We dined at the Daily Dose on 20th St. & Highland on 3 occasions. The first time we were very impressed. The second time not so much...the food was inconsistent of the first visit. The third was very disappointing and what made it worse was the owner was talking to the the couple at the table next to us almost the entire time we were there and she never noticed that we did not even eat our food because it was so bad. The eggs benedict could have been boiled eggs benedict the eggs were so overcooked. The potatoes and squash sides were so overseasoned. It took us so long to get our food, we think it might have been the search party having a tough time finding the meat on the Reuben. Our plates were cleared which were mostly full and not surprisingly we were never asked if we wanted to take the rest home. This is sad for us because we live very close and wanted a neighborhood place to hang out. On a brighter note, the beers are great and the cocktails are good so we may go back for those things!

I had the turkey sausage omelette with creme fraiche, fried red potatoes and butternut squash hash. Some nice subtle flavor complements going on here for the price. I had a friendly, helpful server at the bar counter during my breakfast visit so I cant confirm previous reviews about spotty service. Service by Kylee at 8AM was good. Finally, the Daily Dose has a really cool, updated-looking design on the inside. Comfortable and refreshing with good lighting, a conversational music level, nice art, clean bathroom fixtures an intriguing, comfortable interior. To me, it looks like the Daily Dose has put a lot of thought, care and effort into things. And it works. Theres a lot to appreciate here and thats why Im giving it a five star rating. As with any business or service, your mileage may vary. Cheers!

THE best breakfast in town. and lunch and dinner. Their menu has classics and original/unique dishes. They have daily specials for food and drinks. For example, on Monday nights they have tacos and margaritas on special (I dont remember exactly how much $, but cheap enough that I went 3 weeks in a row :) ) Everything is delicious. Its the type of place I go to with friends, on dates, with my mother, anytime. ALSO, its a great place for breakfast when you are hungover. Awesome huge breakfasts, mimosas, bloody marys, no judgement. Love it!! A warning though, on Saturday and Sunday mornings there can be a pretty long wait. But its totally worth it.

I randomly looked up different places for my wife and I to go eat breakfast at. We were tired of eating at the same old places like IHOP and Dennys. Theres nothing wrong with those places but we go to them all the time so we wanted to try something different. We sat at the bar, watched football and ordered our food. The atmosphere was great. The bartender was very friendly and responsive to our request. The food was absolutely delicious and the prices were reasonable. We will definitely will be returning customers.

Food was pretty good. Temp of the restaurant was uncomfortably cold for the majority of our time there. Waitress was not at all attentive. Disappeared for almost the entire time, then seemed shocked when we asked to switch one of the sides, which was really gross. Still left a good tip, but the service was quite mediocre. However, it may have just been her or maybe she was having a bad day. Other staff seemed more attentive. My plate was pretty tasty. Food was good enough overall that well give them another shot.

Upon first walking in you may believe you are in a big city back alley establishment, in a good way. The service is top notch and friendly. The happy hour value is amazing and the regular menu prices are a great value. The Chai Tea "Second Opinion" cocktail will give your taste-buds a reason to be glad their alive. The Mac & Cheese with Chorizo is a good option as are the fresh made tacos. Is it five star food, No. Is it very good food, Yes.

If youre into waiting forever for service and watered down "homemade" ice teas then this is the place for you! The onion rings were gross, with cold corn meal batter, how do you even mess up onion rings? Theyre onion rings! Also who puts tomatoes on a reuben? This place is overrated and not worth your time. Hell, go across the street to get a sandwich because at least you know your food is fresh and the service will be good.

The dine-in experience is great! It does get super busy on the weekends so go early and maybe eat a snack before you do b/c the wait can be brutal. I prefer the steak and eggs. They could improve on their to-go quality though. Often times details were overlooked when we ordered take-out or used Postmates. Overall, we love their food and have been pleased with Daily Dose for years! Probably the best brunch in Old Town.

This is great spot for breakfast. I stopped here to eat before heading to the airport. I had the smoked salmon benedict with the DD hash. Food was tasty and the staff was nice. Enough TVs around that you can get the latest on sports and news while having a good breakfast and its in a good location on N Scottsdale Rd. If you want to have a good breakfast in Scottsdale, this is the place to go.

Best breakfast Ive had in Arizona. Went in for breakfast. Sat at the bar. Jessica (my waitress) and the rest of the staff were extremely attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. Coffee was great (Im a bit of a coffee snob and dislike the coffee at many other breakfast spots in the area). I like the atmosphere as well, it is hip and not sleazy. Definitely will be a returning customer.

REALLY good food and amazing service; what more do I need to say?! I have only eaten lunch here, but every item on the menu is superb. The Gladiator burger is just silly big, but always cooked to perfection. Great soups and constant refills just top things off for me. Parking is always "interesting" in Scottsdale, but if you dont mind walking a couple blocks it really isnt a problem

The menu description is much better than the execution of the actual food. They are 1/2 way there. Decor is fine, service is fine... but the food has been disappointing. They have great beers, TVs at the bar and a patio outside. I think unless the actual chef is in the kitchen.... your stuck w/ an ex-Arbys fry cook preparing your meals.... good luck!

Went in for a late lunch. Had the hummus duo and creamy tomato soup. The food was delicious, the staff was very friendly even though I could tell they were trying to get things closed up for the day. Ill definitely be back again to try some of the other menu items. The hummus duo was unique and creative, its not the usual chickpea/garbanzo hummus.

I love this place. Good food and service without the hipster pretence or inflated price tag. Ive been here at least once a month since I found it last year. The portobello bene is my favorite but I can rarely resist splitting the breakfast nachos with the hubby. No matter how busy they get, the quality of food and service remains top notch.
