THE WORST RESTAURANT EVER. I went in tipped the waitress first a standard $5 and asked her to please wait on my table and I will tip her again after service. She said that she would take care of me. In less then 3min after my family and I sat down received the menu, she brings me another server and tells me shes leaving and that this server will take good care of us. Needless to say he did not take care of us. The only thing we received on a timely manner was our beverages. My family and I waited for over an hour for our meal. When we did receive our meals, my mothers food was under cooked and my sister food was burnt. So we sent back the food for correction. During our wait time the server was trying to service the table across from us and he almost hit my mother in the head with the tray of hot plates. If she would not have ducked she would have been struck!!! he then dropped the food all over the floor and spilling some on my mother. remind you I had already tipped the waitress who assured me that the waiter would take good care of me and my family. At this time Im practically pissed off and ask to speak to the manager. He took his sweet precious time to come over to the table. He apologizes and offers us dessert on the house. I felt that this did not come close to making up for the poor service we received and my mother having food spilled on her. I refused his offer, and to this day I am perplexed by what would make him think we would want dessert when the food we did receive was horrible. We had enough!!!! we paid for what we did have and left.

Horrible! We love Norms but 6/16 we were sat at Caira table. She doesnt want her job. Took long time to come over and take order, we had so much time we knew what we wanted. Someone else brought out food, but was wrong. Then when we got shrimp no cocktail sauce and then had to also ask for steak sauce and ketchup, never got syrup. My husband got up for syrup for my daughter. She finally walked by to other table (the only 2 she had, was 930p and we were the only ones in her area) She said let me get refills, 30 minutes later my husband got up and went to bar to ask for refills and then the helper intercepted him and brought refills while she talked to coworkers. Then she noticed came over and asked if we wanted to go cups. I kept my calm and informed her we were not finished and I was upset. She asked why...i listed all we had thought was wrong. She said thank you and left. We wanted dessert and had a free shake for husbands bday, never came back. When we walked over to pay I ordered shake and asked for manager. Took awhile and then they sent over fake me Maritza. When we were waiting for table we saw the manager, so.eone diffetent, Maritza looked like took off apron and walked o Dr. Then tried to say shake was done in only, we told her we had wanted to have it but Caira never asked about dessert and just left check. We all wanted something as it is a rare night we can all go to dinner together with husband, who works evenings. I had to post this. Horrible. I will follow up with general manager.

Horrible!!! Worst service ever!! Not only was our spilt pea soup cold. Our waitress had a major attitude!! So rude!!! Worst experience at Norms!!!! So many issues! My filet mignon was not a filet mignon but indeed a butterflied sirlon. As thin as a hamburger patty. I mentioned this to our waitress and she argued with us and then said said I was going to send over her manager. Whom, was in fact just another waitress on a power trip. She then continued to argue with us about it being a filet mignon and finally I asked her another (thicker) cut. Since she swore the filet mignon come in all different sizes. So if all that isnt enough, heres the kicker. When I ordered I told our waitress that I am allergic to onions and to have no onions on anything. Made it clear NO ONIONS! Whats on my plate when it comes?? Yep. Onions. In the veggies. Never will I come back and I strongly recommend you DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE TO EAT!!! Spare yourselves the head ache.

We are regular in this Norms. Although service has never been bad, I will say that the best waitress has been Tammy. She works during the day and generally works the northeast side seating area. I may regret this--since she may get overwhelmed with requests for service, she has been the most enthusiastic helpful server Ive encountered in quite a while. She greets you with a smiling face and is a genuinely nice peraon. My wife and i were surprised by her cheerful demeanor. Most servers (not just at Norms, but elseqhere) could take a few hints from her. As a result, we left her a nice tip and even commended her to management. Really, her service was that good. I doubt Id ever complain about the food at Norms. Been going to various Norms for a long time and have yet to order something I really didnt appreciate. I keep forgetting to grab more photos but I will the next time were there.

The Food is Good.... The Wait is Terrible..... Its my guess that they are doing very well because you can never be seated immediately and the servers do have problems remembering condements or other minor request details. They offer great deals on steak throughout the day. However, after taking such pride in featuring steaks, Norms has the Nastiest, most mixed with dishwater steak sauce you ever wanna taste. The Norms steaksauce taste as if it was freezer burnt, when I asked for any alternative, I was disappointed to find out they only carry that house brand Sauce. So much for my 16oz. Mushroom topped porterhouse. I took it home to eat it. I do recommend this place for Breakfast hands down over Dennys or IHOP. Just remember Get there early, or between rush hours. And if you plan on eating a steak, sneak in your bottle of A-1 sauce.!!!!!

I have been here three times: the first we left because we wouldnt be seated for an hour, the second had bad service, but the third was completely unacceptable. I ordered a single slice of cheesecake. I was with a group of eight other people, but the food took an hour and 15 minutes to arrive. When it did, my cheesecake was completely frozen through. When i commented about it, the waitress made excuses and then offered to take it off the bill--and off the table. She was really rude, but she brought over her boss, who was also pretty sassy. While I was waiting, the waitress told the other waitresses (right in front of me!) How silly I was. After some negotiating, the boss unhappily took the cheesecake off my bill after questioning my intelligence. Three strikes youre out, Norms. I will never return

Norms has some of the best food around period.:-) everything is always just as you would want. The most reasonable place to eat great food, out of all restaurants I have been to, Norms is definitely at the top. They always try to please you. If you ask for a little extra cheese they give you plenty, oh an a must have is Garlic Parmesan French Fries, :-) a massive plate of French fries with fresh ground garlic and generous amount of parmesan. Enough fries for 3 people, :-) YOU wont want to stop eating them. And sirloin steak is always one of the tastiest steaks around. And the soups and salads always great taste. :-) I go to one in Montclair in So.California nice and new a little noisy but well worth the wait and noise. :-) everything there is good to many selections.. Good Eats Friends :-)
