Im now in college and whenever I come home it is the first place I eat at. The bread with cheesy spread could be the best part about it. Whenever people are around we go grab a round of bread and cheesy spread and eat all of it, then go back and get more. I have never had a bad time there. Sure the prices are what is expected in downtown Saratoga, but worth every penny. Go here, great for a casual quiet dinner date that isnt too pricy, dishes range from $12-20. Had plenty of great family dinners here and you can order for take out, they literally take 15 minutes every time! Now thats some fast delicious food! GO HERE YOU WONT REGRET IT, best place ever. ps tortellini carbonara is bomb

Had the displeasure of coming here twice to confidently arrive at a two star rating. I agree with the other reviewer that the bread is amazing when it comes fresh out of the oven. Other than that, the salads, soups and entrees are inferior. There are so many superior Italian restaurants in the area I would recommend before going to this place. Perhaps their bread is delicious, but a good restaurant shall not live by bread alone.

Florentine serves consistently good Italian food, can handle groups of up to a dozen in the main dining room, and boasts a banquet room for larger groups. The only negative is the lack of a dedicated maître d. At dinner time, would-be patrons are often stacked five or six deep at the empty reception desk, ignored by the wait staff, while looking around in vain for someone to appear who will show them to a table.

If youre looking for authentic Italian or even stereotypical Americanized Italian, keep looking. The food was OK but not great, the cheese spread that comes with the bread is basically cheese whiz (how about herbs and olive oil and/or Balsamic?), the tomato sauce is a bit on the sweet side and it would seem the default sauce on the pasta is cream based rather than tomato based.

Excellent food. Poor service though. Took 15 minutes after being sat down just for a runner to bring us water. Another 10 minutes after that we met our waitress. I wish I could say the food totally made up for the poor service, but it didnt. Good news is they have a great take out menu. Calzones are amazing.

Their bread with cheese spread is to die for. The rest on the menu is good but nothing to write home about but I do like eating there for the patio dining ambiance for a nice lunch. Their brown bag lunch is also really great and affordable takeout.

Its too die for, anyone who gives it a 1 or 2 is just a spoiled rich bastard with no taste. The bread is amazing, the pasta is amazing, and especially the calzone!!! Would recommend it to everyone its just too good

Both of us got sick. But my salmon was delicious, and we love its location slightly off Saratoga Blvd. Bread was really delicious. And I lost weight! WIfe however is not happy at all.

Love this place, one of the few Italian restaurants nearby where you can get veal. Food is well prepared and the service is prompt and friendly. Nice selection of entrees.
