I ate there twice in one week; once alone, once with my husband; the young lady who seated me was quite pleasant and gave me a good table even though I was by myself. Thank you to her. The waiter was not helpful when I asked about two dishes - gee, I cant say, or, I dont know anything about that one; then he proceeded to slam every glass and dish on the table in front of me as he raced past. That is two soft drinks, salad plate, dinner plate and bill/tip tray. Ahem. The second time we received immediate snippiness from the older waitress which started when I ordered soft drinks (instead of wine? perhaps) and continued throughout the meal. It bordered on rude. The fact that I even noticed her attitude instead of the food and my husbands wonderful company should illustrate that this restaurant provides its customers with a less than satisfactory experience. Hows the decor? Charming. Hows the food. Good enough, but this is not gourmet. I will take friendly service at a plain old straightforward cafe from people who appreciate that I am choosing to spend my hard-earned dollars with them over the food and atmosphere of a so-called fine dining establishment who clearly thinks too highly of themselves.

We came for dinner on August 6. Our table, along with other tables waited 15+ minutes to even be acknowledged by a server & get menus. We waited again to receive our drinks - which we had to get up from the table and go to the servers station to ask for them. Finally ordered entrees and waited again. Again had to go to server station to ask for boxes and bill. I dont blame many of these issues on our server as this was his second day on the job and was clearly not getting any help from management. The female manager never came out from behind the bar & was constantly socializing with the employees for long periods of time. Our server was very apologetic and passed our disappointments on to this manager. Guess she decided our disappointment was worth 2 free sodas. She didnt even find it necessary to come to our table. The food was good so that is why I gave this a 2 star. Wont be returning as there are plenty of other Italian restaurants in town where the service and management is MUCH better and the food is good.

BEST ITALIAN food Ive ever had in my life. The system and how organized the whole place is was GREAT. We went in on a Sat evening on Labor day weekend and everyone was still great corteous and so pleasant. The food was SCRUMPTIOUS. I had a baked shrimp manicotti and a cream potato soup. They offered delicious large pieces of unlimited garlic bread and even offered to switch my soup for salad if I didnt like it which there was no need. The godfather to the family played saxophone outside and the melody was beautiful to acompany our meal. LOVELY everything was lovely. No complaints, whatsoever. There was a 94yr old woman celebrating her bday behind us and they brought out a complimentary delicious looking cake and sang happy birthday it was too sweet. AGAIN best italian place ever. True to its values and the dedication and hard work shows. Also the price was fantastic for an amazing meal.

The restaurant is cozy & pretty; its really dark inside, but there are lights & enough so you can read the menu & see the people in front of you, so thats good. Im pretty sure our waiter either forgot about us, or just decided to ignore us....or has dementia, since hes an older gentleman. Im still giving the restaurant 5*s however, since the food was super yummy, as were the deserts. The owner or manager lady, who seats people & walks around checking on you, she was really nice & helped out, the things the waiter was supposed to do. Right now, my moms credit card has been sitting at the end of the table, ready to pay, for 20+ minutes, while the old guy waiter, is ignoring us. Again, still giving 5*s cause the restaurant as a whole, is great w/ yummy food! If youre visiting or simply driving through, downtown Prescott, AZ... Id recommend stopping in for yummy Italiano!!!!

First and foremost when we walked in this cute little restaurant with maybe with 2-3 families seated. A sign said "host will seat you," we stood there as a elderly man with a bow tie and a tattooed lady kept going in and out of the back. I know they saw us, but we stood there waiting. When we were seated his service was not much better. The food was ok. Salty and too much garlic. (I am an overabuser of garlic when I cook, if Im saying this is too much garlic). Anyways a younger staff member came in and helped me box my wifes food and our pizza. If I could have given my tip to him I would have. Ive eaten everywhere from mom & pops to expensive restaurants, but Ive never had that feeling that unwanted guest feeling that I felt here. Never coming back and it sucks that most of the Italian restaurants in Prescott were closed on Sunday.

Came here based on a recommendation from a friend and Rosas was packed. Really glad we stopped in. GREAT food. We initially got a table but quickly realized our toddler was too tired and would probably get antsy so instead ordered take out. Ravioli was great. Meatballs in the spaghetti were delicious. Cheesecake...dang!! Extra dry and perfect just wish it was a bigger slice. Cesar dressing was homemade and altho a bit oily, the flavors were great. The caprese needed salt and the balsalmic wasnt reduced so that was the only bad item. Overall, great meal. A bit pricey but we were happy with it. Theu forgot silverware which was mega lame but our awesome motel had it. Highly recommend the Prescott Motor Lodge!

BEST meal Ive ever had!! Excellent Caesar salad, fantastic Alfredo sauce, best meatballs & the cheesecake....oh, the cheesecake....no words to describe how absolutely delicious it was! JR was our server, who gave us excellent service. Kathy & Audrey, the owners, came out and spoke to us like family. I would drive up from Mess just to have dinner and go home. Yes..it was that good! Thank you for a truly wonderful meal! I will definitely recommend Genovese"s to everyone!

Great service, great food, convenient location; what more could you want!? Small but varied wine selection. Very nice variety of dishes. We ordered way too much because it all sounded so good! Started with mushrooms and sausage, then went on to the lentil soup, finished with the veal. All of it was very well prepared. Did not have enough room for dessert. Service was friendly. They apparently are always busy so expect a full house, but thats ok.

Six of us visited Genoveses on the evening of August 9th. The occasion was my father-in-laws 92nd birthday. We were very impressed with the service, the food and the hospitality. The staff, including the owners, came to the table and sang Happy Birthday to him. He was really made to feel special. The good folks at Genoveses gave my father-in-law an occasion I know hell remember for (hopefully) many years to come.

We visited Genoveses while traveling through Prescott. Found the restaurant with a Google search. What a find. We found both the food and the service to be excellent. Even the prices were reasonable. While there we met with the Chef/Owner. She had a great attitude. Discovered she had appeared on the Food Channel and was appearing on a local food show. If we lived in Prescott this would be one of our regulars...
