress assigned was very charming and helpful as well and picked up dishes as soon as they were ready. Large parties should understand it takes a few minutes to navigate close quarters as there is always whiners when they dont get their way immediately so tell those people to chip in for a personal waitor/waitress. But, she was great. They have a 10% back program but dont let you use it on your nights expenses which I feel is stupid as they will get the money saved somewhere and would use a coupon for 10% off without thinking for a meal. So, that is their policy and the card is charged with your money you earned usable at any of their restaurant chains (Not just Claim Jumpers) Bring splitters if you plan on using your own monitors AND theirs as they do not have any on site. (Wouldnt hurt to have them on site and would make their experience more welcoming to entertainment and easy to keep tack of and billable if lost or removed by contract or signed agreement upon acceptance of use.) Hope this helps out any and all needing this information.

2 STARS FOR 2 BOWLS OF $10.00 SOUP - They lost the rest of the Stars with my $50.00 Gift Card they kept. :: PROS :: 1.) Decent food & portion size 2.) Generally fast pickup for To Go orders 3.) Jessica @ front desk is professional & courteous :: CONS :: 1.) Managers are polite, but have poor PoS skills 2.) ToGo system does not take down your number 3.) They kept my change & failed to hand it back to me ($50) 4.) Parking Lot is an utter disaster, getting out is a pain 5.) Apparently you better watch your change & gift cards, they will lose them & fail to care enough to set them aside in an envelope. I could of went back to pick it up, but they apparently throw them away blindly. OVERALL :: CJ is a great place, but they botched my order entirely when they kept the change. $70.00 for 2 bowls of soup is just too much. I expected the manager to be on his game, but typical of management, his staff is better trained then himself. The property owners have hijacked the 3rd exit for a drive-thru business, shows their greed and poor planning for this absolute mess of a lot. WORST parking lot in the area to get out of between 3:00pm - 6:00pm.

I used to go to the one on Knott Ave in Buena Park all of the time but had never been to this one on Talbert in Santa Ana. When I walked in and was seated I noticed it didnt seem as clean as the other one. The waitress came over and we ordered & she offered to bring some cheese bread which we were excited about. She brought it to the table along with the clam chowder I ordered. I broke off a piece of bread and instantly noticed it was stale so I put it back. I started to eat my soup and it tasted like someone poured pickle juice in the pot. It was salty and briny. I got up and asked for the manager and told her she had a quality control issue and explained what was wrong. She said "in regards to the soup since they serve so much of it they heat it fast and then turn it down and when it simmers too long it gets a weird taste." Well, ok if you are aware of this what steps are you taking to avoid that this isnt still happening? Obviously none because she is aware and so are the cooks and no one is doing anything to avoid serving it or having it happen if thats even possible.

I was shocked how the at how rude and passive aggressive their manager (Many Bernardo) was. I didnt even ask for him . He just happened to deliver our salads and was very rude and obstinate about changing them to what we ordered. Then he goes as far as to claim the salads we ordered did not exist. Ive been eating at Claim Jumpers for years. This is part of my standard order, its not even special And this guy is the one whos supposed to be setting the standard for service for this establishment ? Look at the 3 star reviews for this place...It reflects the level of service there manager is demonstrating. Brian, our server on the other hand, knew exactly we were asking for and brought it without incident. (Great server BTW) I really dont know why that was such a big deal but Many had a terrible attitude. So much so I took the time to write their corporate offices.

This was my first time at CJs and I must say the service here sucks. Me and my friend came to get a bite to eat, and from the moment our waiter Ryan took our order, he only came by our table once to check on us. My buddy had to get refills on his Icetea by himself, no napkins provided and they forgot to give us the cornbread that came with my meal. When Ryan finally came by, we told him about the bread and he brings it back in a to go bag when we didnt ask him to bring in a to go bag. The food was great, but because of the service I will never go back to another CJs again. Meanwhile Ryan was checking on every other customer there, and me and my buddy felt ignored and disrespected.
