The history of this Firehouse Subs and others somehow relates to and is influenced by the Katrina Hurricane event which was an extremely destructive storm hitting the Gulf Coast of the U.S. in August 2005. Thats when a Public Safety Foundation was started by a few firemen which is still supported by people as well as the firemen themselves. There are 1000 of restaurants such as this one all around the world which provide discounts for firemen and receive donations as available. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating arrangements and all the conveniences required for adults and children. The food was delicious and service was attentive.

Had to repeat my order three times for them to get it right. Come on. The food was great as usual and the other staff were nice. But the cashier was something else. She rang up the wrong size, then voided out the entire order and I had to tell her the same thing over and over. She asked what size and I said medium and she said okay what size? Whats worse, she acted like she couldnt even care less. Wake up, put down the pipe and do your job. Is that so much to ask?
