They no longer have the crab cakes or the Oaxacan sea bass which I was looking forward to trying.. Boo.. =( Their salad bar looked really sad & wilted. =( I remember their salad bar being so much better & was also included with your meal before but now its extra. =( -2 Food: Clam Chowder: 3 stars (Recommended) Decent, plenty of clams & thick consistency but on the salty side. Ultimate fish & chips:3 stars Fried shrimp (too much batter) , grilled shrimp (decent), blackened tilapia (way too salty) & fish n chips (decent). Decor: Like any other Claim Jumper chain restaurant, nothing special; but at least it was clean. Service: very attentive : (A) Food quality & portion size at Claim Jumper has been steadily gone downhill. =( Tip: HH: MONDAY - FRIDAY * 3PM - 6:30PM & SATURDAY 11AM - 3PM AVAILABLE IN SALOON ONLY

Their All-You-Can-Eat Sunday brunch buffet is delicious and reasonably priced. I was surprised that it wasnt super busy at 1230 and that we were immediately seated. A family of ~9 arrived just before us and they were seated immediately as well. The buffet is a wide range of breakfast and lunch items from a choose your own toppings omelet and carved meat station to pizza to a make your own sliders with pulled pork or chicken tenders to a make your own nachos station, salad bar, pasta, enchiladas and all the staples youd expect at breakfast, such as waffles, pancakes, bacon, sausage, potatoes, etc. Bottomless mimosa option can be added for only $4.

Used to be great. Claim Jumper used to serve huge portions of good food at reasonable prices. Not anymore. Portions have gotten much smaller, prices have gone up, and quality has dropped considerably. Service has also taken a big dive. Last visit our waiter camped at another table and didnt check on us for ages. Meanwhile, my dining companion was staring at an undercooked steak for almost ten minutes before we could get the waiters attention. About the only plus was the desserts are still huge.

I went here for a work lunch today after a convention and got a cheeseburger and some mozzarella sticks. Food was great and Brian was a great server. Also, I forgot to take the receipt (rookie move), but I called when I got back to San Diego and the manager, Alyssa, emailed me the receipt in less than 5 minutes. If thats not great service, I dont know what is.

The place was busy with holiday parties and it was hard to get the food to the table in a usual time. No problem with the server, but I think the management underestimated the demand for food nearing the holidays. I enjoy going to CJ and would go back. Be sure to join their rewards club for free and get discounts and money off.

The food is pretty good. The prices are a little higher than Id expect for the portions. I like the rustic decor of the restaurant but the theme is a little better at other locations than this one. The service was pretty darn good. Our server, Kim, was great! Id recommend it and will come back.

Manager refused to let a severally handicapped, terminally ill child and his assistance dog into the restaurant and threw the whole family out of the restaurant despite the fact he SAW the license around the dogs neck and further stated, "this doesnt look like a service animal".

The staff n food are amazing. They may not remember everyones name (There are many people that visit here) but they still treat u like family. Ive visited other claim jumpers, none compare to this one. Kudos to the staff and thank you for recommending the cinnamon crunch drink.

Very Bad Experience, I took my family of four to eat here and we were treated very bad. I have visited many Claim Jumpers in the past, this I would have to say is one of the worst. Please Keep Looking for a better place to eat, it is not worth it!!!

The food was very tasty and the service was excellent. We were a big group for Thanksgiving but the quality was there. The tri tip and cheddar soup were possibly the best part of the meal. My brother in laws got this pumpkin cheesecake that was amazing.

This place is normally good...but last night the service was minimal. The food took forever to come out and then it was wrong. When I went to pay at the register I wasnt even asked how everything was. It will be a long time before I go there again.

My wife and I stop by often at the end of a day and head to the bar area for their happy hour menu. Good food and good portions and a good price. They have a great fresh warm garlic bread with cheese on top if you ask for it.

The salad bar is great. Portions have gotten slightly smaller over the years. This location has spotty service during lunch hours, sometimes great sometimes lacking. But the food is good and waits for lunch are short.

The food is delicious! This is my second time here in two days. Yes, I came yesterday! I had the BBQ chicken salad but with salmon. It was SO delicious. Friendly staff. Bartender Shawna is very cute and friendly.

Salad bar was not fresh! Cucumbers were so old they were slimy. Fruit was lacking. Only melons and it was old. We had bugs flying around us. I spent too much time swatting bugs. Maybe I was having a bad day.

If youve seen one youve seen them all. This one is super sized, but there still seems to always be a wait. The staff is friendly though, and the bar is pleasant to grab a drink with a friend
