The waitress was not very good and our food was messed up. FOOD: Normally its quick and delicious. Today they brought my daughter a waffle with strawberries and forgot the whip cream even though I specifically asked for it. The strawberries looked aged or rotten. I ordered a waffle and didnt get it until most of my other food was gone. Then I wasnt even given syrup for it until I asked. I asked for grits in a bowl and they were on the plate. Then they brought an extra bowl of grits. My wifes wheat bread had mold on it. She didnt bring drinks until well after our meal had started and even then, they were the wrong drinks. My wife asked for coffee and wasnt offered any cream and that was after she forgot to bring the coffee. Finally, we had to ask for my wifes bacon 3 times before they finally brought it out. SERVICE: Ive typically had a great server but Im assuming it was this ladies first time and she is not familiar with waitressing. She wasnt attentive. Forgot everything. You could tell that our experience was a result of our server and not this Waffle House in general. Ive been before and it was great. They did seem more busy than usual but thats no excuse for the experience.

Tonight we came in and Im not sure how I feel about the "friendly" staff seeing as these two women seemed very choosey as to who they wanted to wait on. We came in and sat down in the corner booth in between two windows, seemed like a lovely spot, a waitress came and set our table. She didnt say much and said she would be right back after she took this order. We were so friendly because we love good customer service but she wasnt very receptive. Lets say we waited ten minutes very patiently and watched new customers get in and served before us... five minutes go by and no service. We looked over the corner and our waitress was still reading the order so we looked for the other waitress who was folding napkins and staring at us. After 20 mins we left and as we were walking out the waitress that was staring at us served the customers that sat right behind us (they just came in) I just shook my head. I will not be returning. Needless to say we went to the Waffle House on University Dr and Brittany is so awesome! We tipped her well :)

The manager Michell and Andrew is racist toward the the staff inside that restraunt. I tried to apply at this restaurant and I did test and sent 10 people in there to apply and there 5 white girls as servers who have good experience and 5 Mexican cooks and she did not hire not even one of them. But then next day I found out they hired a black cook and a black server and at the same time they only last a week. The restraunt is truly racist and they wont hire Mexicans and only a few white people . If u dont believe me go check the restraunt out and see how many white people or Mexican people are there working and see how many black people are actually working in there. I have a culinary arts degree and I have 4 years experience then most of there cooks at that store . Sincerely, Jesus Garcia

This location WAS great. When my girlfriend and I went in recently there was only one lady there, named Andrea, and she was at the register. She did not welcome us in, and gave us a nasty look. After being seated for several minutes and the lady still being at the register, another lady came in. It was an older white lady who was literally acting as if she had just done drugs. She came in with a twitch that Ive never seen her do before and started slapping a table several times. After seeing that I will never be returning. How can I trust someone like that making my food. I also stole a handful of jelly before I left.

Ive been going to this one on and off for over 20 years. The staff is usually very friendly and quick about getting refills and getting your food cooking. There is a strip club next door, as another posted stated, but it doesnt affect me at all, I just ignore that place. It isnt a shady area of town, though, its right off the freeway and AZ Mills Mall is directly across the street. There ARE some homeless that hang out at the freeway entrance which is what, 50 yards away from the restaurant? You dont HAVE to give them money, lol. Its a good place to eat and the all you can eat deal is wonderful.

Rude Rude Rude Bad manners from manager and weird random people hanging out. Me and my girl went there after a long day shopping at the mills. She orderd a hamburger with cheese hamburger was raw inside so we told the waiter he told the cook which was the manager. My girl saw that he had rolled his eyes and said out loud "you should be specific on how you want your hamburger cooked". Well first of all the waiter never asked me if I wanted it raw. Very unprofessional coming from the manager who is supposed to be representing waffle house. I will never return to this location.

Me and my wife went there a couple months ago and had no problems like the other person described.Quick,friendly service like most waffle houses are. If you have been to one before you know what to expect. But if you eat or shop at any place in the middle of the night of course you are going to run into weird characters, it is the same anywhere in the United States. The google location is incorrect, it is actually across the street from Arizona mills. When you exit I-10 going west, it is on your right, not left.

The waiter we felt sorry for. The "manager" was yelling the whole time we were there. We have ate at this location before but today was bad. As our waiter was bringing our food the manager pulled him from bringing our food so he could set up three other tables as our food grew cold. She did this because "we need to get these people in and out and set to tables so I make money today." The waffle was burnt and so was the bacon. Dont know what happen to this location but it was not enjoyable visit.

First time I have been to a Waffle house and will not go back. The staff was taking cash from customers and putting it in there pockets, that was the best thing I had during the vistit. We sat for 20 min before some showed up to take our order and we didnt even get the coffee that we asked for. Dont waiste your time or money here. It took an hr to get two items off the menu. The staff did not want to help us we were in his way from getting pocket change from his friends.

I havent been to a Waffle House in many moons because they are not around my neck of the woods too much. It was darn good. The waffles were thin and tasty. It was not sparkling clean in there but it was kept up. I was in and out the two times I went during the weekday around 0730. The bacon is cut a little too thin but it is very good. Coffee isnt the best. If you want a nice breakfast without the BS of the other places, it wont disappoint.
