I like in Amherst, Ohio, so I was so hoping that I would LOVE this restaurant, but its just okay for me. Ive read other reviews and it seems that others really enjoy the food, but for my personal taste I found it rather bland. For me, the test for any Chinese restaurant is: 1. How are the egg rolls? 2. How is the fried rice? 3. How is the Hot Mustard and Duck sauce (cuz Im a sauce Queen). I was not impressed with any of those things here. I have only tried the General Tsos Chicken and Sesame Chicken, so perhaps the things I really like they dont do particularly well. Its eatable and I wouldnt hesitate to eat here in a pinch, but theres nothing about it that makes me want to go there every week or two.

May I have some meat with my rice dinner please? Meat to vegetable/rice ratio is awful. I ordered the sesame "chicken" dinner, and was given enough rice to feed a family of 4, and underneath the presentation of the mystery meat and the 67 broccoli florets, was a good helping of good ol warm wilted lettuce that had drowned in pool of some msg infused syrup and to top it all off a sad soggy little egg roll. However, they do have the absolute best homemade duck sauce and hot mustard in the area hands down. Cmon Golden Crown, get it together. Hunan King reigns supreme!!!

DID NOT LIKE....never had General Tso that was so rubbery and hard to chew, more vegetables than meat. Chicken and mushrooms with a yellow sauce? Yuck plus chicken broccoli that looked identical to the chicken and mushrooms. Bright yellow vegetable lo mein......big $74.10 waste along with uneaten food. Moved to Amherst from North Ridgeville and really miss my old favorite place....plus the delivery. No one delivers out here. :( the only thing that was good was the service and nice people and the egg rolls. Have to find new Chinese restaurant.....:(

The only good thing about this restaurant is that it delivers and thats pretty much where it ends. I ordered the Shrimp and it made me extremely sick. It also made my dog sick (and he licks his own butt if that tells you anything.) needless to say they are definitally being taken off my list of take out menus.

Went here for the first time, and was pretty impressed. Had a very large menu to choose from. The price was a little high for what I ordered but got a lot of food, dinner and lunch leftovers. Overall the food was good. I would recommend it. 5mins in and out for take out.

Quite lil place to eat and qant and real authentic. Food and im highley impressed with not only the food. But with the service as well and not to high priced and im from FL and this is the frist time ever eating here and next time im in town i will be eating here agian

Delicious food served hot and fast is what keeps me going back. The workers are super nice. The place is also clean. Prices are good too. I luv there general to chicken, sweet n sour chicken, and egg rolls are yummy. Try it and you will become repeat customer.

I go to golden crown on a weekly basis because I love their food so much, if your looking for food as takeout or dine-in I would recommend the sweet & sour chicken, it is to die for. Definitely check this place out if your looking for good food.

Excellent food! And always has been consistent in quality and portions. My favorite chinese place. If you are in town, I recommend giving Golden Crown a try.. they have been rated the best in the county for nearly 20 years in a row!

The food here is amazing. They have the best eggrolls I have ever had in my life here. The service is always very friendly and the prices are comparable to other places in the area. Try the basil stir fry!
