Appetizers were good - carpaccio and mixta plate. Most main dishes (5 of 6 at our table) were small and "okay", not great. Fish special (Halibut?) was big and looked nice. Pesto gnocchi was plentiful due to density but who can eat very much of that? Seafood lasagna was so small my colleague was cleaning up the leftover appetizers because he was still hungry. I had Rigatoni with sausage and it was sliced sausage which was not what I expected. I wanted traditional Italian sausage in bulk. Sliced sausage is not as good and "convenient" for them but low quality in my opinion (felt cheap). I was disappointed and glad I filled up on appetizers. Took most of it home. We ordered the Testarossa Pinot Noir, which was great, but when we ordered a second bottle, they were out...We settled for La Crema, which was fine... Overall, a pretty average, non-standout performance for a very non-busy Monday night and a party of 6 who spent upwards of $500 for a non memorable celebration dinner. I dont think any of us would hurry back - especially not for business dinners with large parties. Skip it.

A lovely place for dinner after choir practice. It wasnt crowded on a Wednesday night and we were immediately seated in the back with our large group. The pasta with bolognese was the most popular at the table and tasted delicious. I had the special lamb chops which were perfectly tender and juicy. The chops came on a pool of sweet something that kind of complimented the dish but was a little gelatinous. The kale salad was nice and made with baby kale. I like the Birra Moretti on tap. If you order right it is not too pricey but order wrong and you end up paying for 2 entrees when you thought you ordered just a side of salmon.

The food is really quite good here. The atmosphere inside is fun and the place is decorated in a funky Italian sort of way. The people are nice, the waiters are great. They have a larger area inside than you would imagine from the street, because they have an area of back that has expanded and kind of a tent-like experience. No matter where they sit you here it is fun and stuff to look at that is kind of funny and amusing. The food is terrific.

Our company is one block from Bella Vita - and we consider ourselves extremely lucky for this! We have enjoyed many excellent lunches and celebratory dinners. The food and drink are wonderful, and the service is excellent. Whether you like pasta, fish, pizza, sandwiches, soup or salads - youll be delighted. The service is terrific too.

Lovely place with great service. However food was subpar for the area. Sauce flavor on chicken was overpowered with mustard and too salty. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant mashed potatoes - watery and lacked flavor. Sticky pudding for dessert was far too over priced for the serving size. Too sweet and pudding part was too cakey.

OK Italian food, but not exciting. My capellini pomodoro was good but not spectacular. The ambiance is also dull, the place is too dark and on the day we went, it was 90℅ empty. The waiter did not know about the OpenTable :no corkage fee special after 8:30pm but he honored it anyway, which was good.

We savored three dishes plus a cabrese salad at Bella Vita. The salad was so-so, the ribs and Portobella mushroom ravioli were excellent, the lasagna oversalted. Bread rolls and house Cabernet (2014) both very enjoyable. Service very good, atmosphere conducive to warm conversation.

The food is delicious, well prepared and presented, but a little pricey. Best bolognese in the area. Nice salads and the polenta/mushroom appetizer melts in your mouth. Would not recommend the pizza.

Great menu and nice decor. Cozy romantic place. Full wine cellar with a separate little room. Good for family gathering. Staff is very friendly and good food at a reasonable price. Easy to park too.
