My friend and I came in on a Friday at 7am and were practically the only people in the restaurant. We sat at the empty bar. Things were fine until after we ordered. The girl who was behind the bar (and bragging about being in charge while the manager was out) almost completely ignored us from this point on because a police officer came in and also sat at the bar. She proceeded to talk to him the entire time, I never had the opportunity to even ask for a water before my food came out because she would not make eye contact with us. When the food finally did come out, I asked the girl who brought the food out for a side of syrup. She proceeded to walk 6 feet and also engage in a conversation with the police officer. She then walked around the bar, behind us, and chatted with another server girl who was eating opening at the bar. I had to wait for the server, who finally came back and asked if I needed anything else. When I told her I did, she seemed like I was inconveniencing her since she was bringing out veggies to slice. We were finally given our checks. She then goes back and gives a check to the officer. She then checks him out completely and makes another customers drink before finally coming back to us and close us out. Mind you were are literally just sitting there, waiting. There are barely any other customers still in the restaurant (hmm I wonder why...). Overall, the food tasted great! However, this was some of the worst service I have had in a long time. It was in no way worth the $15 I paid. I think the manager made a mistake leaving our server in charge.

Five stars for our server Kaitlyn, she was excellent. It was busy, as to be expected on a Saturday or Caturday as all the girls wear t-shirts with cats on them, but she was still super attentive. My husband and I shared Juans Tacos and a flight of pancakes consisting of Pineapple Upside Down, Blueberry & Strawberry Shortcake. The toppings on the pancakes were all amazing, Blueberry was my favorite. The pancakes themselves were ok, I would never order them plain, they are small and something you could make at home. The tacos came on corn tortillas, we added bacon (which was done to perfection), with eggs, pico and a tasty green chile hollandaise. We added sriracha to make them even better. My only complaint about the tacos were the giant chunks of onion in the pico, they were so large it was like I asked for extra onion. The place is super loud so dont expect to have intimate conversation, and its decor is cheesy ultra-hipster.

My absolute FAVORITE breakfast restaurant ever! The food is excellent, it feels like you are eating a meal cooked by Bobby Flay, everything is so flavorful and unique! We have dined at Snooze on College a handful of times, but most recently this past Sunday we dined with 4 adults, 4 young children and a baby. Our waiter was beyond sweet and even brought us a complimentary pancake flight appetizer! My favorite thing at Snooze is the upside down pineapple pancake - it is unreal and Ive yet to figure out how to replicate it at home. The breakfast tacos (add bacon) are also ridiculously good (the green chili hollandaise sauce is amazing). On Sunday I ordered the newer menu item, the sweet potato hash, it was also fabulous! The portion sizes are quite large and makes it easy to share or go half and half with someone. I am not a huge fan of going out to breakfast... unless we are going to Snooze!

Nice hipster breakfast spot in the heart of Tempe. We went Saturday afternoon around 1pm. Our hostess was very pleasant and seated us right away. Kaitlyn was our server and she was on point the entire time 5 Start for her as she rocked. Damn Im still buzzed from the cold pressed coffee. The wife got Juans tacos with bacon and they were awesome. The bacon was crispy and meaty. They carry Sriracha and thats the extra kicker I needed. I had the pancake flight, pineapple, strawberry, and blueberry. They were all good but the blueberry was by far the best. The portion size was small for $9. I would have paid whatever for bigger portions. If not for the taco my wife shared with me, I would have left hungry. The reviews are spot on about how loud it is. Its hard to carry on a conversation and not be overwhelmed with overhearing your neighbors plans for the day/night.

Absolutely worth visiting for a great breakfast! Wish we had these in South Carolina. Love the interior decor, the friendly service by all, and the breakfast food was delicious. We sat at a bar table facing the window, here you could see out front all the people moving about the area. We were instantly greeted by our server Spinsa, and she quickly returned with large mugs of coffee. The menu appropriately features all you could want for breakfast, we both decided on eggs benedict specials. Plus, we saw their pancakes and had to split an order between us. This place has it going on, and it is worth it. There was always a wait to be seated, but most were seated in a good time.

This place is a SNOOZE. We waited for about 45 minutes to see a tiny and overpriced menu. I do like the mini bar concept out front while you wait, but there is no space for a line so youre standing next to people eating! The menu items were uber hipster. You had to read each description because the titles of the dishes are so weird! For being so popular this place has a very limited variety that is really expensive. And their hash browns are gross. "Cage free scallions" is something this place would say... yeah... the only reason Im giving any stars is because the patio is nice and has sisters, unless you are unlucky enough to get a table that didnt get misted like us:/

This is not your typical breakfast menu. They have a number of different breakfast items, with unique twists on the menu, which is why I like the place. The pancakes & french toast are always good. We typically order the flight, to get a taste of a few. Though the food is good, the service is not quite up to par with the food. Ive been to the N Scottsdale location, and the Tempe location so far, and both times were a bit disappointed in the service. Although the servers are quite friendly, and you can tell theyre doing their best to keep up, it just seems the management, could do a better job with makes sure they have enough staff.

Very cute little breakfast place. Was able to go to the bar top while we waited and had a pineapple mimosa, which was pretty tasty. The others in our group ordered spicy bloody Marys but no one seemed to rave over them. Once we finally got seated (over a hour wait, which wasnt fun, but expected on a Sunday morning), I ordered the breakfast sandwich on the pretzel bun-was really good. Also had a few bites of the peanut butter pancake which was amazing. All and all we enjoyed ourselves but have trouble waiting such a long time for a table. Will try and go back during the week.

Cool place in the heart of Tempe....a modern retro cafe that blew my socks off! It was packed on a Friday morning so we sat at the bar and got great service! My boyfriend had the Snooze Classic with chicken sausage and it was really flavorful. I ordered the Duo Bennys, one chili Verde and one chilaquiles. AMAZING! I have been raving about it for 2 days now! Our server also had a molten chocolate lava with pomegranate pancake brought out for us to try....so rich and so awesome! Id pair that with a bottle of red wine! Would LOVE to go back!
