I got take out from this joint for the first time tonight. Walking into the place I was happy because it looked like a clean place. After I got my food I boogied home and began the unpacking process. The first problem was I didnt have my egg roll. Something I can live without and this is an easily forgivable mistake. I decided to dig into the Moo Shu Pork, which on the menu described a shredded pork cooked with eggs and vegetables, served with "Handmade Crepes" I was so looking forward to the crepes...-Ive been craving them for some time. Unfortunately what I found in place of crepes were warm flour tortillas...- and they were not homemade! My second problem with the Moo Shu Pork is that the menu describes "Shredded Pork" not thin slices of julienned pork, which is what I was served. Ok the dish tasted ok but definitely not what I expected. I went to sample the pot stickers. Ok, these were very good and up to par with pot stickers that Ive had at other joints around town. Next up a sample of the Broccoli Beef. Between this and the pot stickers I was able to add a second star to the review. The broccoli was fresh and crisp as were the carrots and the beef slices were tender and the sauce was tasty. I moved on and took a sample of the Pork Lo Mein, which was also tasty and satisfactory. Overall I give the place three starts because it is a clean place, the staff seemed nice and friendly. Not getting the egg roll has nothing to do with my rating. Had the crepes been hand made as advertised and the pork in the Moo Shu recipe actually shredded pork then this would have been a 4-5 star review.

Some time last year, a few coworkers recommended Qwik Chinese to me, but I never actually got around to eating there until this past week. Im actually kind of disappointed I didnt go sooner, because I could have had extra year of eating here that I missed out on. Ive been searching for a good Kung Pao chicken near my office for about 4 years now with little success. The places Ive tried either had terrible meat or the sauce was weak and thin, where I prefer a thicker, brown sauce. Qwik Chineses Kung Pao is about as perfect as I could hope for. The sauce is thick and delicious, the chicken is of a great quality and the portion is huge. The only thing I wish it had was more spice, but thats easily remedied by asking for a side of pepper paste. So far Ive also had the General Taos Chicken and orange chicken, and both were equally amazing. Ive been nothing but impressed with the food so far. Also, the staff is incredibly friendly. It appears to be run by a family, and both times Ive been in, I was waited on by an incredibly friendly gentleman. The second time I came back, he already had my order from last time memorized, which genuinely impressed me. I genuinely cant wait to go back next week.

My wife and I ate here a few times while we were on vacation because it was close to our hotel. The first evening we ordered Fried Rice, Pork Fried Rice & Vegetable Lo Mein. The young man repeated back our order and had it correct, but when we received our food he had forgotten part of my order. I wasnt charged for it so I didnt make a big deal about it, we just ate the other food which was very tasty. 2 days later we returned here for lunch. We order General Tsaos Chicken & Fried Rice. Again when the same young man repeated back the order he had it correct but when we received our food he had part of it wrong. We received the Fried Rice and come strange bland tasting soup that I didnt ask for. He got it corrected, i just had to wait a little longer while they prepared my meal. When I received it I was surprised because it tasted nothing like General Tsaos Chicken at all. Ive eaten at many different Chinese restaurants so I know that taste can vary from place to place but this was way off. I tried to douse it hot sauce but it didnt help. I barely at any of it. The Fried Rice however was very good just as before and I wasnt charged to the mistaken soup. Some of the food was bad and some of it good.

I will never order from these people again. I spent $30 on some food that was horrible. I called and asked for a refund, they came and picked up my food and never refunded me. I called a few days later and the so called manager told me because I had ate some of the food he was only going o refund me $13.50. I was so livid. I mean, I literally tasted everything I bought and it was disgusting. But the tight wallet Asian folks will not refund me. How can you say I ate half the food when I took a FREAKIN BITE!!. NEVER EAT HERE!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FOOD!

I used to live in Scottsdale, so one of my favorite Chinese places was the Qwik Chinese. Sadly, I do not live there anymore, but when I go vacation there, I will probably dine there everyday. The people are friendly, and know your order. The food is really delicious. I find myself thinking about it quite a bit. I recommend the lo mein (any kind), the General Tsaos chicken, the egg drop soup, as well as the hot and sour soup. Crab rangoons, egg rolls, mongolian beef, orange chicken. Need I go on?! This place is reasonable in their prices. Just awesome. <3

This place has been near my house for years. I keep giving them a chance because the owners are so nice. But every time I go the food is so bad. I want them to be good because they are so nearby and friendly. They simply need to clean their kitchen, order better quality ingredients, and find a new chef. They have a great location and family service, just bad food. :( For now, I still go up the road to China Lite when I want good Chinese. Twice the walk but the food is good.

This place is awesome! I havent eaten in, but after I found this place a few weeks ago, Ive ordered out several times. The steamed dumplings are great, as is the lo mein, moo shu, and sesame chicken noodles. The price is right and the food is good quality and delicious. Gary, the man behind the counter, is friendly and helpful. The dumplings, especially, are absolutely fantastic!!!

My girlfriends 30th b-day. She wanted Chinese catering for her b-day. Called Qwik Chinese, a stupid woman barely spoke English answered the phone, couldnt understand anything. Asked her to get someone who could help, she hang me up! Of course, we didnt order anything from them.

Nice, small, quiet place with great food. The staff is very nice and friendly. Tried a new dish tonight, the Mongolian Beef. It was excellent! A new favorite for me. I would would definitely recommend Qwik Chinese to anyone in the McCormick Park area.
