I went here with group after the movie. We had made reservations so they knew how many people would be there. We were seated the table next to me was dirty and never cleaned in the hour and half we were there. They had three server tending to us we were seated at different tables. Took over 20 minutes for our drink order. we ordered our food. Mostly the appetizers due to it being HH, one person order the pizza with no pepperoni, I order the spinach artichoke dip and the other girl order the California roll. It took about another half hour for the food, the pizza came out with pepperoni all over it, ( the manager did comp her meal, he asked if she wanted it re-made but she stated that she didnt have another hour to wait and ate it anyway)the rest was okay. Very small portion, the artichoke dip had really no flavor it was okay but not great. NO SILVERWARE, we sat for another 20 minutes without napkins or silverware. Another person showed up and sat at the dirty table, The serve NEVER CLEAN THE TABLE OFF even though someone was sitting there!! Hire bussers!!!!! Around 7 PM we asked for the check at 7:25 no check so I left money on the table and left and as I was walking out the door she asked if I wanted my check I stated "why bother, I just left money on the table .No one should have to wait an half an hour for the check!! T.I.P.S. To insure proper service!! This had happened the few times I have been in there. Horrible & unacceptable service the manager claimed he didnt know such a big group was showing up, really? We made a reservation, poor planning on his part. The music was horrible and extremely loud, not a pleasant experience. I ill never be back. They charge too much money for bad service and subpar food. I waiting tables for several years myself and this one just plain sucked. Take pride in your job or find one that is a better fit. Looks will only get you so far. Go to Bar Louies that have better food and the service is much better!!! Save your money and time. Going out to eat should not be so stressful. This is the last time I will go there. There are much better places to go around town.

My co-workers and I went to the Thirsty Lion in Tempe Marketplace after work yesterday. We arrived at 1:45 and at 3:30 we had had one shot together and two beers. Some people hadnt yet had anything to drink yet as theyd just arrived, and we all had eaten as well. When the manager, Aaron, delivered our food, we asked him for a shot for the table. He refused to get us anymore drinks stating, "Youre a bit too happy." I told him what we had drank/ate and how long we had been there and he proceeded to rudely lecture our group that they "are not in the business of getting people drunk." We were not drunk, not even close. We were eating and having some drinks. It is not necessarily him not serving us that is so upsetting, but he was extremely rude and after telling us no, continued on a rant about ordering drinks for other people, why he thought wed had more than we were actually saying, we should not be that happy... I mean he went on and on. We decided to close out and go elsewhere and told him okay. He left and then returned to lecture us some more! We told him, please close us out (for the second time) we are done here. I would like to reiterate that at 3:30 in the afternoon, we had 3 total drinks and food over a span of 1 hour and 45 minutes. Nobody was drunk, belligerent, or falling off their stool. This manager was on a serious power trip and lost the business of 15 customers. We went down the street to Bar Louie to enjoy the rest of our evening. They served us, and furthermore allow being happy, laughing, and enjoying yourself. I would suggest there, or anywhere else as we have never been treated so rudely by someone working in customer service.

I came in to pick up a to go order and when I walked into the restaurant the music and TV volume was extremely LOUD. Also, there were two hostess and a manager standing at the front desk area with their backs turned to the me. I walked up to them all and picked a hostess to talk to whom I told I was there to pick up a to go order. She looked at me confused and yelled back "WHAT?!" I repeated myself louder and she again yelled "WHAT?!". Once she heard me she turned her back to me, spoke something to the manager and other hostess and walked away without a word. The manager told me to have a seat and I kindly explained to him the level of mistreatment and disappointment I was feeling. He stood and argued with me for a few minutes and eventually after realizing I was not comfortable paying full price for the service and soggy food waiting for me to take home in the to go boxes as well as learning about my severe eating disorder, Rene the manager, remade my food and discounted my meal after hearing I would not be coming back. Needless to say I am very dissapointed with the service and environment and would save my time eating here next time I want to pick up food. What a stressful experience!!!!!!!!

Arrived at 6:30 , said we had reservations under our friends name.. for 4. The gal said nope no reservations, as a matter of fact we have no reservations for 4 at 6:30 at all. So she sat us and we waited for our 2 friends. 30 min later, our friend walks up to us and said we have been here on the other side of the restaurant since 6:25. They were seated under their reservations for 4.. by the same gal 5 minutes before she told us no reservations! Told the manager Ryan, he apologized, thought he could have at least offered to pick up the drink we had seperately due to his employees mistake. Nope.. nothing. So at about 8:15, barely an hour after we finally were sat together, our waitress came up to us and said "I want to go home so lets close your ticket." SO we barely had an hour to enjoy our friends and $113.00 meal and she had to have us close out? We will not be returning..

I came here with my dad for his triathlon award ceremony. Never been here before so I didnt know what to expect... First, they told us the ceremony would be outside (it wasnt) and were seated under the sun away from all the other triathletes. My dad decided to look around and found a table in the shade and asked if we could be moved. The waitress happily obliged. We Decided to get french fries with our meals, which isnt the norm for us, but we thought, what the hey! Lets treat ourselves! We were somewhat confused when we got brown french fries. We asked for some fresh ones, but they looked and tasted exactly the same. A manager came to talk to us to explain that theyre fried twice (gross). He generously compd one of our meals. Overall, it was alright. Nothing too exciting that would bring me in again though.

I expected this place to be a sort of rote sandwich and entree joint, but its a lot more than that. They rotate their beer taps, service local wines and keep their menu fresh, without losing some of the time-tested favorites. The staff is young but always friendly. And so far Ive not tried anything I didnt like. The patio is greatness for nice days, including a fire pit. Though they do, in typical Portland fashion, close it at even the hint of in climate weather. My only issue with them is that its pretty loud and crowded. Make a reservation for dinner, and dont expect on an intimate "date night" setting. But for an energetic, quality stop with friendly folks, its a solid choice.
