I give this place only a 1 star because it failed to be everything I look for in an establishment. I live a few blocks south of this location and I was hoping it would become a regular spot to frequent... but I am sad to report this is the first and only time I will go. #1 Ambiance: I wish I could have seen my face when I walked in and realized it was nothing more than an Italian version of IHOP. Right. Down to the plastic water glasses. #2 Staff: We were greeted by a pleasant hostess and sat right away. Our waitress was friendly and the service was basic. It did take time to get waited on but we were not in a hurry so NBD. #3 Drinks: The water came right away, but for the menu prices it was weird to drink from plastic glasses. We each ordered a glass of wine, and then another. Probably would have been nice if our second glass was the the same as the first. There was a clear taste difference. #4 Food: The pre-meal bread was yummy. We also ordered a bruchetta trio.... I recommend you stick to the combination you know. For the main courses, as u can see from the pic, 2 people could not finish either plate. We ended up switching and still didnt find one we liked. That means we barely ate 1/4 of each entree. As Bryan Valdivia put it "The entree that I purchased sounded better in the description of the menu than it actually tasted." #5 Redeeming moment: for this I upgraded to

Mesa Location We placed a take out order tonight. We waited the recommended 20 minutes before driving to pick up our food (we live right down the street). When my wife arrived, she was told the order would be ready in about 5-7 minutes. My wife decided to add desserts to our order while she was waiting and was assured this would not affect the order. Staff and hostess were courteous and attentive. The inside of the restaurant looked nice and was well presented. Our food experience...Spaghetti and meatballs - The sauce was under seasoned - lacking pronounced flavor. I wanted to taste the garlic, basil, oregano. Meatballs were unremarkable, dense and without great flavor. Calzone - My wifes Calzone was burned on the top. Inside was a glob of cheese with ingredients that were not distributed properly inside the Calzone. Quoting my wife - "I had to dig to find the pepperoni and sausage. The crust of the Calzone had a "doughy" texture. Fettuccine Alfredo - My son got the Alfredo with Chicken added. He said it was okay. Given our first experience, we are inclined not to order online or frequent this establishment.

We ordered the white pizza, and I was surprised at how good it was. My family is Italian, and originates from NY before moving to Phoenix. Were usually picky about pizza. The service was great for us too, our waitress was very attentive and very happy, it seemed, to be working there. Always a plus. They have highchairs, the kids menu is a little pricey ($7 for each meal) so we didnt try it, but from what we experienced you get a good size serving for the price for adult meals. I think the prices of the appetizers could come down a couple dollars (theyre the same price as the entrees so we didnt try any), but overall it was a wonderful and delicious experience.

I saw this place advertised on a billboard and decided to go try it. Happy I did. The bread they give you before hand is unique and delicious. Their food was obviously freshly prepared and they had a big selection of original dishes to choose from. I got the alfredo and the sauce was way too thin... I could hardly get it to stay on a noodle for long enough for any of it to make it to my mouth. But my girlfriends dish (manicotti) was so awesome it saved the day. The sauce was bold and full of zest, with a pronounced roasted red pepper flavor. The cheese was also high quality. Next time Ill avoid the alfredo and go for a red sauce dish.

This place is bomb I only regret telling my gf I didnt wanna go for 2 years becuase we live down the street from the location and im not really down for italian food. I had their Calzone and it rocked my socks. The crust was really thin and so delicious best ive had in my life and im the pickiest eater ever. It wasnt one that burns your mouth or too much doe like all the other calzones i had. My gf had a pasta but there wasn enough sauce as I read before in another review. They serve good free breed but some weird sauce for dipping. I wanna go again soon lol modern and cool staff are inviting

My boyfriend and I stopped in after driving by and reading positive reviews. The hostess informed us they were closing in 5 minutes but still gave us the option for takeout and gave us a menu for next time, she was very nice. The guy who took our order was great as well. We ordered the pasta primavera and the bbq chicken pizza. Our food was out in a little less than 10 minutes and absolutely delicious. They also gave us bread and oil to go, also delicious. The bread is moist and pull apart. We are not local but will definitely return to this place! Great service and great food.

We have been here many times (going for two years now) and continue to go back. Great food (all food freshly made -- love their spaghetti sauce, try their spring mix salad w/golden raisins and sweet pine nuts) great service, very friendly waiters and waitresses. Very nice atmosphere. Especially enjoy Mondays and Tuesdays when they have their $5.99 Spaghetti w/two huge meatballs and is served with the italian bread w/balsamic vinegar and oil mixed together. You will not be disappointed! Makes me a bit hungry thinking about it.

Every experience seems to take a notch down. This last time, it took 15 mins just to get water! 45 to get our food. Empty drinks, no refill on water. Our waiter was subpar. Another table even wished us luck on our meal as they had a bad experience as well. I believe our waiter had 3 tables. One table would have cancelled part of their order if the waiter would have been around. Their service was even worse than ours. This experience will lead me to another location for certain. Love the food, horrible service.

Well we just walked in and were about to immediately turn around and about to leave because the hostess right off the jump was very rude and incapable of making any suggestions how to accommodate me for a bigger table since the tables are so small..She rudely answered every question with ((""no no no"")) and ultimately were unable the pizza we wanted to order and ended up ordering food we did not want to reversely accommodate the hostess with obvious inexperience..up side good was ok...

I was eating a salad from here at least three times a week and today all of a sudden a small (regular) Caesar salad with NO MEAT cost me 9.75$. which I was only paying 8$ and some change before. I brought it to the hosts attenton, and he made it seem like I was overreacting... that bugged me already on top of that, when I get back to work to eat it, less then 2 minutes away, some of the leaves are brown. I am unhappy I barley started to like this place. One star for good bread.
